- Reviews:My experience with Henco was both good and bad unfortunately which is why I am leaving 3 stars. I needed my galvanized steel water pipes replaced, Henco was the best rated company I found and received a quote from Henco with a decent price compared to the 5 quotes I received for the job. It involved having to bore instead of dig the ground out completely. I was all for it. I will start with the positives, they worked fast, had a decent price, and were for the most part easy to work with. I was happy with the work until the job was almost complete, when I received the quote I was told that they would have to cut out some drywall but would be able to put it back and it would be on me to do the patching and paint, I was good with that. Once the job was all done, everything worked great in regards to our water. The new pex pipes worked amazing. However they left our water main exposed due to needing an inspection from the city, the inspection came and went and they never back filled it. Well the freezing temps came and even though I tried to cover and insulate it till they could backfill it still froze and the main burst which resulted in us spending Christmas without water. That was unfortunate but they did end up filling it and didn’t charge us to fix the main that burst due to them leaving it exposed. So regardless of spending Xmas without water it was fixed so It was okay. Another issue was that they installed our shower head super high. I’m 6 foot and even I had issue reaching it, and the way the shower faucet handle was set up we couldn’t get hot water. They came out to fix it and drop down the shower head, however within 24 hours of Henco leaving this second time, my shower handle popped out of the wall bringing tile with it. (See picture) I sent some pictures and emailed and was told that it looks like someone had pulled it out and they sent me a picture of what it looked like when they left, which was it should have been but as I had shown them it was now not as they left it. I don’t know if the guy that came did something to it that caused it to pop out when he fixed the handle because it wouldn’t move as much as it was supposed to on the Hot side. They refused to fix it. Which was a bit disappointing because why would we pull out the handle? We waited the amount of time they said we needed for caulking to set to before using it and it ended up like that anyways. So besides spending Christmas without water due to the exposed water main, our shower faucet handle being broken and coming out of the wall and a bunch of holes from cut out drywall in our bathroom and basement that we were told when quoted they’d put back, the job was great. I am going to give another attempt to reach out to them and see if they’ll work with us and will update my review with any new information. I just also want to add that the water line work itself was great. It was just these after issues that were a concern.By Juan Pinedo (4 months ago)Excellent service! We got a same day appointment for a drain cleaning, and were able to schedule a re-pipe consultation on my next available day off. At that appointment, absolutely everything was checked to see if a full re-pipe was necessary. Unfortunately, it is, but I appreciate the time and effort put forth to do absolutely everything to ensure that we explored every option available. We are on the books for our re-pipe early next week, and look forward to working with the folks at Henco in the future for any of our plumbing needs!By Erin Creed (5 months ago)I had a major plumbing issue where the contractor who poured my driveway, failed to reinstall the clean out properly and managed to get dirt and debris compacted into the sewer main. Out came Mark and Ricky from Henco. Man, they crushed it! I’ve used Henco in the past on other jobs, so I knew what to expect. But these two blew it out. Professional, courteous, communicative and worked as long as it took to get my home functioning again. Mark explained every step of the process, showed me the tools he was using and why, showed me all the scope images and wrote a great report so that I can go after the contractor that did the poor work on my driveway. Ricky was super polite, did a solid job and was easy to chat with. It was hands down the best plumbing experience I’ve had. And I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Henco.By D Luiz (6 months ago)I selected no, I haven’t used this business because they came out to troubleshoot a problem with my existing water filtration system and give a quote. We have not yet contracted with them, but will not hesitate if needed; we are contacting the original installer to see if they will correct the issue before we decide. However, Henco was very responsive, explained the issues and needed corrections in detail. Aaron was knowledgeable, professional and explained everything so I understood. I would/will not hesitate to contact Henco for any future plumbing issues.By Rick Gehlhaar (4 months ago)I called Henco Plumbing after two other plumbing companies were reluctant to do the job we needed done. We had sewage backing up into our home due to a root in our sewage line. Our sewage line runs beneath our deck. We had removed the top boards from our deck. To replace the main line, the trench had to be dug by hand through the mud and between the foundation boards of the deck. Henco came out to look at the situation right away. Their bid was fair and they got to work the next day. (We had waited a month for the other companies to do it before giving up on them.) All four of the employees we talked to, or worked with, were pleasant and concerned for our situation. They did a great job through the rain and mud, and you can hardly tell that the line was replaced. It was a refreshing pleasure to work with this company. However, Apollo was straightforward with scheduling and got me in super fast, considering the holidays. The service pro that came out to help diagnose a leak, Michael R., was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and even gave me a few maintenance tips for plumbing and hvac! I super appreciated that considering this is my first home. Luckily we caught the repairman in time and he fixed the mistake. 2) Replacing our kitchen sink faucet…which literally came loose the NEXT DAY causing the faucet to dangle because the so called plumber Installed a wrong washer. We have used Sarkinen Plumbing twice now, for two different plumbing needs and have been very pleased with the service and results. The first was a visit to replace our water heater damaged by well water deposits. We had previously purchased parts to repair the thermostat, thinking that was the issue, but instead opted to replace. Our technician amazingly used the parts we already had to quickly and thoroughly repair it, instead of recommending replacement. Saved us lots of money! They also took a water sample for testing, so we know what filters to put in.
Second visit was to diagnose drains backing up. We have a relatively new house (7 years) and take good care not to put anything in the toilets or drains that would disagree with our septic. Recently had maintenance done on septic. Technician cleared the drains in question and ran a camera to find the source. Not an easy solution, but discovered our septic was not installed properly!! Ouch!

We noticed our hot water heater went out when we got home from work. Sarkinen plumbing answered after hours that night. The next morning we got an appointment scheduled. They were able to come out, check our water heater and replace it all in one day. They were on time and informative. They gave us options which is always appreciated and told us how much each option would be. We would highly recommend them for any water heater issues.
The employee who answered my call was polite and friendly. They were able to send a team the same day I called and didn’t require a credit card number to hold on file. The tech assessed what needed to be done and didn’t try to upsell which I really appreciated. The team worked quickly. They tested their work and made sure everything was working properly and no more leaks. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very friendly and professional. I will definitely call again when I’m ready to have my next project done.
He was very professional and did a wonderful job. I appreciate his work ethics. He was patiently answering our questions. So knowledgeable also. He knows what he is doing. That was reassuring. And the cost was very reasonable and the same day service was wonderful ????????
