  While in town for work I needed a good haircut. There are many options in the city and I’m very glad I decided to go with Made Man Barbershop. Ely was my barber and did a great job. He took time to understand how I wanted my hair to look and didn’t rush through the cut. I had a morning appointment and the shop wasn’t too busy. If you did not have time to make an appointment they could probably fit you in with one of their barbers but I’d recommend an appointment ahead of time if possible. If you book online there are a lot of barbers to go with but during my time there I saw a lot of guys come in and out, no one looking disappointed with their cuts so I don’t think you can go wrong with anyone there.
  If I’m back in town and in need of a haircut I’ll definitely be back to Made Man to visit Ely.

  According to the Barber this is the first location and they have been here for a few years. They had to do a massive down size during Covid.
  A long wait but wasn’t bad. They offered beer while I waiting which was nice.
  Small location with a second storefront across the street.
  Very nice place very friendly. Nice conversation.
  Unfortunately “Don’t touch the top of my head” was interpreted as buzz cut my whole head… I had to say just stop. I have to wait a few weeks for my hair to grow back.
  I asked for the works haircut, shave, trim the eye brows, nose hairs, and shampoo clean up after. Was told they don’t do that. But the guy next to me got it.
  Besides the butcher of a haircut the shave was pretty good, not in the top ten for New York City standards but the face massage was one of the best.
  Very nice guys but they did seem busy and over worked.

  Can’t say enough good things about this place, especially Mike. Since my first haircut with him almost a year ago now, he has given me consistently great haircuts. He listens to what I want for the cut and executes to perfection. He is always ready when I get there for my booked appointment and doesn’t feel rushed. I would recommend him to everyone.

  Overall the Barbershop is great too. Nice, clean shop and I love the ability to easily schedule online. Definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a barbershop in the area.

  Was looking for a clean shave and booked a session with Allison. I have a very sensitive skin for razor shaves and I informed about it before they began. Allison knew exactly what to do and gave me the best and most comfortable clean shave I have ever gotten. I will come back for sure again.

  I’ve gone to this place multiple times in the past with no issues however today I went in for a walk-in haircut around a quarter past 1. The barber I had was nice enough but I am not happy with the way he cuts hair. I got my sides cut short, however, he did not properly fade it so now there are distinct lines and patches of hair that was missed with the electric razor. He also does not know when to stop cutting. I wanted about an inch off the top and he even confirmed the length with me before cutting. Before I knew it he took off 2 inches towards the front and even more in the back.

  I liked this place because they were always convenient and could fit in walk-ins but considering how long it will take me to grow out the top again I won’t come back.

  I wish I got his name, but he is a younger guy.

  1/5 for this experience.

  After 6 years of cutting my own hair, I decided to try out a barber again. Now I’m hooked. Jordan is my go-to guy! He’s a master of fades and works efficiently while paying close attention to detail. The experience is easy and ends with a great cut. I love that I can make an appointment online that fits my busy schedule as well.

  Had a great experience here today! Online booking experience was super easy, lots of available times, and you’re able to choose what you’re looking for ahead of time.

  I have long-ish hair and wasn’t looking for a buzz/fade hair cut, just a clean up and trim while keeping some length. I got my hair cut by Adam and he did a great job and told me exactly what he was doing at each step and understood exactly what I was looking for.

  It turned out great and most importantly I got a salon style cut at a barbershop price. I’ll definitely be coming back!

  I got the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten by walking in here. Not to mention it was $45 and he started lecturing me mid cut on my own hair.
