in the last weekHello,I don’t typically leave reviews but I felt that I need to leave a review based on some of the skepticism and negative comments that were being left. Here is my experience.
I went on Google flights, which I normally do because they source out the best prices and deals on flights. I searched up tickets from LAX to Heathrow and Crystal Travel was the best price provided. I went ahead and booked as normal and provided all the information needed to get my tickets. Shortly after booking I received a call from the Crystal Travel customer service department to confirm my booking and to inform me of next steps. This part was new to me as I have never been contacted by phone to confirm my booking. Where I became skeptical was when the representative asked me to rate their service or experience via an email link as I had not even gone on my trip yet. The representative said “Have you received the link, if so, I’ll wait on the phone while you rate our service”. I clicked on the link and it asked me to sign into my Google account. This concerned me because I thought maybe they were trying to steal my information. I then went and started reading some of the reviews and there were a lot of horror stories on there which made me worry that I may lose out on my tickets and money. I did the next thing I could do and that’s call the airline directly and confirm that the tickets were reserved and to see if there was any issues. The airline representative was extremely helpful and reassured me that the reservation was good and active. I decided to play it out and check daily that my tickets hadn’t been canceled for some reason. They were not. I went on my trip and came back with no issues. I didn’t want to rate anything until now just so that I can accurately rate their service.
With all that being said, I have to give Crystal Travel a great rating!!! They had the best price and I had no issues at all! Although I’m not used to receiving a phone call to confirm my booking, I think it was a nice touch on their part to reassure us that everything was good to go for my trip. If I had the opportunity to book again, I would 100% do it!! I highly recommend Crystal Travel and I hope this may calm some of you after reading other reviews. My trip was January 1 2024- January 10, 2024!
a week agoThe staff at Crystal Travel and Deborah in particular were a huge help in guiding me through the ticket purchase process. We had originally booked tickets for overseas last month with another company but had issues with airlines and were unceremoniously dropped. After doing a google search, we found Crystal Travels and started to make the purchase. I called customer service to arrange payment and spoke with Deborah. She allowed me the time to make all of the necessary updates and changes required. She was also very patience and showed empathy when difficulties arose in payment. Her recommendations with working with the banks and ticket booking were extremely helpful. Her clear and open communication was extremely refreshing and made for excellent peace of mind when making this purchase. She also called me back personally to inform me the tickets were booked. Throughout the entire exchange, Deborah was extremely courteous and I really felt she went out of her way to help me. I am thoroughly and completely satisfied with the exemplary service and kind help provided by Deborah at Crystal Travel. 2 weeks agoMartin Smith provided the BEST customer service that I’ve ever received! I’m not exaggerating either – I mean it. He was on the phone with me for hours determined to find the perfect flight. He truly went above and beyond, and was so patient whenever I asked questions or asked him to look into different options. Because of his excellent service, I feel confident about my purchase and will recommend this agency to others who may need assistance booking a flight through a reliable source! They actually called me when my purchase didn’t go through the first time, and from there we ended up exploring more options. So happy we did because I ended up with a much greater choice at the end! 4 months agoI have used H&S Travel & Tours several times in the past few years and always been satisfied with their customer service. I usually deal with Armaan who understands my requirements and does his very best to assist. I recall several times when we had to travel for family medical emergencies and he assisted me/my husband with our travel. He is pleasant, courteous and prompt. I would definitely recommend using them for your travel needs.3 months agoH&S gives us unbeatable price. I m customer for H&S for many years. H&S has best policy to retain and appreciate old or existing customers. Staff is Very knowledgeable have great patience in dealing with customers, always eager to help, co operative and friendly. Employees like Jennifer are assets. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO BE CUSTOMER OF H&S travels. EXELENT SERVICE.4 months agoI have booked a ticket for my MIL with British Airways through H & S Travels. British Airways has cancelled the flight since the international flights from US were cancelled during Covid shutdown. British Airways came through and issued a refund. It is close to 8 months to an year and yet no refund issued by H& S. Every time you call, their response is, the guy you worked with for the booking is busy or away for some personal reasons. They are very poor in responding back too. These folks might have gotten rich with all the free money from airlines refunds and don’t bother to respond. I strongly suggest not to book ticket with them.
