2 weeks agoThis is the best car wash chain, and I especially love the Ankeny location over all others. The employees are super nice. The one who wears the white beanie, with curly long hair always has a great attitude, and is super kind. My car always looks 10/10 everytime I leave. ????2 months agoHighly recommend this car wash. This was actually our first visit and it won’t be our last. My girlfriend was very impressed with the vacuums here. Brendan and his crew are awesome. We noticed some fluid draining from underneath our vehicle. But it ended up just being water/soap. We’re really scared but Brandon Crawled underneath the vehicle to make sure everything was OK and it was. I own a few restaurants I know good help when I see it. Brendan needs a raise or at least some kind of promotion. Thank you Brendon keep up the good work.10 months agoHave been here a couple times and have had the same experience each time. (Not sure why I thought it would change).
Bought the highest package each wash. While it does a good job on a large portion of my vehicle, I did not come to just get part of my truck washed. It didn’t even touch my back window. Not impressed.
12 months agoNice car wash. Did a really good job on the sides and tires of my truck. The removal of bugs on the front could have been better. Truck was pretty dirty so giving them the benefit of the doubt. Loved the free vacuums, great suction, good set up.
Will go again and if a better job on bug removal I will be a monthly member.a month agoHad a great experience today. Went through a wash and it looked good but not quite spotless. An employee came by and saw it and said this won’t do. Come around again. I appreciate the customer service and dedication quality! Thanks!

I signed up for a 3-month unlimited car wash deal. I was charged the discount rate for the first month, but then it switched to the full rate (significantly more expensive). I let it slide as I was going to cancel at the end of summer anyway. When I did go back in to cancel, after twenty minutes of computer issues, I was told my cancellation was complete and wouldn’t be charged anymore, great. A week later, my credit card is charged again at full price. I stopped in again and let the employees know my issue. They were unable to do anything about the charge, were impolite and unprofessional and ultimately told me I would have to call the call center to get this charge off my card. I’m now almost forty minutes deep on simply getting off this car wash plan and STILL not resolved. Not impressed.

ANY other car wash AND the vacuums are free!!

Paid for the most expensive wash with all coatings …all they would do is rewash the car wash off all the coatings and they still didn’t remove any of the bugs no scrubbing …do not recommend.5 months agoGreat car wash with a special going on right now. For 9.99 the first month of unlimited washes is a great deal, due to the weather and all. Location is prime only a couple blocks from home, and the soaps and waxes are awesome! So glad I spotted this spot!in the last weekI do NOT enjoy writing this. I have been double-charged for 3 months now & brought the proof with me. First, they don’t apologize. That’s weird, right? Shouldn’t they immediately apologize for the mistake on their end since they owe me $? Second, they refuse to refund my $. Third, you literally can’t cancel in person. They give you a card with a # of their support center written on it. I have literally been on hold for over 30 minutes now listening to bad music and an occasional recording that says: “Your call is very important to us. Please wait for the next available agent. Your call should be answered in approximately 2 minutes. Please hold.” Unless you have a LOT of time on your hands in order to cancel this membership, you should not sign up. I don’t have complaints about the quality of the car wash itself, but the customer service is the worst.

While they did a good job cleaning up my shuttle bus the pressure washer was aimed too closely and over powered that it chipped off my paint in numerous spots. The paint was solid before the wash so there is no excuse for this! Would really like a refund for this since I would rather have a dirty vehicle than chipped paint. I would be very wary to have any kind of rig washed here if you’re concerned about damaging your paint!
UPDATE:
after submitting a complaint the company completely refuses to take any sort of responsibility and instead choose to gaslight me for the damage they caused! There were no paint chips on my vehicle and there are several all around my cab now. At least a refund would have been the least they could do. Never using Blue Beacon again. Very disappointed with this level of not taking responsibility and it’s not just about the money.
In the past I have had pretty good luck with the truck and livestock trailer washed I’ve gotten but…last night was not a good experience. There were several missed spots on the truck and I have to get it washed again somewhere else to have it look decent. The manager was pushing the workers way faster than I’ve seen before and it made all the difference in the quality of work. The side that I couldn’t see (passenger) while they were working on it had an entire panel that wasn’t even touched. I’ll try to find a better place to use in the future to spend my $189.71.

Is my first time to come this truck wash and the service is so good I liked for every trucker go in this place the supervisor is looking truck in parking lot and inspected every truck when is come out to the truck wash him name is JOSH ask for him
Did a fantastic job cleaning & sudsing up my Class B RV. They took care with the finish & got rid of all the bug build up from over 20 days on the road. They were polite & listened to my concerns ahead of time. I would definitely return to this location. 2nd time using Blue Beacon in Altoona, IA!
