I’ve had a lot of anxiety, having only really ever had dogs and cats, but every question I came to them with theu were utterly happy to answer and give their own experienced stories on! Little Bam-Bam started eating today finally, after two calls and a lot of worry, and they were all so so patient with me! Would 100% suggest these guys. Jenny up at the registers is also just amazing. She’s always smiling and happy, with a different little silly headband every time we see her. Scheduled an appointment for our cat to be groomed and upon arrival before even looking at the cat I was told that they may not be able to do a full cut. After they took the cat out of the carrier and placed him in a leader which he began to try to play with, I was told that he was too feisty and then they could not complete his cut that I needed to go to a vet and have him sedated to be cut. If your groomers are afraid of cats, then you probably shouldn’t offer cat grooming.By chad green (a month ago)Banfield is terrible! Our school came in with some special needs students and she acted like we were going to rob the place. She just kept staring at our students, one of them said his name and wanted to shake hands, she just put her nose up and walked away.We will not go to the East store again, the west store is always pleasant and so friendly to our students. Actually went to the dog park behind the Humane Society. My dog loved being able to run around and not having to drag his human Handler by his leash. I, however, wish there were things for the dogs to do other than run around in an empty fenced in area
I’ve now gotten 2 furbabies from them. Always super helpful and the process is super easy. Love both of my fur children and would recommend them for finding your own
I had to surrender my dog in august of 2022. When I was able to re adopt him I called and called and called. No call back. No one ever picked up the phone. It’s ridiculous how many times I’ve called trying to get ahold of these people. So for anyone in the reviews that happens to know if a mixed breed dog (husky mix looking) named Otto was adopted please reach out.
Kansas “Humane” society euthanized a dog we had on hold to adopt. We spent almost 2 hours with a sweet, qentle, leash trained dog that loved to fetch a ball and was only 5 years old. It took treats gently from your hand, didn’t jump on you, and respected your space. It had only been there a few weeks. It was on hold for a week of that time waiting for us to adopt it due to kennel cough symptoms. I called multiple times during the week to inquire about taking the dog home. We tried desperately to take it home. We returned today, talked to staff, and saw him in the adoption window. Instead of taking him home, we were told he was euthanize while we were there! We will not be returning. There appears to be a significant lack of communication among staff and with potential adoptive families. Euthanizing a dog due to shelter stress is not humane.
