I went shopping the day before having an exam in which it was stipulated that I had to have an external webcam to my laptop and a microphone, so, being short on cash, I went to my local Walmart on Wendover Avenue in Greensboro and brought a webcam that was assured to me would be just what I needed and easy to install and operate. WRONG! Trusting the sales rep as I did, foolishly, I woke up from a tiring day at 10pm and decided to go ahead and download the necessary software for my exam the next morning, but, much to my suprise, there was no software. That meant, no exam for me the next day and, even worse, I now have to undergo a prolonged waiting period before I can reschedule this exam again. Way to go Walmart, you totally messed my life up, as now I have to reschedule and replan my whole goal in reaching a life long goal I am striving for. Never will I ever shop again for anything so important as this again, my bad, at Walmart. Also, what in the world are they thinking, selling products that you can’t use because they don’t have the needed software to download so that the products can actually be used! Are you really that desperate to rob people of their money that you do this knowing the products people buy are essentially useless?????? Pictures by Klacey’s Photography.

I haven’t been to this location in years and I was quickly reminded as to why. There were no carts, the store is filthy, I waited over 15 minutes for someone to unlock a case and they never showed. I asked another employee if they could do it and they told me two locations I could fine the employee to do it. I’m not chasing Simone down so they could do their job. We left there went to Target, and even my four year old granddaughter commented how much nicer and clear Target is over Walmart. I will spend the extra money for the cleanliness, comfort and safety in the future.

I like being able to shop and get most of my stuff in one place. And a few people there are very nice. My biggest complaint is that I don’t understand why the employees just stand around looking at you while they get paid to force people to use the self checkout! Open the registers. It’s faster to get people checked out. I really would appreciate it.

Very clean, shelves look good with product put up the right way. There were quite a few things out of stock but nothing I was needing && this is also expected these days . Only thing I don’t like, and this is at many Walmart stores, is that self checkout closes at 9 and there were only 3 lanes open (many employees around though) and pretty long lines. Other than that, all was good.

Well… I have been to this place more than once but have not return until today. I needed printer ink which Target did not have. My pictures show from that o can tell, the first Walmart that locked up mostly everything on the electronic section.

There were two registers manned. Which is a good thing and the line moved. I did talk to the manager after purchasing my printer ink and she seem young and nice. My cashier was also young and handled my request in a good manner. I did had an issue with one staff member blowing me off but she handled it.

I didn’t checked out the rest of the store.

Very nice Walmart. Super spacious and courteous and helpful staff all along. Nice display of stuffs there. Unfortunately there is no souvenir for you.

It’s a Walmart! They’ve got everything, (except the paint canvases I was looking for), but that’s okay! Still a pleasant place to shop. Busy though when I went!

This is, honestly, a split for me. To me, it is the worst Walmart to go inside and shop. Lines are usually very long, it’s typically pretty crowded, and the general atmosphere is unfriendly. Parking, especially for the disabled, is a nightmare. Seriously, if the cops patrolled here, they’d get to write a fair amount of tickets for this.
But the good, the pickup is usually GREAT! Most of my experience there has been excellent. The employees are kind, friendly, and helpful. Sometimes there is a long wait, but usually they’re pretty quick. If I have to go here even just for a few items, I rather do pickup and never have to go inside.

Seems to be a very popular location, so it’s a little chaotic inside. The lines to checkout were pretty long, but the self checkout at least moved quickly.

We went to look for a charcoal grill which is a little out of season, but we didn’t expect them to not have any. That’s a very specific ask, but they had everything else we were looking for.

It wasn’t the cleanest place either, but I assume that’s due to the popularity.

Clean, lightly scented restrooms. Store is clean too. Also, the parking lot attendant picks up trash in the parking lot.

Except 1, all the employees were nice and helpful, even offering assistance without me asking.

Biggest drawback is their lack of stocked shelves. The app kept showing items were in stock in the store, but the shelves were nearly bare — not containing the product or anything similar.

Many shelves are missing common items.
For example, the office section has poster board, but only multi-colored poster board. Not basic colors like black or white. Also, lots of basic items, like engine oil and light bulbs are locked up so you have to find a staff person.

Also, only 2 self checkouts were open and 1 line with a cashier. I advise going before 7am.

Walmart has really gone down hill. The signs on the store say they close at 11:00 and the google location says 11:00. However, they close the doors 15 minutes early. That’s poor advertising. Why don’t you just be honest and say we close at 10:45. Even the security couldn’t explain how the sign says “closed at 11:00”, but they closed the doors early. You should be able to count on the convenience.

I guess that’s why it’s better to shop on Amazon! At least, I’m probably not coming back to this location. I thought it was one of the better ones.

1/9/23. Independence and Sharon Amity location.

There is nothing Super about this Walmart.

Great place, very clean, pharmacy closes from 1:30 to 2:00 for lunch, parking lot a lil bit crazy but for the most part its a great place.

This is the worst Walmart I have ever been to. There are pallets of unopened shipments down every aisle. I needed to get down a shoe aisle and you can’t even go down the aisle because the pallets are taking up the whole thing. It is very difficult to shop here when you are constantly unable to get where you need to go.

Well, to make this short, sweet, and concise, this is by far one of THEE WORST Walmarts I have been to PERIOD (actually, most of the Walmarts in CLT suck).

    1) The store never has items in stock and if they are, it’s out of place and incorrectly priced.

    2) The staff makes you feel as if you are bothering them when you ask for assistance and that they are doing YOU a favor. In my mind I’m saying “you are getting paid for this”!

    3) The store can’t control this, but the other patrons and the overall area makes me feel unsafe.

    4) The store’s cleanliness is definitely WAaaaaY below average. Please keep it more sanitary.

Overall, it’s just not organized, clean, and a lot of the staff are unprofessional and not helpful at all!

    Please do better!

I’m currently at Walmart right now an oil change and the only reason why I’m still here is because I refuse to neglect my car because of the people who work in the store stupidity I was just in the store and when I came out from my purchase I realized can I have my car keys so I go back in Walmart to the service desk and I asked them to report my keys being missing over the intercom my response was okay so I walked back through the area where I was at realized that they haven’t said anything over the speaker yet therefore I had to walk back to the service desk remind you that I need two knee replacements so I’m limping and my legs and knees are hurting badly I asked supposedly the manager or whoever why wasn’t anything said about my keys over the intercom and she tells me we can’t do that if anybody find the keys they will bring them up to the service desk and I was telling her I don’t doubt that but here’s my thing if somebody’s hurting like me they may not come forth with the keys until they’re through shopping because I know I wouldn’t and then the other thing is nobody knows to be out on the lookout for some kids if they’re not aware that some is missing letting someone know that some keys is missing can speed the process of because Walmart is not my favorite place where I want to hang out all day this is the moment that I say Lord I thank you for My Big mouth because I had to go around with my big mouth asking has anybody seen any keys and I said that twice and my keys came up I once was valued customer at Walmart but after today it has changed because I will no longer spend my money at a place that doesn’t respect my concern or neglect my issue and that’s really sad it makes me feel that my money is not appreciated it makes me feel not appreciated and there is plenty and better places that would appreciate my money then Walmart showed me today. I hope that this never happens to anyone else because all the Walmart employee was doing was gossiping and holding someone else’s baby in the store instead of trying to help me find my keys. I can’t begin to tell you how I feel when this happened and I know that we have a lot of senior citizens that visit Walmart and that’s why it’s viral that I put this out there because I really hope that nothing like this happens to someone else’s mom or grandmother thank you have a blessed day bye the lady who had a bad day at Walmart and refuses to return

If I could give 0 stars, I would!!!!! You go in and need assistance to get an item and NO ONE comes to help. Several associates walk by, some say “she should be here” in referred to who’s working in electronics, and finally 1 person calls for someone. No one came!!! Then, you decided to call before going since that’s the only store that has what you need in stock. No one answers! This store needs to do better! The last time I needed assistance with something heavy and no one came. They need a new store manager or the store manager needs to get on the associates for not doing their jobs. There should be more that 1 person who can help and I should be able to walk in at any time and receive assistance from anyone. I get being short staffed but that wasn’t the problem since there were many sitting around. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Long wait times. Some people are waiting 2 to 3 hrs. Poor customer service. Everyone has attitudes. If managers has attitudes, everyone else will too. Stay away from this store!!!!!

The store is usually clean but greeters are not well educated on service dogs public access and there are only 2 riding carts so I have to ride my power wheelchair 2 miles just so I have a power chair to do my shopping in and 2 miles home..yesterday Dec 5 I waited 45 mins at customer service for my curbside pickup order and checked in at 400 pm blank parking spot blank car color and had to be taken back to curbside customer support just to be told how busy they were and they would get to me when they could my pickup time was 3 to 4 pm I got there at 4 pm they should have got to me quickly but I didn’t want to sit outside in a wheelchair ♿️ in the rain so I was made to wait an hour and they claimed they didn’t have all my items but when I shopped I found them on the top shelf so I stood on my chair it was powered off and got my product down and purchased what they said they were out of same thing in frozen food said they were out but were not! 1 star for curbside service .

I enjoy shopping at this Wal-Mart. It’s always clean, orderly, and fairly well stocked most of the time. The workers are friendly. Pharmacy staff work well together keeping line down and moving. I would recommend this walmart store.

My experience was horrible! I went in to make a purchase that was in a locked case. I asked 4 store associates if someone could unlock it so I could make the purchase. They didn’t have a key but assured me they would page someone with a key to help me.

No one showed up for about 30 minutes. Customer service was able to get a manager who again assured me that someone would meet me at the locked case.I had to speak to 4 associates, a manager and a Walmart coach to get some assistance and took approximately 45 minutes to make what I thought was going to be an “in and out” purchase! That’s ridiculous!

I bet if I was stealing something, they would have been “Johnny on the spot “!!!

I consistently hate walmart. Self checkout sucks. Customer service sucks. The sheer mass of humanity you have to wade through sucks. The only reason I go is because they’re the only one stop shop in town that consistently have everything we need for grocery shopping. Speaking of consistency however their produce consistently goes bad long before the expiration date gets close so we always have to plan meals accordingly or get the produce from elsewhere.

Got this lighted led curtain for the doorway. Very pleased. Also got the cutest bathing suit for my nieces birthday and a cute pair of pants for $2! And found a watch & matching bracelet on clearance and a few other items that were needed at home. Super pleased with the gift for my niece, the lighted curtain and watch set.

I had a good experience. I had to for a good price in my opinion to be a smart TV. And 1080 pixels. The only bad thing was I did not think to take a book back to the back with me. So I had to carry the TV all the way to the front but I paid for it at the back. I still give them four stars. And by the way for me to give a place five stars you have to be excellent even above.
