Service is good. Food is amazing. We showed up without a reservation and were seated and served quickly. Always a difficult decision to decide on what plate to get. We had the bacon mac and cheese, hot chicken sandwich (with fries), and the fried chicken and pancakes. The dessert you see in the picture is the key lime pie. Can’t wait to try their breakfast and brunch menu next. Definitely recommend!By A nalie (10 months ago)Would recommend coming in a weekday so you can get a reservation because even on a Friday the line was out the door – but I can see why! The pancakes are truly phenomenal, so light and fluffy. I got the chocolate chip & whipped cream topping and the berry compote. The chocolate was great at first but got a bit sickeningly sweet after a bit – but the berry compote was perfect. I could only get through half of them but would come back and share next time! Staff was very kind and welcoming.By Vicky Conroy (a month ago)Love!!! The food was so yummy!! I got pancakes and they were so fluffy and just the perfect amount of sweetness. My sister got the biscuits and gravy and I couldn’t hold myself back from stealing a few bites. The atmosphere is very lovely too, this place is definitely approved by me!!By Antonina Lovyn (3 months ago)I went for brunch on Sunday around 12 it looked crowded but the line was moving pretty fast. I sat inside and the ambiance was nice. This is a pretty nice place for brunch and lunch. The food was good I ordered the Bubby’s breakfast and it was more than enough for one person. One of my favorite things was the biscuits. This is a must have if you go. There’s the option of refill coffee but it’s more money. Overall, the service was great. The food came out very fast and it was good.By Joyce Guevara (5 months ago)Bubby’s is so good, we went twice in a weekend. The service is friendly, the food is fantastic and the space is great. They don’t take reservations for brunch, but they have lines for indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s a well-oiled machine. The line moves fast.
The first visit I had the sourdough pancakes. They are thin, sour and spongey. The first few bites were delicious, but I don’t need to order it again. (Split some with friends! It’s worth the try.)
My husband ordered the James Beard pancakes with berry compote and they were amazing.
The second visit he ordered the crab cakes Benedict and loved it. I ordered the avocado toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The basil, crushed red pepper and goat cheese crumbled added herbaceous, spicy and tangy dimensions to a basic dish. The fries are phenomenal.
I ordered a loaf of their sourdough to go and it’s not to miss.
Bubby’s is deserving of the accolades.

They say you haven’t done brunch in NYC if you didn’t hit this spot. Well they’re kinda right, it’s the quintessential place for brunch! For me, they have the BEST blueberry pancakes there is! It’s so perfect paired with their famous maple butter. 2nd runner up is their Spanish scramble which is really delicious! It’s got cheese and sausage so good! It’s kinda hard to get a reservation so book ahead. Also reserve some room for the amazing pastries and desserts! I love the milkshake and the blueberry cheesecake was perfection as well! Great service and servers are always pleasant!By Albert Husmillo (7 months ago)Took the train all the way here for National Pancake Month. We made reservations about a month in advance. If you don’t, you have to arrive early early and the wait it more than an hour.
Ordered quite a few dishes from the menu… the chicken and waffle was a little questionable. Being a chef, I know when food has been reheated and the bottom piece of chicken was definitely from yesterday (our reservation was at opening). It was even darker than the chicken on top. Overall, food was delicious and fresh (with the exception of that chicken breast).
We enjoyed the food better at their Time Out Market location. They also had their pecan pancakes here and they were so good, I ordered a set to take home. They tasted the same 2 days later.
By J Powell (3 months ago)We got banana&walnut pancakes, blueberry smoothie, omelet with bacon and onions, and grit cheese! THE BEST PANCAKES I’ve ever had and I’m not a pancake person but I liked it. Also the milkshake had very good quality. The quantity of everything was great!!Atmosphere: other than it’s packed the place is really cute and clean.
Service: they were too busy so sometimes they forget something but they were kind and nice.
Waiting: if you don’t book, you’ll probably need to wait a long time!
By Hyunser Park (2 months ago)Some of the best pancakes you will ever eat. Get the blueberry but share them if you can as it’s a large portion. I usually go with the chorizo scramble with hash browns, which are both cooked to perfection. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing.Visiting words of wisdom – if you plan to go on the weekends, go early or be prepared to wait 2-3 hours for a table. You can only make reservations during the week, which I highly recommend you do. Otherwise you will still have at least a 30-45 min wait during brunch.
By Chas Reynolds (7 months ago)Made a reservation for 8pm (yay breakfast for dinner) so there wasn’t much of a wait time. Had the blueberry pancakes and chicken & waffles. Pancakes were great (definitely a must try) and the chicken was pretty tasty (wasn’t a huge fan of the waffles). I like that the chicken was a fillet/breast because it’s practical and more enjoyable to eat. Oh and the Mabel butter sauce is where it’s at!
Overall had a pleasant experience with good customer service.By Becky Ajuonuma (10 months ago)

Cute place! I definitely agree that it is pricey for the portion sizes. However, I’d still return and try more menu items.
Coffee was really good, the waffle was pretty standard. I do think the pastries should be warmed prior to serving, the croissants did taste a bit stale.
Our server, Annie, was 10/10! So kind and friendly! We sat outside, and it was inevitably freezing cold even with the overhead space heaters turned on. I really wish we had eaten inside, I wanted to see what it looked like. But overall nice restaurant and I would to back to give it a second chance.By Sydney Ott (a year ago)My favorite brunch in NYC. Had to write a review specifically about our server Jackson. He was the most lovely and wonderful server. I would go back just to see him again. So helpful and kind. Not to mention, every single thing we ordered was delicious. Croquet madame, Waffle sandwich, almond croissants and hot chocolate. So delicious.By Clara Cowart (8 months ago)Fabulous French restaurant!!! It was a tough choice to make what to eat since everything sounded great. Good drink options, very friendly staff. There was lots of people but for a good reason. The financier was great, their scrambled eggs as well. Definitely want to try their steak tartare next.By Stephanie Troice (2 months ago)I enjoyed this place. It doesn’t take reservations but I was able to get a table inside right away (came for lunch on a Monday). Service was fairly quick. I ordered the ginger tea (just a heads up, but it was very gingery, which I love), a scone and the chèvre eggs. Everything was delicious. The eggs were very soft, just the way I like it. The scone was tasty especially with the marmalade butter on itBy Cindy F (5 months ago)Signature French waffles and French toast and was absolutely delicious! Cortado was spot on and staff are friendly. All handmade especially the croissants were a real treat. Good vibes all around, will return.By Raquel F (8 months ago)

My sister said this place had one of the best bagels and during our weekend trip we didn’t get a chance to visit until we were about to leave NYC. We checked out of our hotel with our luggage and walked 5 minutes to the subway, sat on the subway for 30 minutes and walked another 15, let’s just say we were committed to trying this bagel place! We arrive in an area of litter and broken down bicycles and find that the business isn’t letting people inside. When I walked in he suggested I step outside and scan a small QR code and order online, and can bring it out. After the trouble, we order a $15 and a $20 bagel. It’s brought out after a few minutes and we fortunately are able to walk to a nearby coffee shop, order coffee and sit with our newfound bagel treasures. The first bite is hard to break off, tough and chewy almost, like leather. As my teeth become acclimated to this mysterious bread texture, my hunger takes over and I complete my mission. Was the bagel good? I think so. I would have liked an open dining room or an explanation of why it wasn’t available. I would have liked to have placed an order with a person and not a phone. Was it worth the extra trip? absolutely not.By David J Kanwisher (9 months ago)Went for the first time for brunch and it was absolutely lovely! The quality of the food is amazing, quick service, the whole theme is mesmerizing and I just knew at the end of my visit that I would be coming back. I completely recommend it, great for a fun date, meeting with friends and just for the whole family. They have so many options and you won’t regret it!By Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez (2 months ago)Unquestionably my favorite restaurant for brunch style food. The best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Pickled herring is excellent. The service is great. I’m not from NYC, but I visit periodically. This is always a priority stop when I visit.By Graham S (4 months ago)This is a busy cafe. If you get there at a busy time you have to wait. The food is very good quality and tasty. The cold brew is very good also. Highly recommend it.By crankycicada (5 months ago)Currently take out only but highly delicious! Well-prepared fish bagels and other creations harkening to Jewish traditions. Really loved the pastrami salmon bagel.By Elizabeth Hadden (9 months ago)

Great spot for brunch especially if you don’t want to wait too long. We got the breakfast bowl and Mediterranean breakfast; both were excellent. The food tasted fresh and wholesome, with the right touch of spice. The decor is very Parisian chic. Service was a bit lacking.By Chang Liu (4 months ago)The ambiance is great, prefect for a big groups and small group for brunch, lunch and dinner. So we got a kale salad for appetizer for $16 portions is good for two only.
Food we got:
Chicken Kebab $18 – good portion for one only, tasty and delicious would recommend getting it. The chicken is delicious and perfectly cooked.
Spaghetti and Chicken Meatballs – This is delicious but for me the sauce is kinda salty. However, the chicken meatballs is so tasty and perfect portions for the pasta.
I would rate it 8/10 ????
By Lyn Cerezo (9 months ago)Came for Saturday lunch with friends from Chicago , I took them here because this is one of my favorite restaurant and they impressed with the foods and dessert. Try to arrive early on weekends as the place seems to get packed very quickly but the wait not that long, the waiting lines might scare you. Try it this place is amazing Staff was also friendly.By Shannon S (10 months ago)Hotel was near by and always saw this place packed out so we decided to try brunch. The waffle is nice and the yogurt gave it a tart flavor.
I’m a burger enthusiast so I tried the Jack burger and added feta. It’s an ok safe choice. Not knocking. Definitely a dozen better options to choose from.
Love the design and decor.
By Joey Nguyen (2 months ago)Came for a Sunday brunch. If you want to make sure you are seated, arrive at least 15 minutes before opening (or more).
The menu is a take on Mediterranean cuisine and also includes lots of classics. We went for the duck bacon and fried egg toast and a grilled chicken sandwich.
The fries felt like it was frozen and didn’t really suit the place. We enjoyed the mint lemonade a lot and the service was good.By Ido Naim (a year ago)
