What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I bought it yesterday and checked the expiration date while eating with my kids today. Please do not sell products that have passed their expiration date.

  2. Pay your employees more and hire more staff!!! I’m having a bad day. I didn’t have a loonie on me so I carried my basket around and had to buy less items. Had to pass on things I needed. We all know how reusable bags are forgotten and so I didn’t have one of my 30 reusable bags with me. The only ones you can buy are also reusable, no thank you. They don’t even offer paper which I can use as a compost bag at home. I started to tear up because I’m going through a tough time in general. The woman working the self checkout was so so kind to me so that’s the reason there’s an extra star. I tried telling customer service she was great and the woman working was like, “okay well on your receipt is a survey…” and I got the feeling I was bothering her. Like this place doesn’t provide free carts, paper bags, and will not accept feedback. This is a HUGE WEALTHY COMPANY. I know it’s Walmart… I get it but come on. Some human to human contact and exchange of words would have been nice and I probably wouldn’t be writing this right now. Pay your employees more and hire more staff so your employees have the time to do this stuff. Come on.

  3. It’s disappointing when your cashier doesn’t acknowledge you, has a negative conversation with another employee as she is scanning our items and we have to lead the conversation with how we want to pay and saying goodbye. Service was very poor and the cashiers should be coached on how to provide proper polite customer service.

  4. Sent this review to the main site October 3rd but don’t think it was forwarded to Fort Saskatchewan Walmart:
I need to share my experience at Walmart in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
    I was shopping October 2, around 15:00.
Went to check out my small amount of items at till 5 or 6 and a guy ahead of me had many items on the belt. He asked the cashier to ring me through first. I told him to go ahead, I wasn’t in a hurry and appreciated his offer.
The young lady at the till rang his items through without hitch and when she rang my items through she apologized for the wait. It wasn’t a wait for me. She was quick and showed customer appreciation.
Having tills open and the service this young lady displayed left me with a smile.
So nice to see this service again.
    Regards,
    Arnie
    Update: March 2023.
Seems this store now (actually most Walmart stores) wants us to work for them by using self check out.
When I see only one cashier on duty with a long line up I will turn around and shop elsewhere.
I am not a Walmart Employee to check out my own items.
This holds true for any store I shop at.

  5. The store seemed unorganized. Went there to buy receiving blankets because my baby granddaughter was born earlier that day. After at least a 20 minute focused search couldn’t find. The distracted search, in baby girl stuff, I was finally able to find somebody to help me look. She couldn’t find any either. After thanking her for her help, I did find some right where we’d been looking. No pink or yellow or green just dark blue and some weird sand color. Nothing cutsie like receiving blankets should be. But had to buy since they were needed.
