I purchased chocolate bakery cookies. I got 2 dozen all together. The sticker said chocolate bakery cookies 50 ct. $9.99. there was an orange sticker on the packages that said $3.99 with card. I used my Kroger card and when I looked at my receipt in the car I saw that I was charged full price, $9.99, for both sets of cookies. The cookies in store were either mislabeled, or not keyed in to give the discount. This has happened multiple times, with several different products, were the sale advertised wasn’t applied at checkout. Another time involved board games that were advertised buy one get one 1/2 off, but all of the games were full price. They are repeatedly not honoring their advertised prices; and unless you take the time to really comb through your receipt, you are unlikely to catch it. I am extremely disappointed in their unethical, fraudulent business practice.
Nicely laid out store. It also has a Starbucks inside for your convenience. Always very busy which makes it a little hard to shop and look for items needed.
Typical Kroger prices which are higher than Walmart or Aldis.
Overall a good location with deli, bakery and floral departments.
Worst Kroger I’ve ever lived around for a number of reasons. One is how they keep stop carrying staple items. But the worst of it is the lack of people working the checkout stations. The lines are utterly terrible, even at times when it should be an easy in and out.
I understand we’re in a labor shortage, but if management is good and treats their people well, the population of workers will want to work there.
As other grocers open locations in Georgetown, they’ll certainly lose a lot of customers.
The absolute worst Kroger (or any grocery store) you’ll ever go to. The ClickList management and evening shift management are rude, use foul language, and actually turn ClickList customers away by 8:55PM (even though they were scheduled for a pickup slot of 8:30-9:00PM). They mark half of your ClickList order as “out of stock,” even though you could immediately walk inside and those “out of stock items” are fully stocked on the shelves. Inside, it’s understaffed and we’re lucky if there are two actual cashier lines open—other than that, it’s self-checkout, even if you have $200 worth of items in your cart. It’s so unfortunate that other that the only grocery store options we have in our heavily populated city is this horribly managed Kroger and one Walmart.
I am a disabled person who utilizes a task trained service dog. At other grocery stores, I have had extensive issues with people bringing in pets (which is not legal via the ADA and FDA) and staff doing nothing about it when I ask. My service dog has been attacked by multiple aggressive pet dogs who should not have been in stores. When I moved to Georgetown and started going to this Kroger for my grocery needs, I was shocked. The staff is ACTUALLY knowledgeable about service dog laws and policy and actively ensures that people do not bring in pets. It’s the first time I have felt safe in a grocery store with my service dog in a long time. They are great about complimenting how cute she is and how cool it is to see a service dog without interfering with her job or distracting her. 10/10 recommend this Kroger to any service dog handlers. You’ll actually feel safe shopping here
