    Amanda is AMAZING. I moved back to Winston-Salem from Raleigh about a year ago and have been searching for someone to cut my hair the way my barber in Raleigh has the last 5 years. I tried so many places and one day wandered into Sport Clips because it was so close to my office and I was in a hurry to get a cut and head to the beach for the weekend. Amanda did an amazing job and as a busy professional I love the MVP treatment with the shoulder massage. I’ve gotten more compliments on my haircut than ever and she does a better job than my previous barber. You can’t beat the convenience, quality and the friendliness of the staff. So happy to have found them!

    I have worn my hair in a pixie most of my life. Finding a professional truly trained to cut a perfect pixie has been an ongoing process throughout my life. Somehow I have never been without such a person in my life, but these individuals are in demand and hence relatively mobile during their careers. Gigi at Thruway Sports Clips is my current pixie genius and I hope she never leaves. She has given me many, many excellent cuts and will hopefully continue to do so well into the future. She is a true professional and never disappoints.

    Rhonda is simply put the best hairstylist I have ever used!! I’ve been told I have difficult hair by many stylists and have also had many botched hair cuts that had to be redone as a result. I decided to try this location after having no luck with finding a stylist that could handle a weep executed mullet. That is when I found Rhonda and have gone to her ever since. I have never had a bad experience and thanks to her, my hair is looking better than ever! She is also really great about showing me new products that actually work in my hair. Y’all come on down and give Rhonda a go at your next cut, I promise she will do you right.

    Went yesterday to get cleaned up. Logann did an amazing job with my hair, but what I am most impressed with is her dedication to her clients. She greets everyone with a smile, and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and accepted.

    I have always like the Sport Clips brand and what it represents, but this was by far my best experience. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

    Absolutely perfect experience every time I see Rhonda! Cuts my hair exactly how I want it, makes sure to ask questions throughout the cut to ensure it’s just right. I almost always end up with a cut thats too short or the wrong style with anyone else, but Rhonda will always cut it too long before she cuts it too short because “you can always take more off but you can’t put it back once it’s gone” so if she finishes and I decide I want a little bit more off she doesn’t hesitate to get right back in there and get it exactly how I like it! The app says she has 13 years of experience and it definitely shows in the quality of the cut! Definitely recommend her for anyone that goes here!

    My sisters family has been going to this barbershop for a year now especially for back to school but this time my nephew went and had Brittany do his hair. Unfortunately, the cut did not come out good and although she is very nice it just looked terrible. He came back home and was so upset that he didn’t want to go to school the next day so I called the barbershop back to see if they could fix it and the next appt wasn’t until 5 days later on Saturday in the am. My nephew was refusing to go to school so I decided to take him to another place to get it fixed ASAP. I called Vs to see if I could get a refund since they messed up his hair. The owner called me back and was completely rude and unhelpful about the matter. I understand if a small buisness does not and can not offer a refund but I expected at least an apology or ownership to what his stylist did.

    Came in on vacation and needed a quick cleanup to let me through the holidays and definitely before returning to work. Danny absolutely blew me away with how good of a job he did on my box style fade, lineup, and straight razor shave. And the price for all of that was EXCEPTIONALLY reasonable. 5/5 stars will definitely be saving this location as a future destination anytime im back in the area!

    Comfortable, low-stress environment with friendly staff. Sharon cut my hair, and she listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I requested. Everything from making the appointment to paying for the services was easy and straight-forward. A refreshing experience. I will be back.

    Summary: Inexcusable wait time, thank goodness for Delbert.

    I had an appointment at 3 with Daniel. At 3:30, he was still cutting someone else’s hair. No communication from him on why the delay nor apology for wasting 30 minutes of my time.

    Thankfully, Delbert stepped in and offered to cut my hair after I’d been waiting for half an hour. The haircut was solid and prices seemed fair.

    Will not be coming back, due to the lack of professionalism and waste of my time, but wish the best to Delbert. He’s the reason this review is 2-star instead of zero.

    Don’t get CHRIS BAXTER.

    IF YOU WANT A SOLID BARBER THEN GO TO josh, Austin, Tim, Alex etc pretty much anybody but Baxter.

    Dude gave up on me after 10 mins into the cut then proceeded to say he will have a walk in finish me up. My appointment was set for 35 mins( which was a beard trim and haircut ).

    He tried changing my hair cut 2 different times, telling me it won’t look good that way or it’s not going to settle right that way. Then says I changed it to many times ? Like what!? I showed you what I wanted from the get go. I’ll deal with the hair later. I have gotten the same cut for the last 3-4 years never changed, just added a beard trim now

    He then proceeded to go out and smoke a cigarette after lol.
    must have been having a bad day, but not a reason to not give 100%.

    The main reason for this review is because it was my wedding day weekend. Luckily I got saved from another local barber who had 1 slot left. I would have left a one star review But there are some solid barbers in there

    This is the second time my boyfriend’s gotten his haircut here and both times have been great experiences. He’s made appointments with Alex both times and ended up with great results. Definitely reccomend it!
