We had a trip get canceled last minute and we were so sad but still wanted to go somewhere. We called Fox World Travel on a Tuesday morning and Julie had many different vacation options to us in less than an hour. We were all booked that afternoon and we flew out 2 days later. She took care of all the details, even with our last minute request, and also called when we got back to ask how everything went! It was an amazing experience and we will for sure call Julie if we need another trip planned in the future!

My husband and I had the dream of going to South Africa for our honeymoon and was so excited to meet with Katie Buss since she has been there. When meeting with her, all she did was rave about the trip she took and wanted to copy that exact trip for our honeymoon. She did not listen to our wishes and was going way over the budget we had set. We left the appointment waiting for Katie to send over more travel options for us, but never heard back.

I recently won a trip voucher from work of $500. Since I can’t travel internationally with such a small amount. I asked for some options in Wisconsin. The rep I worked with told me that I could maybe find something on Expedia. After asking about like 5 different hotels, she finally sent me some options. We agreed on a motel in the Dell’s, I asked for a 3 day weekend memorial weekend and then booked. Little did I know, she booked me for August. Days later, I was emailed she wasn’t with the company anymore. I never once asked for a weekend in August in our emails back and forth. My mistake for not double checking. So we got up to the dells, there was no booking. We ended up paying out of pocket, and had to find another place to stay there was nothing they could do for me. Extremely disappointed!

Walked in with an appointment looking to get more information for a trip. It felt pretty unwelcoming when we walked in. No one welcomed us when we walked in, and finally someone came out of the back and asked what we needed. We stated we had an appointment and the agent we were working with came out of the back. The agent never asked for our names. We stated we were looking to go to Alaska and or to other places in the world/open to ideas. We stated we were interested in fishing, hiking and exploring local areas. We also stated we didn’t want a cruise. We had a pretty good budget to work with, with some wiggle room, and gave the ideas of what we were looking to do. None of what we were looking to do was brought up in the meeting. The first suggestion was to go on a cruise when we said we were not interested in a cruise. When certain things didn’t match our budget just right the agent didn’t suggest any other places to look into/other options and suggested we just do a driving trip Nashville or the Grand Canyon for our honeymoon.…. Less than an ideal experience.

Sara is an amazing agent. She is not only knowledgeable about the products and services, but takes the time to make sure you have the ones you need. She treats you more like a friend, and less like a customer.

Our travel advisor, Marilyn Daleiden, was so attentive to my requests. We were in contact several times. She wanted to ensure we received the Fox Travel discount and made it her mission (!) to do so! Our trip is now booked with all my requests confirmed. I enjoyed working with Marilyn. Thank you, Marilyn!

Top Travel Agent Alternatives in Wisconsin

A travel agency is a private retailer or public service that provides travel and tourism-related services to the general public on behalf of accommodation or travel suppliers to offer different kinds of travelling packages for each destination. Travel agencies can provide outdoor recreation, arranging logistics for luggage and medical items delivery for travellers upon request, public transport timetables, car rentals, and bureau de change services. Travel agencies can also serve as general sales agents for airlines that do not have offices in a specific region. A travel agency's main function is to act as an agent, selling travel products and services on behalf of a supplier. They are also called Travel Advisors. They do not keep inventory in-hand unless they have pre-booked hotel rooms or cabins on a cruise ship for a group travel event such as a wedding, honeymoon, or other group event.
