2 weeks agoWarning – if you don’t want to shop in a 90 degree mall then Southland ain’t for you. Southland Mall likes to shut down its AC in the afternoon. Since the mall closes at 7pm, they turn it off around 5pm daily and this makes the whole joint miserable. Went to second floor of Macy’s and it’s inhumanly hot up there and that might explain all of the messy and chaotic displays in this store. Also, didn’t feel particularly safe here – some guy in plain clothes (no store nametag on him) was standing around and watching us shop the whole time and when we were talking to each other about what we wanted to look for next, he butted into the conversation and started directing us in a kinda creepy way. Not sure if this is supposed to be some kind of plain clothes security guard or if it was just one of the normal Southland creepers hanging out but I don’t need or want some creeper OR security guard trying to tell me what to shop for.4 months agoMacy’s going downhill. I went to pick up my online order. The employee was efficient but unenthusiastic – never greeted me and never said thank you. I then went to look around the store. The shelves are messy and unorganized. The floors are getting more and more empty especially the third floor. Half of the kitchen area is now gone. Macy’s stuff used to be high end. However, ever since the added the Backstage area, their stuff has been looking worse than that of Ross’s.5 years agoA must go store at Southland , or you like Macy’s this is the one you should go to see, not too much compared to other places but it has a lot more sale than the other one, I cannot say why, but sometimes i went to other mall and check out Macy’s I always saw more expensive than, cause my style very popular so I always find it with good prices2 months agoIts just not nice anymore. Clothing selection is great but upstairs is disorganized and laid out like a thrift store with many items without price tags!3 weeks agoOne of my favorite stores. Macy’s has a strange debt payment policy. I tried to pay bill on web, web showed my wife’s debt as zero. At the same time paper bill had a positive number in this column. When my son tried to find the reason, call took more than an hour,, he was switched to “other department” three times and the only answer we”ve got was that her card is closed because of bankruptcy, at the same time she has never got any bankruptcy, but nobody was able to explain why her record is closed. At the same time she used her card up to last month without any problems or limitations, just paid it every time in person in the store. That what we did yesterday with many problems because she had COVID and has heart problem now I should say that Macy’s service doesn’t work properly, at the same time service in the store we visited yesterday was perfect. I advised her not to use their credit and pay by bank card, I am able to pay through web.

Great store with great variety of items to shop from. Have great deals on their clothes, though some are a bit pricey.
Macy’s had a wide variety of sales from 25 to 70% off. The staff was really helpful. I haven’t shopped there in many years but I would like to go back now
