My friends and I would always hit up the bar for half off apps every night, there would always be 30 of us in the bar at any given time. Everyone in my family would get trays of food from Dragon Villa for parties, we even had my best friends baby shower here! We LOVE Donna! Sadly, ever since Mike left it hasn’t been the same. The food, the experience, just everything overall is a flop. Salty, Greasy and unfriendly, hopefully they get it together it would be so sad to see them close after all of these years. When we entered the hostess behind the desk rolled her eyes as if she were annoyed. We were the greeted by a man who worked there who told us “no room for 7, no tables. I could clearly see plenty of open tables. Then he said there was only one waitress and the wait would very long. He was exceptionally rude and made it clear he wanted us to leave. This place may be better than Pho Saigon. The prices are unbeatable and the portion sizes are unprecedented. The staff is always very hospitable and the fish tank is well maintained… just revisited tonight. I took a star off. The waitress was still fantastic, but the place needs to be cleaned. The table was not clean nor was the floor or COVID dividers. The food was still unbeatable. The only other suggestion I could offer, which I hope someone reads, is to either put a sign at the entrance or have someone greet you and tell you what to do. Everyone just walks in and stands there confused. Make it more welcoming.
Food tasted great but it took a while to arrive. They also messed up my order a lil bit it was not a big deal – I had just asked for clear sauce but they gave me regular peanut sauce. It was an easy fix. And tasted delicious otherwise. I doubled up on the summer rolls and my friends ordered the Vietnamese crepe.
Normally I get their pho which is delicious but this was good for this day!
I got a large beef noodle soup with sliced steak and tendon to go and boy, was I so STOKED! This pho was incredible. I had to heat it up when I got home but it absolutely hit the spot on this rainy day. The man who took my order over the phone was so kind and when I arrived for pick up he was so friendly and happy. This place is a hidden gem. I recommend stopping in on a cold rainy day, or to be honest any day. It’s the perfect comfort food and a large is a lot, I have a whole separate meal for lunch tomorrow! Can’t beat the price, taste, and friendly customer service.
Pho was so delicious! The Summer rolls were also very very good! The peanut sauce they made has a little kick to it which i loved! I will definitely be back!
This is my first time my partner and I went to a Pho restaurant in Rhode Island and the experience was very good. We came around dinner time and the restaurant was very busy. The servers and host were pleasant. The food was delicious especially the sizzling beef in a hot plate. Would definitely go here again!
