What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Very clean good food. Decent prices. Child friendly with a separate family bathroom and changing table. The sushi was really good for the price point. Only thing I can say I didn’t like was the wonton soup didn’t have any flavor in the broth.

  2. My family visited Mr. Stir fry on a Thursday afternoon right around 3pm, so we were there when they were switching over from lunch to dinner. Due to this timing, much of the food was not very warm and didn’t seem to be the most fresh. They did bring out a few fresh dishes as they were switching over and these options had good flavors, but the old items were still mixed in there which made for an inconsistent experience. Overall the flavors were good, and the hibachi station was excellent, but the stale and tepid food options left us wanting. Our waitress though was very sweet and attentive throughout our visit. It definitely could have been due to timing, maybe we’ll stop in again in the future at a different time and give them a second chance.

  3. Lots of empty food bins by 11:00 am; not alot of Chinese buffet options and buffet placement is kinda weird. Service was great as servers came with pitchers of beverages and walked around doing refills. Food was tasty.

  4. The Food was great and they had so many options! We got sat right in front of the service station and the servers were being very loud behind us. The whole restaurant was fairly loud but the servers were yelling to each other over everyone else and even put each other in a choke hold.

If you’ve never been here or to another similar Mongolian grill…. think Pancheros, Chipotle or Subway style of ordering, but meets Asian buffet. Yes, it’s Mongolian, but I’m describing it for others. It’s a long buffet of multiple choices of meet, beef, pork, chicken, and sometimes some seafood. Then you have Pad Thai, noodles, etc., and then a long line of veggies, and garnishments. Grab some beef and pineapple, water chestnuts, spinach, squash, broccoli, sprouts, etc., etc. Fill up to your hearts desire. Then at the end, a wide assortment of sauces. Many of which are all good all by themselves, however, you can mix and match and they even have suggested recipes to make certain flavors by combining them in certain amounts. Then you bring it to the massive circular grill where the cooks drop probably up to a dozen or so meals at a time on, and cook them up fresh right in front of you as you wait. The wait won’t be long, as they cook fast. The whole process goes pretty quick, aside from if there is a long line. Like what you got? Go get more of the same. Want to try something different, great, go mix it up, because the price covers all you can eat in that sitting. It may feel like a lot to choose from at first, but once you get the swing of it, which you will quickly do, it will be hard not to find meals that you like. It’s well worth a stop.

Buffet style goodnees with great variety of selections and sauces to tantalize anyone’s mild or spicy tastes. Also the Mongolian style barbecue cooking is fun to watch! Recommended!

Pretty good place. Food was really good. It’s all you can eat, but the line gets long fast so be mindful of that. Service was great! The price was also phenomenal! We paid $52 for two adults and 2 kids. I was very happy with that price. Would eat here again if in the area.

It’s Mongolian Grill; what can possibly be bad about it. Actually, lots could be bad about it, if it weren’t HuHot! The restaurant is clean, friendly, and inviting. The food is always fresh, and it’s always available. The employees always have a smile and are willing to assist in whatever needs you may have.

I can’t get enough. Follow the sweet and sour recipe and add 1 scoop of Kung pow yow, and ½ scoop of ginger broth. Then make sure they don’t put water on it while it’s cooking. Pro tip: you can “time” your digestive system by adding a lot of sesame seeds… how long does it take to see them again. And we all know that anything timed can be a race.

The food is amazing. One of the best Asian cuisine places in town. Generous portions. The only problem I had was the dining room is pretty small, but it was clean and organized.

The food industry is a difficult field to thrive in, and making good Pho is even harder. Living in the North West Pho became a way of life. I became friends with a family that, in my opinion, had the best recipe and technique in making delicious Pho. I make Pho for my own family and it takes me about 24hrs to get it to where its good. Da-Kao was a gamble, Pho in the mid-west?! Any way they have it right! Good portion, good meatballs, tripe and tendon, and flavorful noodles. I wish them the best and would not hesitate to return for another bowl if I am in town again. Pho isn’t just food, its medicine!

Whether you are feeling ennui or hungry, Da-Kao has a bowl of comfort food that will cure what ails you. Enjoyed two fresh springs rolls filled with shrimp, veg and mint (so fresh and delish), a pot of hot jasmine tea, a simmering bowl of glimmering chicken pho with the standard basil, lime and mung bean sprout accoutrements and a mix of meat with fresh veggies on a noodle bed. Beautiful cafe, attentive service, fantastic pricing. Must try whenever under any kind of weather in Siouxland.

There is a nice relaxed atmosphere at lunch. Spicy Orange Chicken, Hot & Sour Soup and Crab Rangoon were better than my favorite ‘go-to’ restaurant-Never thought I’d say that! Very reasonable prices ???? as well. Highly recommend this gem!

Very good local Vietnamese place. Ownership changed some time ago, but the quality didn’t. In fact, they upgraded to make the place look nicer, while the food remained as good as it has always been. I’d tell you what my main dish is, but I modify it a lot, so it won’t do much good. However, I’m sure you can see the hot n sour soup and egg rolls. Food is made to order and fresh every time. Take out and dine in both. There is a nice variety of things to choose from on the menu. If you like this kind of food, you won’t be disappointed here. Give it a shot, and see what you think.
