  I know I’ve complained about this Walmart in the past because of the lack of a check out experience, but I will say of all the Garden Centers at Walmart in this area, the Garden Center at Walmart in Western Branch is amazing. The cashier back there is very helpful and friendly. I will admit during the first visit there were two men (Walmart employees) who watched me struggle to load the grill into my SUV. Thankfully, one of the young women teamed up with me to get it done. On my second visit to pick up another grill the cashier made sure to get me help and he was very pleasant.

  The assembled grill is such a convenience that I bought one for several people in the family. I did visit other Walmart stores and the process you had to go through to get the grill assembled was way too much. Walmart should do more for those who go above and beyond. Whoever it is that goes the extra mile to assemble these things, a big hat off to you sir and thank you. Your diligence not only allowed me to pick up a few myself but to tell my friends and by the end of the weekend the 7 assembled grills were down to 1.

  Store was poorly stocked, a lot of bedding merchandise was out of stock selection was much smaller in health& beauty section. Even the grocery side had empty shelves, men’s underwear section had nothing to pick from , a few days before black Friday.I am wondering if they have black Friday merchandise to sell??

  I spent much time here before the incident but I have been held up at the receipt check unit a manager tried to tell me I was stealing my own big brand bag! Also I would never use a Walmart Rx because it takes a long time.

  I drive 18 wheelers over the road. Go here to get loaded. Just curious asked the guy,” why is this Walmart closed?” He goes on to tell me a nightmare. The manager of this store shoot and killed several employees. 😪 God be with those families. So sad. I Googled it. 💔 truly heart breaking

  Always have a lot of stuff! Well stocked! Last visit I got everything I needed, and stuff I didn’t even know I needed! The staff is nice and helpful!

  Only negative I have about this place is going after dark. About a year ago I was followed around by a drunken homeless man inside the store. He later tried to follow me to my car. I’m a short and small person and didn’t feel safe. My friends and I let one of the greeters know what was going on and they escorted us to my car, intercepting him when he tried to come after us. It hasn’t happened again since but I now refuse to go there after dark just in case.

  My wife and I went to buy a fresh Christmas tree and they had a beautiful one on display. my wife wanted it. I asked if we could take it and the manager Mohammed said that there would be no problem.
  That was great customer service. People like him make a difference in customer service.

  Good place. Could use more working motorized carts for mobility-challenged shoppers. My friend had trouble finding a Charged up battery and usable cart.

  This Walmart is a great place to visit. It’s clean, and always stocked.They have everything, and then some more. Best time to shop is in the morning between 7.30 and 9.30am – it otherwise becomes quite crowded and the line is super long. The cashier are kinda slow for my liking.

  So where do I begin ? From going to a lot of places and traveling and shopping at many Walmarts. This by far has to be the best I’ve even been to. The faculty are just so nice and attentive I believe the manager Jeffery is excellent and on point. I’ve seen him work with other employees and watched the leadership as a manager he’s carried to reflect on the entire store and I like that in a day of corporate American shopping everyone in this Walmart was on the same agenda. Shelf’s we’re stocked information was given quickly and questions were answered. I really look forwarded to shopping here I strongly think me being a customer that Jeffrey and the entire staff at this Walmart are hard working people and deserve a-lot of recognition by corporate or regional directors of Walmart

  Hi the Team leader Jenna was very helpful we purchased a big basketball hoop with stand for a very special birthday boy and she went out of her way to find us one in the back thank you for excellent customer service . I want to thank the bakery the cake was delicious party was a success

  This is NOT our favorite location!! The parking lot is ALWAYS so dirty! Carts all over and you can’t park in certain areas bc the carts are in the way.

  We have bought things to get home and nothing in the package (a lot of theft going on). The customer service desk takes too long w just one person helping. This store is not very clean. The freezer door was broke one day and wouldn’t close.

  We try to go to a VA Beach Walmart. Did like this hoodie though.

  I have purchased 3 cakes here. They do an amazing job. This was their first green drip cake I had in mind for a Halloween Baby shower. Everyone loved the cake and said they will definitely be using Walmart in the future. Tastes so good and they where so friendly Siham Laaguiby & Pamela Welton.   The parking lot is FILTHY, Trash and grocery carts scattered everywhere. This is the first Walmart I’ve seen quite like this.

  This is the best of all the local Walmarts in this area that I have visited. It’s always clean and well stocked and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I drive to this location even though it’s not the closest one to my home.

  I love shopping here. This store has a little of Everything including a family restroom and one for ‘adults’. It has a pharmacy, money services, self-checkout kiosks. The store is always clean. They follow the pandemic guidelines and insists on face masks before entering the store.
  They are they most crowded at the beginning and ending of the month. They still have safety protocols in place. The staff is helpful and friendly.
  As of this posting, there’s a police presence due the recent mass shooting.

  I love shopping at Wal-Mart especially when the store isn’t too crowded. Thank goodness the Christmas celebration is over and we can get back to our weekly shopping. I jumped into one of their electrical carts and was able to go down so many aisles. The food section is full of fresh vegetables and a large assortment of meats and cheeses. Make sure to check out the refrigerated section to pick up frozen pizza, cakes, and ice cream. There were a few aisles open for immediate check out so I went to a human instead of self-check out! The cashier was pleasant and professional. Many employees said hello as I passed them. Didn’t get everything I needed, so may go back next week!

  A little run down on the inside. Grocery stock was low on quite a few things on a Monday. Not sure how that happens. However, as we know the stores in this area will have a wider selection of ethnic foods. Love my Jamaican hot sauces and Mexican spices.

  I use to drive past the Walmart at Janaf to go to this one. I’ve recently been making pick up orders with no problem. Now I’ve switched to delivery and placed my order weds night to be delivered by Thurs morn and at 5:30 pm it still wasn’t here. On their customer service line that’s automated it states if you don’t receive your order within 48hrs call back. That’s insane to me. Nobody has time to sit around and wait 48 hrs to have a delivery drop off from 2 days ago. So I chat with a live person who tells me it’ll be here by 8pm. It’s now Friday morning and no delivery and I’ve tried to call this store 20x and nobody answers and option you push. I’ve pushed them all. This is ridiculous. 200$ worth of groceries and still have nothing and am just in limbo.

  Wal-Mart makes mistakes but in the end they usually get the job done and I keep going back. Still some things could be done much better. Bluebell ice cream is $7.44, not $7.98 as it rung up on Aug 16. Can’t check price at the register; have to pay, exit the store, then reenter and request refund. Employees were standing idle behind me and nobody staffing the customer service counter. At least there was not a line at 8am. Just have to make eye contact with someone. Easy fix.

  Merchandise is packaged in multi units that are only sold individually. Not too bad; just rip open the outer package to scan. Worse is when units that are not sold individually are separated and placed on retail shelf without outer package or bar code, so they cannot be sold at all. But that happened at Hybla Valley, not this Super Wal-Mart, and I got the refund for the Bluebell overcharge, so we are good.

  Curbside pickup is ridiculous here. This is not my normal Walmart and this just reminded me why! So annoyed right now. I sat in my car 20 minutes and nothing. Went near the door where everyone is gathered and I’m still standing here 15 minutes later. Everyone is telling one another about my pickup order but no one has said anything to me! I believe it’s lost! This is very disappointing. Smh

  The associate in electronics on tonight treated me with black on black discrimination. I felt so disrespected when she left me to help another customer and didn’t come back. When I asked her to help me on the photo machine she was polite but when another customer of foreign decent asked her to help him she explained that she would be back to help me. Long story short she never came back in 15min. so I approached her and the customer and requested she return to help me, however she did not and said she had to help everyone even though the other customer said yes you can go back and help her. I asked for a manager and she said there was no manager on duty. Wow awful customer service I did find a MOD but the help lead right back to the rude associate.
  Walmart needs to train your associates on good customer service and how to handle multiple customers at a time.

  If I could give 0 stars I would. On 10/20 around 7:45 this morning I was assaulted and unlawfully detained by a Walmart employee. I checked out at self checkout using Walmart Pay, this method of payment does not allow for physical receipts you are provided a digital receipt. As I was leaving an employee asked to see my receipt and I stated that I payed with Walmart Pay, but I was happy to show her my receipt if she could help me locate it in the app. She rudely stated “are you new to using this” I said no, but I’d never had to produce the receipt so I was unfamiliar. I told her that she couldn’t prevent me from leaving, so I tried to leave. was physically prevented from leaving the store. The employee began yelling and used her body to push me back ( 2+ times) and locked the sliding glass doors. She then proceeded to direct other customers to another exit. The police was called, and the manager on duty (Alfred) was unhelpful and rude.
