Wow, Mr Leon and Mr John were so helpful to me in the lumber department. They need to be recognized for their customer service. These two gentlemen are worth the trip to this Home Depot location!
Grew up in this area. What was once the highest selling store in michigan(Because only one store in the entire city)I was dismayed to see the condition of the store. The bathroom was worse than a Porta potty. The stock was low or mismatched or totally out. I can tell corporate is aware because I see daily training that comes off like corporate sent in a fixer. Staff is mostly friendly if you can find one and freely will send you to the wrong isle to get you out of their face. If you need help find someone older and cross your fingers. I’m a contractor so I’m in the store often. Undercover security follows me around to the point I have to approach them it’s insulting and obvious. The store is trash.
UPDATE: not as much trash on the ground…. not because of cleanliness it’s because there was zero toilet tissue available. The corner stall didn’t even HAVE a tissue dispenser or toilet cover dispenser.
Guettoest home depot ever.. i mean its in the hood so as soon as you park you see weird people loitering around. I guess it must so bad they have police inside or some type of armed fancy security.. When you go in you can hear staff all talking in weird slang yelling at each other from one end of the isle to the other and acting less than the profesional helpful way you should expect. Never again.. ????
They over charged my card n wen i said some THEY CALLED THE POLICE n BOTH ASSISTANCE MANAGERS ????
I’m in Detroit now, and HomeDepot is still my favorite place for my DIY projects. Plenty of parking and fast service. I like how the associates know the store. I created this renter friendly pegboard system for just $10 worth of HomeDepot lumber.
