3 months agoThis place has been racist for at least 6 years. I try to come by here from time to time to see if anything changes but nothing ever does. It’s always with the meat and seafood department. I’ve been going to Tom Thumb to get fresh fish. At least they treat me with dignity.a year agoKroger on this location is very nice.. , with in store Starbucks, everything is clean and neat..certain items are little expensive compare to other location,2 weeks agoMy last two visits to this Kroger have been filled with frustration. Not all of the self checkouts were working and they certainly don’t employ enough cashiers or help for the self check out stations. In my case today, between a needy customer and and the self service machine stopping and requiring the cashier to work her magic each time after I had run 25/33/38 items, it caused me to lose 10 minutes of precious time I will never get back. I like the food at this Kroger’s, but with HEB breathing down your neck a few blocks away, I would rethink this practice of not having all your self service kiosks working and having more help available.4 years agoA great place to go Krogering. Wide aisles, well-stocked shelves, clean environs, and sufficient personnel make this place a fantastic Kroger as far as Krogers go. This place has been great for at least 12 years, and the grounds have always been lovely, of all things. If you need groceries or anything else that Kroger offers, I recommend this Kroger above all.a month agoI moved away from Texas and Kroger. OMG I miss Kroger. Kroger has great organic, vegan, and vegetarian selections. I wish Kroger would open a store in my area.

a month agoSeveral different items I have purchased from the store have been discontinued. The excuse I got was they downsized as Mcdermott Allen store is smaller. Its not! These were items that also sold well and had to be ordered more often since both my family and others purchased it quite often. One of these was a very vanilla Soy vanilla ice cream in 16 ounces. The grocery manager said they accidentally ordered the cashew milk in 8 ounces and did away with my 16 ounce on the module. It did not make any since since they ordered it in front of me and got a bunch in after Josh the store manager asked the grocery manager to do so. I am so unhappy with Kroger. Josh told me they would continue to get this ice cream in. Among the items that have been canceled are Saffron Road Chipoltle Cheese enchiladas, Soy vanilla ice cream 16 ounce by So delicious, Veggies made great chocolate chip muffins and a few other items. I think someone was tired of me asking them to go to the back to get them!5 months agoGreat place for grocery shopping, the flower section is great and they have usually good plants on sell for a good price. The management is always positive about helping the customers, Joshua goes above and beyond helping everyone around. I dont buy that it was a accident !a year agoBought the pretzels on 7/4. The package has the date on it. Found a bunch of mold by 7/5. I already had about 10 of them ????????????5 months agoEvery single time I buy groceries something is missing from the bag. I’m charged for the items and it’s not in the bag. Not sure how it happens everytime and I don’t miss any items when I use self checkout. I always have to go back and get the missing items.

This place has gone straight down the toilet, now the staff are rude and slow, I thought I was at the post office for a min. Recently one of the cart attendants cursed at my wife for putting a cart back in the receptacle instead of giving it to him. Plus the meat has consistently been bad here and products smashed etc. Looks like they hired ppl straight from walmart, or maybe a mental institution. Good thing HEB is opening up right around the corner, because I’m not going here anymore!
I usually go to the other kroger to cash my check and never had an issue. I was on this side of town so I figured I stop here. Linda at money center outright declined to cash my check. She used multiple excuses, first she said my out of state ID was a problem, then my check was too big, then she didn’t have money, then she only had small bills, and then I had to have a Kroger card. When I asked for a manager, she ran the check but intentionally miskeyed the amount by two cent so the system denied it. When I requested to speak with a manager, she said he was tied up and would not be coming to speak with me. I left and came back about 30 minutes later after verifying the check amount was the only issue. This time I was able to speak with a manager, Colin, who couldn’t care less about the discrimination and frustration this woman caused. Absolutely the worst experience and service I’ve received from any Krogar. Linda and Colin, both need to be retrained on effective and respectful communication.
The store staff is generally unfriendly. The pricing labels are difficult to understand and are misleading and often times inaccurate. Today Blue Bell ice cream was labeled $4.99 but
I think it went off that sale price yesterday (or did it????).
Waterloo 6 pack was charged at $4.59 but sign was $1.59??

We pre ordered a sandwich tray and cupcakes for my daughters bday weeks before pick up and we arrive today on the date we scheduled for pick up with receipt in hand and NOTHING WAS MADE. They lady was rude acting like it’s our fault they didn’t do their job. Thanks for nothing Kroger. We will not be using Kroger in the future. Don’t bother ordering cakes or sandwhich trays unless you want to risk wasting your time and potentially ruining your child’s bday.
