I spoke to him about mold abatement and hvac duct cleaning strategies today and Ian could not have been nicer, more knowledgeable, or more generous in sharing his time and expertise with me. He recommended some approaches and shared some referrals and I now have a path forward. And he did this all without getting anything in return… yet. Once all of the work on our condo is done, I look forward to bringing Ian in for post abatement testing. I never write reviews. But Ian is worth it. 5 stars, hands down!a year agoOver the past 48 years I think of only a few, a handful of companies I have done business with that i am blown away by there knowledge, honesty and perfect execution of explaining to me the absolute best way to deal with my issue and that calling and spending money is not neccesarally the best way to tackle my issue. The employee, who answered mind you, is almost done with his day. Its a Monday I am sure he was ready to go home. And he happily helps me. Great job!!3 years agoResponsive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, professional, educational – these are a few of the words I use to describe Boston Environmental and Ian James. I called Boston Environmental about closed cell foam insulation I had installed in my home. Despite it being the start of a holiday weekend I received a return call from Ian James the same day. He was professional and gave me clear, succinct, understandable information and direction. After some testing Mr. James again responded promptly to my call and again provided clear, technical, useful information. I don’t recall the last time I was so impressed by a professional firm. I recommend Boston Environmental without hesitation.2 years agoThis company is exceptional! I had a building sewage pipe burst and flood my condo, and have been dealing with the insurance company who is trying to pay as little as possible to fix the situation. I called Ian James at Boston Environmental, and he kindly answered a lot of my questions about mold and sewage floods. He is extremely knowledgeable about these topics and was very willing to spend his time explaining things to me without charging me for his time.I had some more questions and called him again months later. Not only did he remember my flood story, he again spent another hour on the phone with me answering my questions. He went above and beyond, even though he knew that he wasn’t going to get any business out of it because the issue has been settled. That kind of dedication to helping people is very rare to find in a company.
You get what you pay for, and it is important to hire the best when dealing with environmental issues that can lead to health problems. I would hire Boston Environmental without any hesitation in the future if I needed their services. Thank you Ian!

He gave me instructions on what to do next and I am convinced they will be the right company to pursue my spray foam issues. So professional yet very personable. 2 weeks agoRon, Keith the team did an exceptional job on our home. Our newly purchased Victorian home was de-leaded to provide a safe space for our family and it came out looking beautiful. We had an issue on the jobsite caused through human error. We communicated this issue through the team and were met with exceptional resolution. Alpine went above and beyond to ensure that our issues were resolved in a way that left us happy and most important provided an extremely safe environment for our three children. I could not recommend enough the professionalism and passion of the company to ensure a job is done right and a customer is left satisfied. Some firms thought the timeframe was simply infeasible. Alpine — Jason Roy specifically — patiently worked through all the options with us in detail to make the timeframe work and then oversaw the progress of the project, ensuring everything was done properly and on time. Keith Adams, together with Joel Ruiz, managed the project directly and focused on all the details through the completion of the final punchlist and really took responsibility for the quality of the work. The work was great. The communication and responsiveness was great. These folks were great!3 weeks agoAlpine did excellent work solving an unexpected mold and rot problem inside an exterior wall. We’d recommend them to anybody!6 months agoWe had Alpine complete a huge project deleading our entire house (1914 build). They did an unbelievable job stripping, refinishing and reinstalling dozens of windows and doors. They worked with old Bostonian to perfectly restore all of the originals and post-reinstall the work looks beautiful. They managed to perfectly maintain the historical integrity while refurbishing and deleading in full! Better yet, after the reinstallation they did several walkthroughs to tweak and adjust anything that came up for free. Most important, they did the work the right way. They installed the windows and doors with the original methods keeping the pulley-rope systems and original hardware. They truly stood behind their work and completed the project perfectly on time. We couldn’t have been happier working with them. Thanks to the whole team and especially Keith for a great experience!
