This was the Walmart supercenter in Granby if I remember correctly and it’s the standard Walmart and it’s the big sized one that has absolutely everything. If I wasn’t going to be on the road in the hot weather for the next 5-6 hours I would have bought their fresh fruits and vegetables cuz it all looked very good.
I was kind of zapped out by the general background sounds of a huge place and a bit of an agoraphobic reaction to the size and depth of it all and we quickly left after checking out a couple of things and went back out into our country drive. But it’s a great environment out there and it’s a big juicy Walmart store. 👍❤️😍👍🏿👍🏾👍🏽👍🏻👍
Lots of products. Nice to see clothes above 2x (Walmart cowansville rarely has 2x or above). Not much variety in the gluten free and organics though. The baking aisle layout feels like a warehouse instead of customer facing.
Never going back to this Walmart again… worse service we have ever gotten!!! The lady at customer service as we were trying to get a Walmart credit card was very disrespectful to my 70 year old grandmother who knows very little French but tries to speak it… my grandmother had, had a hard time to understand what she was saying so asked her if she spoke English a little and she told me to translate to her that she is not paid to speak English.. that we live in Quebec
I moved to Granby 1 year ago and for the first time after 12 years in Quebec, I felt Racism.
Often employees will just assume that I speaks Spanish. Well I dont, I am Brazilian! And even when I say that J speak Portuguese, the answer is: well, same thing!
The elderly women and other employees too will let white folks pass by the door, but often they will check my bill to make sure that I didn’t stole anything.
Or you check everyone’s bill, or you don’t. This is embarrassing.
The place is good for groceries but be careful with expiry dates. Expired milk was on the shelf.
