- Reviews:Ordered the three plate combo with lo mein noodles. I got the traditional orange chicken, a spicy beef dish and a spicy chicken dish. I also got their version of crab rangoon which does not have crab in it it is only cream cheese some kind of seasoning. Those little crab rangoons were good but it very much lacked salt. The rest of the food was typical to Panda Express. You really can’t taste the difference between the three dishes and I didn’t think the spicy dishes were spicy at all. But Panda Express is a guilty pleasure of mine but I do like going to at least once a year so I got it out of my system and I will again return next year. If you’re looking for a semi-chinese food Style lunch or dinner this is an inexpensive place to go to get your fill. I will say though I was very upset at the service today at this location. I was there for nearly 10 minutes with only one couple in front of me before they took my order and when I went to the register I waited almost an additional 10 minutes to pay for my food. 20 minutes being in there for what I ordered is a little absurd and it seems like this store needs to get their stuff together a little better.By Chef Consultant (6 months ago)The Missoula Panda Express has always impressed me with how fast they turn without sacrificing quality. I have been to other locations that were terrible with wait times and the food was never consistent. This could be a flagship franchise for Panda express. My order was i was early to pick up my order but it wqs already waiting which was fine till I got into my truck and everything that was hot was cold and my cold drink was warm, portions weren’t worth the prices and not sure if they changed the honey walnut shrimp recipie or what but I liked the old glaze way better. It’s served by a friendly staff, that actually are moving at a pace that makes you know they don’t want you wasting your lunch break in a line to get food. As an appatizer we ordered the green beans, and they were delicious. A bit salty, but still enjoyable. For an antre I got Chicken Osaka. The chicken was great-as was the rice. Osaka chicken with noodles subbed for rice is just alright. Noodles are quite al dente and very oily, and the chicken is over cooked and very dry. The sauce has a good flavor. Bong bong chicken comes w tasty veggies. It is not at all spicy, which disappoints. Otherwise is was flavorful with strong garlic flavor. The new location isn’t insulated well! We are seated near doors to outside, and a cold draft comes straight to us. Brrrr Server was prompt and friendly but then disappeared when it was time to ask for to go box and check. I was so disappointed with my last experience. My friend and I had drinks at the bar and ordered our food to go. One of the boxes in my order was labeled correctly but had the wrong food inside. I called the next day and it went straight to a pre-recording that said they were closed and what their hours were (which were incorrect since they are now open daily). I called the day after and spoke to customer service who said I could either be reimbursed or have the meal remade if I came to the takeout counter anytime that week. I did a couple days later and spoke to the manager who was extremely rude. He questioned who I had spoken to about getting reimbursed since that is not their policy, also questioned me about having called earlier in the week and stated “why would the phone ring if we were closed?” It was a pre-recording so I couldn’t get through, the manager should know this. Overall, extremely unprofessional, I have never been treated so poorly in the food industry before. To top it off the food we got we didn’t even eat. The pork fried rice was very greasy and salty. My friend said her husband and two kids did not eat theirs, they spent well over $100. He reluctantly gave me a $20 gift card. I’ve got my go-to mix down to a science so the food is always good. Our service was great tonight for my birthday. Would have enjoyed soup but they were out. Still left full and satisfied. ????
I love coming to HuHot! This evening I came into the restaurant and even though they were busy, my partner and I were seated immediately. Rhi H. was our server and she did an amazing job and her service was exemplary. We were (kinda) needy and had a few requests and she was on top of it! It was such a wonderful experience. We will definitely come back and request her section if available. Awesome service!
Food was delicious as always! But we got placed at a dirty table, it didn’t have dishes like the rest of the tables but it still had crumbs on it. We just asked nicely to have our table wiped down and they did it with a smile and apologized. But the female cook looked like she hated her life. I understand things happen in life but I still have a smile on my face when I’m serving people, so should she. That’s my only concern. Again the food was over the top delicious! Then we did have to wait a bit and ask for a check but then they did apologize again for everything and with a big smile. I hope everything is going ok, I really love huhot and don’t want it to get shut down. 🙁 appreciate all of you guys!! Seriously!! :))) this was yesterday around 7ish
Very wheelchair friendly place! We arrived at 4:30pm on a Saturday. Only a couple other tables occupied. Was seated right away. Easy to grab our food. Cooked quickly. Glad we grabbed enough food for once through. When we were finished there was a line of at least 20 people and only one cook. So it would have taken a long time. I do not recommend Saturday after 5pm. Arrive earlier than dinner hour. Also, the only time we saw our waiter was even here brought us our drinks and when we had to wave him down for our check. Our experience was good, but if we had arrived at 5 or after we probably would have just left.
First negative review I’ve ever made. I’d been to Huhot years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Brought several people this time and was shockingly disappointed. The waiter was incredibly rude the entire time, arguing with us and challenging. Never encountered an angry waiter like that at any restaurant before. When we asked for salt to add to the bland food, the waiter told us there was only one salt shaker, for the ENTIRE RESTAURANT. We had to go back up to the bar to use it. The food assembly area was a mess. Food all over the floor, being stepped on constantly. Sauces spilled all over. The grill staff tried hard, but constantly dropped the utensils on the floor as well as the food. I can’t believe it could pass an inspection of any kind. It was the first time I chose to not leave a tip. Everyone in our party was sadly disappointed and we won’t be going back. What happened to Huhot???
