a year agoWe come here in the summer when ever we both have a weekend off. Just come with cash for some reason every time we come here their debt card machine is down $10 bucks per vehicle. Also it’s pretty shallow water for about 100 feet from the beach. Great for small children who can’t swim almost about maybe 3 feet deep. It was windy and I liked the right weather. a pleasure trip2 weeks agoWe just hung out at the free beach for 2 days in a row and had a blast! Great beach for smaller kids since it isn’t as deep. Will definitely be back!3 weeks agoReally great family friendly beach. I would do a 4.5 if I could! Shallow water with tons of sand bars. Good close parking. An adult beverage shack.
The only thing I would have loved fixed was the women’s showers. Out of 5 only 1 was working when we went in yesterday evening. Sooo nice to be able to rinse off before you head out.
$10 fee for entry or $40 for the year. They stopped collecting fees after 7 pm on Friday2 weeks agoEverything was so clean, and my kids really loved it here. This was my first time here. I’ve always didn’t pay, but never stopped until this past weekend. Best decision ever. Exceptionally clean beach, not over crowded, and perfectly safe swim area for toddlers and younger kids. First time I’ve been to the beach and I didn’t have to worry about my kids, and was able to thoroughly enjoy myself. There is also a playground, a small bar with a stage for love bands, good clean restrooms and showers, picnic tables and tiki covers.
Great park! They have a sandy beach with very few waves and current. It’s great for smaller kids. There are many covered picnic tables throughout, as well as restrooms, showers, and all the seagulls you’d like to feed. It is $10 for the day or $40 for an annual pass. No dogs allowed.
The location of Rockport Beach Park is simply stunning. Nestled along the Texas Gulf Coast, the park boasts breathtaking views of the sparkling waters, sandy beaches, and coastal landscapes. The scenic vistas provide a sense of tranquility and serve as a perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The park itself is exceptionally well-maintained, showcasing the efforts of the dedicated staff. The sandy shores are clean, inviting, and ideal for sunbathing or leisurely strolls. The lush vegetation, including palm trees and native plants, adds to the park’s charm and creates a tropical ambiance. The facilities, such as picnic areas, restrooms, and parking, are all kept in excellent condition, ensuring convenience for visitors.
A beautiful beach with a playground for children, ideal for spending a good weekend. In general, the beach is clean. We love coming to rockport.

It was our first trip to this beach and it was lovely. Very clean and great for families. We didn’t explore the entire grounds but there were portable restrooms available for use. To my surprise they were fairly clean.
