5 months agoAs with all DIY car washes I go to, I always get in the longest wait line! I wish someone would figure out a better solution. Other than that it’s a great place, especially on Tuesday when it only costs 50 cents for a wash. $1.50 gets you about 3.5 minutes (can’t remember exactly).6 months agoGreat place but um I learned over all it’s not good to wash your car at places like this cuz the brush will scratch your car4 years agoWell photos speak for them self. Doesn’t apply if you use the “swipe your card” option????a year agoIt’s an ok place for a quick self wash. Get the best for your money on Tuesdays @ 50 cents. Probably get a quick clean for 2 bucks.
Nothing beats using your own elbow grease for the complete wash though.

a week agoI used to love this car wash. They would prewash the bugs off of the front bumper and the bird mess off of the windshield, then they’d spray the wheels to get rid of the brake dust. The machines worked well back then, and it was all followed up with a hand dry that would leave my vehicles clean and dry!
Now it’s akin to what you’d get at a gas station, except the gas station is touch-free and won’t scratch your paint like Mister Car Wash does.
They’ll still prewash if you request it at the gate, assuming someone is at the gate and there isn’t a line, but they don’t offer any of the other services anymore, just the drive-thru wash that leaves my vehicles wet and, in the case of my SUV, leaves the rear gate covered in dirty streaks where the rinse failed to properly rinse and the dryer failed to dry.The staff is great, there’s no debate there! They are a wonderful group and have been nothing short of professional and friendly, it’s corporate greed and cutting corners that ruined this place.
It’s worth noting that with the road construction it has been considerably more difficult to get to the car wash without a long detour, and it often gets backed up. When this happens they have no choice but to pack cars in tight and this reduces the time you can safely remain in the drying area, but this is in addition to the above concerns.
2 months agoThis used to be such a great place to get a car wash. But starting with the pandemic it’s gone hill. They kept cutting and cutting what they offered. Their goal seems to be zero employees. Which would be fine IF a car could truly be cleaned by machines. But it can’t.So here’s the issues I see.
First no more full service washes. It’s just a “drive thru” car wash now. You leave with a wet car. Want your interior cleaned? Do it yourself. Windows cleaned on the inside? That’s yours too.
Second, they no longer scrub bugs off the front of the car and windshield during bug season. You can guess that the wash itself won’t actually remove bugs.
Third, in winter, you can no longer wash salt and dirt off your floor mats (they used to offer this with their full service wash).
They seem to be on nothing more than a cost cutting binge. And finally, they’ve gotten to the point that the wash is no better than any service station’s car wash.
We’ll be cancelling our monthly subscription and looking elsewhere.
It’s a shame. We used to really like the services they offered.
5 months agoAbsolute rip off!! $22.00 for a car wash that is less than adequate! The lowest dollar car wash ($8.00) is no different than the $20.00 one. Oh….but they have free vacuums! Yep! So does every gas station!! Tear the place down in Cottage Grove and put up something useful!! DO NOT go there! Save your money and time!7 months agoThis business is unwilling to work with me, so I feel inclined to share to warn others. If you care about your vehicle, DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH. LOOK AT THE PICTURE BELOW.I just purchased a vehicle that WAS in mint condition and bought the membership package at this Mr. Car Wash location to maintain my vehicle. I used this wash two times before, and after the third, I was drying my truck and noticed a deep, foot-long scratch on my hood. I contacted management, and she said she would inspect the wash. I never heard back from her, so I reached out a week later, and she said she found nothing out of the ordinary. I am an automotive mechanic, and my brother-in-law is an autobody technician. It is apparent this was caused by the vertical mat that swipes back and forth, left to right.
Management refuses to take any responsibility, and now I am on my own for the repair.
If you want to vacuum in 20-degree weather or trash your vehicle, this is the place for you.
2 years agoThis time, my experience wasn’t great at a mister car wash. There were multiple spots missed inside my vehicle. The exterior was cleaned well by the machine, but the missed spots where not wiped down, including the entire back window that looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned at all. There were also mud splatters on my drive seat. I noticed them after I left due to mud getting on my jacket from the sitting on it. The seats had clearly not been touched or wiped down in any way and actually got dirtier through the process. The mats where left in the vehicle covered in mud, they had also been skipped. I understand that the facility is trying to limit time inside vehicles due to covid. But, that doesn’t mean sacrificing quality. Especially not with the cost being higher than it was prior to covid. I will give it one more try, but so far I am not impressed.

My first time ever coming here and the last. I asked the guy who was vacuuming my vehicle that for the the full service I did I would get it fully vacuumed and interior wiped down etc. Another guy comes over and was like yes, we will do it all with the full service package you bought… I get in ask the girl wiping down how I get my cup holders cleaned out… she said that’s not in your service… I said the guys at the front said because I bought the full service package I would get everything. She shrugged and walked away. No time for businesses like this. Would not recommend.
Very impressed with the team at paradise. They did an excellent job removing paint from the carpet, mat, metal body underneath carpet, wires, clips, seat track and whatever else paint got on involving the spill. This was not a small amount of paint in fact it was an entire gallon of oil based paint the lid popped off and it poured out all over underneath the driver seat. On short notice they were able to get me in and do the absolute best they could and did amazing. Thanks for the damage control and great service!
I will be going in and hopefully just for a regular detail down the road.
Love Paradise Car Wash! Consistently great. Equipment always working correctly and staff does a great job executing all they do. Staff does thorough hand dry – always happy when I leave there.
Was gifted a Classic detailing package gift card for Christmas; used it back in May. I had never had an interior detailing done for my 2012 Buick, and it really needed some TLC. I believe the young man who worked on my car that day was Noah. He did a terrific job! I found a couple very minor things that were missed when I got home, but overall he made my car look next to new again and I was (am) completely satisfied.
Preface: I ran a retail store in the pandemic so I know what short staff means. I recently had my van brought in here and was initially very happy on the surface what I had scene. However a few days after getting home we noticed the sliding door cupholders were never cleaned out and the middle console cupholder as well. On top of all that I am missing a floor mat to my Van which I did not notice till later because we had to let the carpets dry and they were bundled up.
I called once I noticed and had to leave a message with the front desk. No problem. Was told the manager was busy cause they were short staff. Totally get it, again retail. Waited 2 days no call.
Called again left a message and asked when I could get a call back this time since I did not get one the last time. Lady at the front desk said I will personally put it on my managers desk. He is busy to to being short handed. Ok I understand things happen thanks.
4 days go by and still nothing. Its my wife’s car so was not top of mind. Called yet again, spoke to the same lady at the front desk told her who I was and that I needed to speak to the manager again. He was in the car wash because someone was running late. She said he would call me the second he gets out. She even saw my second call note on his desk still.
Here I am still 2 days later no call. I understand being short handed but this is beyond egregious and quite frankly unprofessional. Things happen I get it but not only did I not get my moneys worth but also I am missing a floor mat. Hopefully this will get somebody’s attention or at least forewarn others from going here.
