in the last weekAfter I had booked my flights upon receiving my confirmation, I noticed that for both my husband and myself, there was baggage billed for only one way… I logged onto the CheapFlightsFares and started a chat with SCOUT.. I explained my issue and the problem was solved with adding those bags so I had for both ways for out trip! Ticket was an absolute steal and the process was seamless for the most part, aside from a billing address error from my end. that being said, the error was quickly resolved through their expedient and respectful customer support. No spammy marketing emails post-sign up, no complications from the airline, highly recommend this travel agency if you are trying to travel on a budget.4 weeks agoI would NEVER recommend using this site. I was extremely disappointed w/ the service I received. I booked tickets on spirit and was not able to cancel them with in the 24 hours since I had used this site (if I had booked directly on spirit it would not have been an issue) I wrote this in a review and received a call and text to “help” me resolve this issue. I was basically refunded $150 to “adjust” my review to make it “positive”. I was then told I could bundle a better deal on luggage if I purchased this for an additional $374. ** When I went to check in, the $374 I had PAID months earlier was not showing up. I proceeded to spend hours on the phone trying to resolve this which they could NOT. They had NO ability to “Check my bags” The supervisor even threatened to cancel my flights when I said I would dispute the $374 charge on my credit card. The only thing they could do was refund $224 (they were now subtracting the $150 they had already given me to “make me happy” w/ the initial issues). I have never been more insulted. I felt I had been totally scammed and will NEVER recommend or use this site again!a week agoIt’s first time using this. Wonderful customer service . Very delightful and cheerful personality of the lady Caren I spoke with .. she really knows how to deal with customers who are not very knowledgeable. Best wishes to Carenin the last weekUpdate, they called and bribed me with a $35 credit per person (2) to change my review to good. Again, don’t use this site.Terrible experience first time using them. Never again. Save yourself the time and do NOT book with them. After booking they will try to charge you an additional $300 because your price is “no longer available” whatever that means.

2 months agoI booked our honeymoon to the French polynesia a year before our wedding and when it came time we were so excited for our travel! Jess Milano was absolutely amazing and planned out perfect honeymoon. When it came time to travel unfortunately flights were cancelled but first discount travel did everything they could to fix our issue with our flights and made everything so easy! 3 months agoI’ve used FDT many times over the years. My recent trip to Dubai with a girlfriend was exceptional. Jennifer went above and beyond with every detail. From the moment we stepped off the plane to be greeted by help getting through the airport, to the hotel, tours, and food, it beat expectations. She adhered to our budget but brought in the glam. We are ready to go back!!!a month agoI rarely leave reviews. If I do it is because I feel passionate about my reason in doing so. In this case I was asked to and I couldn’t say no – because Brandee is fantastic!!We randomly called First Discount Travel strictly by looking at reviews online and deciding this place seems good. That didn’t mean we were going to do business with them but we were willing to check them out.
Brandee was the person we spoke to over the phone to start. We told her we wanted to take a very nice 25th Wedding Anniversary Trip but we can’t decide where to go or what to do exactly. She asked us what we think we would like to do for fun on this trip, we told her and she said “I have the place for you!” We met with her later that same morning, we had the opportunity to also speak with one of the owners, who was also very kind and helpful. By the time we walked out the door, we had placed a deposit down on a 11 day trip to Costa Rica! But that was just where her experience as a travel agent began. She walked us through every single aspect of planning the details of our trip and was always available to help and answer questions and she made sure everything was as we wanted it to be, to the best of her ability.
We had the most amazing trip of a lifetime to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and we owe it all to Brandee and First Discount Travel! We highly recommend them! They are fantastic and we definitely plan to book more trips through them in the future!
