I was in this area and decided to pick up a few things from this upper James Walmart location, as I have been out on the road since morning decided to use the washroom after finishing my shopping to my surprise the I entered washroom unit removed my undergarments as a habit before sitting down I checked for toilet paper empty a place to hang my bag is broken the door does not lock properly shame on the manager that runs the store I had to pick up my stuff wait for another unit to be free. 🙁🙁… I wanted to speak with the store manager so I went to customer care and ask if I could speak with the manager the woman told me wait CSM see you soon as possible waited for about 6 minutes no one came to meet me the woman I talked to did not bother to ask me if she could help me.. it’s very disappointing that person’s working has no passion for what they are doing. I hope the store manager take time to read this review honestly I shouldn’t have to write this message since I couldn’t speak to the manager directly I have no choice but to let people know the condition.

  2. Purchased a gift card from this location for a family member and when they opened it there was a fake card inside. It was opened in a Walmart in front of staff so she was reimbursed. I would just use cation when purchasing gift cards from this location (specifically Visa cards that are packaged with the gift card inside) update: Managed to speak with someone after days of waiting and giving up. They are aware and offered no assistance just said yes we are aware and thank you for letting us know.

  3. Absolutely awful customer service. Ordered scent free baby wipes and they delivered me scented wipes that my baby cannot use. Customer service refused to rectify the situation, other than to tell me I should go back to the store for a refund. I have items delivered for CONVENIENCE and now I am doubly inconvenienced because I have no wipes and have to drive to the store for a refund. I’ll just order from Amazon next time because their customer service is great.

  4. I was in the printing some photos today and the machine was not printing. A very nice young man had taken my money then tried to get it to print. He went to one person and still nothing. He at that point called over his manager who through the whole thing was more concerned about drinking his beverage… . Anyway the manager was very rude and berating to the young man while I was standing there. I have worked in customer service my whole life and never have I seen such a obnoxious manager in my life. I did apologize to the young man for getting him into trouble. It made me want to leave all my purchases right there and leave to never return. This took place at store #3037 at 16:24:31. The manager was a larger fellow with greying hair and beard, I have the receipt if you need more information but I am seriously considering shopping else where. Thank you in advance for looking into this.

  5. This store has really bad customer service. I tried calling the store multiple times and was left waiting for more then half hour and not getting anyone to pick up the phone to do a stock check. Went on the website to check stock of baby formula and it said in stock. My wife went to grab some and when she got there it was sold out. This is why I don’t like going to Walmart these days. I will be calling head office to open door this store. Unacceptable!

    Absolute disgrace to visit this walmart today. Felt like a second class citizen while interacting with the customer care staff at this location. Went for a simple return of the item and left with a disturbed state of mind. The lady though senior (23 years in Walmart) plainly refused to do the return. Bought the items 2 weeks back unfortunately the ink on the receipt vanished hence didn’t took with me. I already got one item returned last month but the lady Anna at the counter said it can’t be possible. I asked her to scan and check the item sold date she said No it didn’t work like that. Called the manager and the moment she came she blasted us with accusations of mistreating her employees. Even if your staff is experienced, it didn’t give them the license to not listen to the customer. The manager finally got the item returned but with an attitude of doing us a favour. It was my money not the Walmart, you are not doing any favour by accepting the return item. It would be better to train your staff to listen to the customer rather than accusing them as aggressive.

    I will never order on you online website. We ordered a Christmas tree but it’s not lite and decided to return. At the customer service there was a Samantha what a racist . Before l said anything she was just rude and said we don’t return Christmas trees here. Then l had to explain my self that l bought it online in Walmart website. You should have seen how crazy she was. We are accepting that from you because that’s not from Walmart. She told me google the the company and talk to them . She actually refused to give me her name until l asked for the manager Mark who was just as useless until another lady who works there heard the commotion, she is the one who provided us with their phone number to call. Why Walmart sell stuff on their website and would not want to take responsibility. Do Not Buy anything From Walmart online. Now the company is telling us to pay for shipping. Crazy to deal this company.

    Went to Walmart on a crazy Saturday. Was busy as expected. They had everything we needed so a one-stop shop which is always nice. We went through the self check. I understand that there are some people who may try to steal via self check, but not us. We’re pretty honest people. Anyway, one of the attendants comes over to help with some loose cans of cat good, which wasn’t really needed and didn’t save us time, but whatever. During this im holding an item in my hand which she accuses me of trying to put in one of our scanned bags without scanning…I mean I’m waiting for her to get finished with the cat food so yeah obviously I hadn’t scanned it yet but was waiting patiently. She looks at the screen and says oh that chicken isn’t scanned, which it was, and we pointed it out on the screen. Then she says it’s the wrong price…which it wasn’t and again we pointed at the package with the lrice on it…. Anyway, it was an overall poor experience. But yeah, they’ll usually have what you need jn stock at this location

    100%+++. I feel badly for the others here who had bad experiences, though. When I went, it was a Thursday afternoon. The store is truly stunning. Well organized, clean, with items I haven’t seen in decades. The biggest selection of items as well. It felt like I was back in the late 1990s. The BEST Walmart I’ve seen ANYWHERE. I think early mornings and mid-afternoons, midweek, for older people in the Hamilton region might be best. The staff were friendly. The customers were friendly. I’ve been avoiding Walmarts these past couple of years because they feel like FEMA camps. Especially up in Ancaster. But this location turned out to be a gem. Please try it.

    Pharmacy – have dealt with this Pharmacy for years. The Pharmacists and staff go out of their way to assist, care for and advise as well as actually filling scripts for me and my family. Don’t know what we’d do without them. In an increasingly complex world with multiple issues, we are so very glad that they’re at this location for us.

    Not worth even one star. Today at 12:55pm was shopping at store. I witnessed old employee yelling very loud at Jr. Employee in front of 5 cust. I told him to stop yelling at employee. He also had fist raised at employee. Hearing woman’s voice he told me to shut up. Well I was shaken up but had to exit store. It ruin my day and ended my weekly shopping routine. I will never shop there ever again. I suspect he was manager and felt very sorry for employee.

    If there was a 0 star option that’s what I would be giving. Whoever hires the plane clothes men who stand at the cash confronting guests who may I add have to do your job after 8pm I guess needs to hire less trashy people. Because we moved so.ething out of the way before scanning them they accused us of stealing. A family with multiple children with them. We came our of our way to come here because we thought it was a better walmart but I won’t make that mistake again…. Maybe make sure you can employe cashiers and keep a stock of bags and stop harassing people who are paying hard earned money. We left the parking lot at 8:54. To never return

    Visited the store today only to find once again no carts available. Shoppers have to go and search the parking lot for a cart. Overheard a manager tell a customer it is because they have employees who don’t do their jobs. I would say it is the manager not doing those job. Why are the employees not doing their job and what is the manager doing about it.

    Missed my bus because they lock the side closest to Rymal 5 mins before they close. No employees told me it was closed, only the man at the door it’s self rudely yelling “door closed door closed!” When I told them this caused me to miss my bus they didn’t seem to care. Moral of the story: plastic bags are bad! Fight climate change! But we prefer customers who drive to our store (as shown by locking the side closer to the bus stops first.

    Washrooms are disgusting. Always filthy and no TP, especially in the men’s washrooms! Complaints made at customer service. Their response…”not my problem, talk to the manager, oh but he’s not in”!
