2 years agoKroger bakery always impresses! Twice in 2 weeks I’ve called them the day before I needed a birthday cake and both times they delivered. Even when they didn’t have a licensed cake for one of the cakes I requested, they still made me a cake to match the theme. However, beware the baggers. They tossed our cupcakes in the cart causing some aesthetic damage. Had to work a little magic to repair the bakers good work.
3 months agoExcellent Kroger’s to shop at as it’s usually quick and convenient. Decent prices most of the time 😁8 months agoBest Kroger around! Hands down!3 months agoThis place was a dump when it was a Thriftway and its a dump now. Go to a nice new Kroger instead.a year agoThe employees here are always so helpful and friendly. I always feel welcome when I am here. They worked in a snow storm once and I was shocked they were even there working with the weather as bad as it was and kept their composer even when they had this one extremely ungrateful and rude customer who made a scene when they only had self check out open. I felt she should have been grateful those employees even risked coming into work with how bad the weather was so that she could purchase food from their store.
How to Shop Smart at Kroger Florence KY: A Quick Tutorial
Shopping at Kroger is a convenient and efficient way to stock up on groceries and household essentials. To make your experience even better, here is a simple guide to help you navigate the aisles and find everything you need.
1. Make a shopping list: Before heading to Kroger, take a few minutes to make a list of the items you need to buy. This will help you stay organized and ensure you don’t forget anything.
2. Check for sales and coupons: Kroger regularly offers discounts and promotions on various products. Be sure to check their weekly ads and website for any sales or digital coupons that you can use to save money.
3. Plan your route: Kroger stores are typically laid out in a similar fashion, with produce at the front and other departments towards the back. Plan your route accordingly to avoid retracing your steps and save time.
4. Grab a shopping cart or basket: Depending on the size of your shopping trip, choose either a shopping cart or basket to carry your items. If you have a long list, a cart will be more practical.
5. Start with fresh produce: Begin your shopping journey by heading to the produce section. Choose fruits and vegetables that are ripe and free from bruises or blemishes.
6. Navigate each department: Move through each department, such as meat, dairy, and bakery, checking off the items on your list as you go. Keep an eye out for any special deals or promotions.
7. Compare prices and brands: Kroger carries a wide range of brands, including their own store brand, which often offers comparable quality at a lower price. Take the time to compare prices and choose the best option for your needs.
8. Don’t forget household essentials: In addition to groceries, Kroger also has a section for household essentials like cleaning products, toiletries, and pet supplies. Make sure to check if you need any of these items and grab them before heading to the checkout.
9. Utilize self-checkout or choose your lane: When you’re ready to check out, decide whether you prefer the convenience of self-checkout or a traditional cashier. Look for a lane with the shortest line to minimize your waiting time.
10. Stay organized at checkout: Keep your reusable shopping bags or containers ready to pack your groceries. If using your own bags, inform the cashier before they begin scanning your items.
- Follow the instructions on the payment terminal or provide cash or card to complete your purchase.
- Double-check your receipt and ensure you’ve been charged accurately.
- Thank the cashier and make sure to take all your purchased items with you.
By following these guidelines, your shopping experience at Kroger will be smooth, efficient, and enjoyable. Enjoy your shopping trip and stock up on all your essentials!

Just so you know, this Kroger has the smallest sushi selection compared to the Ft. Mitchell and Union locations. But I do like the California Roll, which can be found at any location, and boy was it delicious. Overall, pretty nice Kroger that seemed clean and organized.

I delivered to this kroger and went inside for some water and food. I saw a ton of “Cars” toys on sale for $1.18 [Tag said “Disney Cars”]
I grabbed 6 and had to go to self checkout as no regular lanes were seemingly available.
They did not ring up for sale price.
An employee checked and told me that they were in a spot for a different Cars toy and were misplaced. So I would still get them for $1.18, he just needed a manager.
I waited about 6-8 minutes or so and the manager showed up with the employee.
She told me the tags read “matchbox 4/$5”
I assure you, they did not. I specifically checked this…
She then told me I could go check if I didn’t believe her. I INSTANTLY knew what she had done. I still bought my son the Cars, but on my way out I checked the price on the tags. They were 100% Altered. New crisp tags in place. Just know Mrs. Cheetah print headband …I know what you did.
I have attached a pic of the new tag that was printed. I didn’t actually think to photo the tag before unfortunately.
The ladies room was a mess. TP holder broken, soap dispensers broken, hand towel dispenser broken. The new carts have a wheel lock system that seized up in the parking lot. Very dangerous. There must be a sensor to keep them in a confined area of the lot. We had parked a little further away to be in the shade.
How dare you fire a child with autisim because he was shy and “did not greet every customer” or “he was not speaking loud enough”. Kroger is really showing its true colors that it hates people with disabilities. What’s next are you gonna take the wheelchair ramps away or push down an old lady. Very disappointed in you guys. I’ll have to add you didn’t even write this kid up. With the power of social media I will be getting everyone to go to Walmart.
On Sept 7, I arrived at the Krogers on mall road right before the customer service desk was closing. As I walked up to the deck one of the male associates slammed the close sign down and obnoxiously said “closed” I find his behavior very rude considering that he’s working in customer service. The other associates I’ve encountered are usually helpful and kind.
