What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. An average, overcrowded Walmart that needs to expand eventually if it plans to welcome more customers. The place is jam-packed over the weekends, and on regular days, it’s also busy since this is the only location in town with prices that beat their competitors. Walmart is an all-right place to shop for your household needs, but try going in the morning or afternoon, as it tends to get busy after that, and you may not find stock for what you need.

Employees have always been pleasant and sound, as far as I could tell, and I’ve yet to have any significant issues at Walmart or with their representatives.

  2. Perfect place to shop for groceries. Cheaper when bought in bulk.

Sometimes, a few specific items get out of stock for quite a few days/ even weeks (maybs its supply chain issue).

But other than that, they have got variety of options at different price ranges for all types of groceries. They even have international aisle with items from all over the globe.

I haven’t shopped Garments there so can’t comment about that.

The only 1 negative is the downhill pathway from mall to walmart which is quite dangerous for walking individuals especially with snow. Well, that’s Government’s job to ensure the pathways are maintained, walking Customers may face some inconvenience getting there.

  3. I have never seen the like, went to store for n Charlottetown pei yesterday and no carts to use apparently they were getting some I was told, went into today 15 minutes after store opened to get my groceries and no carts again and your greeter was telling other customers that they had no one to get them, went to customer service desk and told the girl there were no carts, I hung around and 20 minutes later I left as did the other persons as still no carts, the worst customer service I have ever had, will not waste my time going back

  4. Went in the other day with my partner, dropped over 300 on groceries packed it all up in our bags in self check out and before getting to leave self check out 3 employees stopped us ransacked out bags holding our slip making sure we scanned everything only to find out that we did scan all of our products and left all or our stuff off to the side and all walked away saying nothing, no helping us pack all of our stuff up, no stopping other people in the self check outs that had twice as much stuff in there carts not stopping the people who walked passed the censors THAT WENT OFF only by partner and I? What makes it worse is one of them talking to a 4th coworker pointing at our cart saying somthing in another language and LAUGHING then quickly looked away after noticing I was looking at her. I understand wanting to make sure people pay for items but stop us if the censors go off thats what there there for. And better yet maybe help us put away our stuff in the bags you all took out. We had Meat, dairy and frozen food that we had to wait to put in our thermal bags for a half hour while the staff there looked thru our stuff. Over 300 dollars to be harassed by your staff because why? We are beyond livid and EMBARRASSED with how we got treated. We’d be more inclined now to drop double the money at sobeys for groceries we need or go all the way to the Summerside location if it ment not getting EMBARRASSED by the employees at the Charlottetown location. The customer service at that store is horrendous

  5. I would put 0 stars if it would let me. Do not use this store. They lost 200 dollars of groceries for delivery and refuse to resend it. I am forced to wait a week for the refund before I can get my groceries because the driver marked it as delivered. So they refuse to send me my food. I cant afford to buy it again. I dont know if you can afford to buy food twice because the store messed up. But I dont think shopping at a place like that is a good idea.
