What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Clean buffet dining, wide variety of fresh to order, decent food, and fair lunch buffet pricing. My second time back after 5 years. A hostess is present and seated us. It was reassuring to see that our waitress and the majority of the staff were still masked:) Our drinks were out to our table within 10 minutes of being seated. The lunch buffet menu was easy to read and the pictures were helpful. The food was brought out 10 minutes after our order was placed. The sushi was good. The udon fried noodles were bland in taste. The udon seafood noodle soup is a decent size for one serving and plentiful and shrimp- imitation crab meat. The curry chicken don was okay too. I didn’t feel the food was very flavorful today but it was still decent. My favorite was the red bean ice cream! The ice cream was fantastic! The bathroom was clean and kept up.

  2. While the restaurant was busy and there was a bit of a wait (clearly, it’s quite popular), our first impression wasn’t great. The floors inside seem sticky and greasy, our table was definitely not cleaned, and it took several attempts and employees to get the correct menu (we were specifically looking for the regular dinner menu, not the all-you-can-eat menu).
After that, the service was fine, albeit minimal.
The food was decent, nothing exceptional. The salad that came with my hibachi dinner had a great dressing!
I’d be curious to come back for some sushi or for the all-you-can-eat menu.

  3. I like the concept of an all you can eat sushi. The nice thing is they have apps and entrees as well. The not so nice thing, well the quality is as you’d probably expect. It’s not great, but it’s not terrible…kind of like you’d get at a Chinese buffet with just a lot more options. That said, I think it’s a pretty good option for group dining.

  4. BE CAREFUL WHEN EATING SUSHI. This was always my to go all you can eat sushi but I’ve encounter fish bone in my Salmon Sushi recently. I’ve ordered vegetarian udon, but they put beef in it. Didn’t matter to me, but if you’re a true vegetarian just be careful. This place still has the best sushi and food compare to other all you can eat. I’m a little upset they also took away their cocktail menu. Will still go back though.

  5. Great service and food. I ordered sushi and my partner had the all you can eat. It’s a great value, you order still off a menu so everything is fresh. The beef fried rice, sushi and green tea ice cream was the best. Service was excellent with waiter coming by frequently so she could order more from all you can eat. Portions small enough that you can try different items. Atmosphere relaxed and comfortable, clean.

I really wanted to give 5 stars on the food but the bone marrow tartar was not the greatest only because eating the “grilled” bread was like eating cardboard. It was so tough, if I had dentures, I probably would have accidently shot them out of my mouth across the room when trying to bite the bread. But the rest of the meal was fabulous. The sushi was spot on and delicious. The firecracker shrimp was fabulous. The desserts were perfect to end the night. The portion for the chocolate cake was huge! The presentation was great and employees were wonderful.

Overpriced. Nice place. Decent staff. But overpriced for what you get. $46 sushi boat in the photos. Absolutely not worth that. That’s almost $3 per piece. We expected about twice that much sushi for that price. The bison burger was a frozen processed patty that was way overcooked. (Asked for medium, came very well done). That was $18.99. so not horribly priced, But the cook on it was bad so makes it worth about $10. Fries were good. Plenty of much better options for the same or less price, so I wouldn’t go back.

The truffle fries are delicious! There’s a good variety on the menu and they offer a good amount of sushi, vegetarian options, and more traditional dishes.

Always come here either for Happy Hour or dinner. The service is exceptional and the food is always on point. They have a plant based menu and a lot of options to choose from, and most of their regular vegetarian options can be made vegan. They have one of the best vegan bacon and I always get it as a side. I would recommend CRAVE to any vegetarians or vegans.

This was an extremely subpar dining experience for the price point. Problem 1: The food. I am not one to complain about food at restaurants, but the food here was bland, tasteless, and soggy. My entree was a pasta dish with chicken, mushrooms, and cream sauce. It was supposed to have “carmelized onions” but instead all it had were giant chunks of half-cooked, soggy yellow onion drowning in bland cream sauce. I am being entirely serious when I say this dish was 2/3 pasta and 1/3 soggy onion. Yet, it was somehow still tasteless. My partner’s pulled pork sandwich was soggy to the point where she could not pick it up, and she said it also lacked flavor. The sushi roll we shared was mediocre. The only good thing was the French fries (and those were excellent). Overall, we could have made better food at home for free. Problem 2: The service. Our waiter seemed to be in a rush (despite very few guests in the restaurant). I ordered 1 item and my partner ordered 2 items. While she was still ordering, the waiter walked away from the table. We were unsure whether he heard the second item. Turns out he did not. She did not get her entire order because he did not stick around long enough for her to place the entire order. So she had to re-place the order once the rest of the food came, causing her to continue waiting for her main dish. The waiter never came by and asked how the food was or if we needed anything. He also never came by to refill our water glasses, so by the time my partner’s food finally came, she was also thirsty. Problem 3: The facility. This restaurant was not clean. There was food all over the floor at the table next to our booth. We watched an employee clean and re-set the table. We were sure they would come back to clean up the floor, but this did not happen, at least not for the hour we were there. Also, the appetizer plates at our table had bits of food crusted on them. I opened my napkin (with silverware enclosed) and crumbs of food fell onto my lap. Never have I ever had someone else’s crumbs fall out of a “clean” cloth napkin. This is a health hazard and immediately dampened both my and my partner’s appetites. Lastly, there were no automatic push plates on the entrance doors to this restaurant. Someone with a wheelchair would have trouble getting in alone. Luckily I had my partner to open the door for me and my walker. If only one of these things had been a problem (the food, the service, or the facility) it would not have bothered us enough to leave a review. I rarely leave reviews. However, we went out to lunch at CRAVE to treat ourselves despite being on a limited budget and were deeply disappointed across all three areas. My partner has had good experiences at another CRAVE location, and this was my first time at CRAVE. After this visit, we will sadly not be returning to CRAVE.

Been going to Yang’s in Woodbury for American/Chinese food for 30 year’s, always good food ????

After coming here two times both visits have been disappointing. For the price they charge I would expect higher expectations. Both occasions food was cold and we arrived during the pickup time. Orange chicken had chunks of orange peel in it and the rice was hard. Sesame chicken was burnt, one star for the lo mein, and one star for the house sweet and sour.

I love this place, best sesame chicken! They make it with the sauce on instead of the sauce on the side like sweet and sour chicken. Fast service for how busy and small the kitchen is. The won tons are really good also. They are thick instead of thin and crunchy like some places, I like both kinds.

Loved Yangs. Ordered myself chicken lo mein. Menu said $12.95. Picked it up and it was $16.05! $16 for a quart of noodles with a few veggies and a couple pieces of chicken. It wasn’t bad, it was just OK. Kind of bland with a little bit of sweetness to it. Need to find a new place.

I’m sorry, I usually only post for great places to eat at…. I will NOT eat here again. Ordered take out… over $100 of food, chowmein, sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, fried wontons, orange chicken etc… Don’t know how it has good ratings…. Everyone has different taste buds, but my family’s don’t fit here .. P.S. the best part of the meal were the crispy egg rolls .
