a week agoPaid $40 plus tip for interior/exterior “best” wash. Interior was not dusted whatsoever or wiped down. Tire shine was horribly placed and incomplete on tires. And somehow my back tire left dirtier than when I arrived. Extremely disappointed for the price paid. Will not be returning.a week agoI probably had the top 10 grossest cars in to be detailed. Months of dog hair and ended up having a dead bird in my car? (Left my car window open for the weekend)but they completely made it look nearly spotless around 30 minutes at an AMAZING price.4 months agoI’ll start by saying everyone that I encounter at this carwash is super pleasant & friendly. But everytime I go there, I am disappointed. I specifically asked for my back vents to be wiped down because of the dirt that gets on there when my daughter is in her car seat. I watched 4 people in my car wiping it down at the end. But somehow that and my dashboard look like they weren’t even touched. You’d think for a 35$ carwash I wouldn’t have to clean it myself afterwards. I also tip well and wish I hadn’t now. Bummer because they are really nice people.6 months agoI have been coming to this car wash for years, but the new owners have really stepped up their game. Most car washes do a great job with a standard wash and vacuum, but forget the details like door trims, console, and cockpit. NOT HERE! My vehicle looks amazing! Like it was detailed in 10 minutes. The instrument panel, cupholders, and screen are like new. They also do a great job on my Weathertech mats. They definitely continue to earn my business.a month agoAl and Ali did an outstanding job on my car. I had a full service wash, but honestly it looks like I had it detailed. Staff were friendly and kind and didn’t make me feel embarrassed by my dumpster of a car (thanks to my two lovely children) and my inability to drink coffee in the morning without spilling it everywhere. Seriously it looks like my car is brand new. Would highly recommend.

a month agoI live right down the street from this and was a regular user. After receiving multiple large scratches on my car after using this car wash, I was ignored and pushed away while trying to get in contact with a manager. That went on for over a month before a manager graced me with his presence to tell me there’s no possible way his car wash could’ve caused these scratches. Never again will I use this car wash when there’s plenty better options a mile away.2 weeks agoI’ve been in the area for 5 years now and have the unlimited package. I don’t drive down wet dirt roads and I use Zax because I live on a partial dirt road and I like my vehicles to be clean. They don’t spend any time with the spray prep, when you ask them to spray for bugs they do the driver-side only, apparently bugs do not go on the passenger side. When you ask them to spray the lower rear bumper that never gets cleaned by the brushes they don’t do that either and the car comes out dirty still. Other Zax locations are great (Brighton and Westland). Not looking for a hand washed experience, just want a clean looking vehicle.2 months agoCANT EVEN GIVE THIS ONE STAR!
Took our car through the auto wash and car sustained scratches as a result of the wash. Contacted the manager and asked that the owner contact us to discuss. To date have been unable to discuss with owner who will not call us back.
Pretty certain this isn’t the customer service they should have.a year agoWhen ZAX first opened, it was top notch. My car was always nice and clean, also dry when it came out of the wash. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a good experience the past three or four washes. After the top $20 wash, my car comes out looking like this. There must be an issue with the water pressure or something.3 months agoLamest vacuums EVER! No real suction. Fisher Price makes better ones! Nice feature to have a change machine available but it doesn’t work.

Normally at a “car wash” they use water. especially ones that are $8(!!!!) minimum. Not here though, where they will clean rob you of $8 and do absolutely nothing but dry rub some soap on your car and send you off without a dry(because they don’t use water!!!) What a joke of an establishment. Do better.
Good car wash offers free use of vacuumes with lots of pressure and they have machines to run your car mats through. Wash was average and had to dry water spots off myself as the blowers don’t get all the water and nobody drying for you. Overall its a decent place to bring your car.
I have been using this carwash for over 10 years!
They used to be able to provide a great wash. Lately it’s just ok at best. Many times some of the cleaning “towels” don’t even touch my car, leaving it dirty. The rinse cycle is half dead leaving soap all over the car..
I went to Tommy’s car was the other day.. What a difference!! Get your business back to where it used to be or you will fade into a car wash sunset..
Ususally get my car washed at this place once a week. I spend 21 dollars for the top wash. Today i ran my car through the wash and pulled up to a vacuum. One of the workers started to clean out the vacuum filters with dust blowing everywhere. After that he pulled out a backpack blower and started to blow the debris which got dust all inside my car and outside. Completely ruined my wash and vacuuming I just did in my car. I went to one of the workers and explained what just happened. He staired at my car then walked to the other guy. Never came back and apologized or atleast even offered a courtesy wash. This should be done before opening or when closing!! Not while people are actively coming from getting there vehicles washed!!!
Drive-thru wash is a scam, it does not clean your car, no matter what wash package you purchase. Self service is not too bad, but recently i realized that after 4 minutes, your quarters are only worth 12 seconds. Otherwise, the self serve area is decent. They have higher bay ceilings to account for bigger vehicles and box trucks. Overall, the best part about this wash has been the free vacuums and the cool mat washers.
