  Fantastic service offered by Karlie. Timely and professional, with a side of great conversation.   Very happy with my cut and stylist, Alex. Comfortable conversation, great setting, good products and no issues with wait time. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wasn’t offered a complimentary drink. It was my first time in so I didn’t realize the first drink was free until reading the other reviews now. Unfortunate because I feel like these are generally built into the pricing so feel a little taken advantage of.

  One of the best haircut experiences I’ve ever had. Staff was very professional, made me feel welcome from the minute I walked in the door. Rafael was excellent, taking his time to make sure every aspect of my haircut was just like I wanted it. I got the 20% off happy hour discount, as I went on a Tuesday between 11am and 2pm.

  I also got 2 complimentary cocktails made to order – the selection was very nice, and the Long Island ice tea I had was well made. My wife also got two free drinks (virgin piña coladas) while she waited for me.

  The haircut did take longer than most – almost 2 hours including the consultation, haircut, shampoo and rinse, nasal hair waxing (worth it), and head and shoulder massage. I don’t usually pay $50 for a haircut, but in this case it was worth every penny. Would definitely recommend.

  First time customer, and will be coming back. Great haircut by Jose. Very professional staff and happy to accommodate. Jose was very detailed and paid very close attention to make sure every part of my hair fell just right. Was worried about the nose wax because it was my first time but there was nothing to worry about, they did it expertly with almost no sensation. Great product selection and friendly atmosphere.

  I’ve tried some really nice barber shops around Dallas trying to find a place that could make my beard look sharp. I read the reviews of Exclusive Men’s grooming so today I gave it a try. Wow the best job anyone has ever done. Freddy was awesome! I saw the other barbers working on clients and they were doing some amazing work as well. I finally found my permanent place!

  Excellent service, amazing vibe, Satisfactory results these three words come to my mind for EMG.

  I can vouch for their Haircut and beard service as I used these services multiple times. Staff is very good they always give personal attention.

  I had haircut with Freddy Palacios and he was amazing. He did great styling and suggested excellent products for my thin hairs.

  Front desk lady Cynthia was very attentive. It was very easy to book appointment using her help.

  Other staff Marco, Dre, Rafael are also very good as I used their services as well. One good thing is I always get same result with any of these staff.

  Don’t forget to take advantage of their Happy Hour offering on Monday and Tuesdays noon time.

  Whiskey while I wait? Free shoeshine? Guest passes? Bought a membership. I’m the guy who always gets a haircut when it’s obviously overdue. They scheduled an appointment for me and sent it to my calendar. Love the atmosphere, I could hang out here with my friends. Literally. Members can reserve the lounge. Friendly staff, top notch stylists, a comfortable bar & lounge, high quality hair & shave products, splurge worthy services, and seasonal networking events for members make it so much than a men’s spa. The 7-course complete with face treatment and massage makes for a great Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

  At first this place was great. Staff is amazing can’t say that about management/owner(s). This would be a place where my best friend would take me and many others, when visiting Texas. Visits there became unpleasant when owner was present. Even tho my friend spent a lot of money in that place the owner always found a way to belittle my friend. The community is what makes you but it can also break you. Something this owner seems to have forgotten. For no one is to big or to small to just be humble.

  Posting this review on behalf of my significant other:

  We’ve searched for sometime to replace our old barber since relocating to Dallas from Chicago and didn’t find a location we were happy with till we met Gale at The Gents Place. Her attention to detail and professionalism is above and beyond. She’s always timely about appointments set, and I swear the fade gets somehow better with each visit (lol). Once a hairstylist knows your hair, I notice the good ones really understand and get every colic to relax perfectly in place. We’re happy we no longer have to go through the pains or stress of finding a new stylist or shop!

  Side note – the type of cut he gets is a fade, with the top half longer, trimmed with scissors. They also take care of your beard and shape it for you in a tasteful way. We have gone to a few other barbers, where one shaved his mustache pencil thin when asked if he wanted it cleaned-up (we asked for a clean-up, not complete reshaping), and we won’t even talk about the fade because the top half that was longer and needed to be trimmed/shaped wasn’t it.
