TOP 1 Target in Birmingham AL

The drive up at the 280 Target consistently takes 15-20+ minutes. In most cases, I could go inside and shop the items and checkout myself before my items I ordered are brought to my car. There are always a lot cars here also waiting to pick up their orders and half the time cars either leave or go inside to pick up at the counter because they grow tired of waiting. There is always only one guy working drive up by himself.I understand they were trying extra busy around the holidays and they’re understaffed, but this happens every week day I do a drive up, no matter the day or time.
Whatever happened to customer, went to target’s to get a lamp. 98% of the lamps were not in the place they were supposed to be at. The price where the lamps said $25 or $35, when scanning them they said something different and could not fine where the name was. I ask the girl at the self check out and basically she couldn’t honor it. She said if I had a picture, so we showed the picture and nothing. So I asked for the manager and told her that none of the lamps are not where they are suppose to go and can’t find. Someone was suppose to come over there and nothing. If you know they are like that why not put a sign or take them off the shelf. What happened to honoring a price or they just chose not too. Neither one one of them tried.
Palmer in the household goods section was super nice! He helped make my day by simply going to the back to check for an item even though it said sold out online . He had a great attitude and he found the item. This is why I love target!
My only issue with Target on 280 is their refusal to open at least one register in the evening. It’s maddening to buy over a hundred dollars in items and be forced to self checkout. I seldom shop 280 Target because of this fact, I literally drive to Hoover or Homewood just so I won’t be inconvenienced and I live on 280. This comes from a Target lover on every level. Over 75% of the items in my home is from Target from my bedding, bathroom shower curtain, my clothes, and my groceries! Do better 280 Target…
Came here after the remodel usually I avoid this one and would drive further to Hoover West or Homewood. But after seeing remodel I gave it a 2nd chance. The store is a lot nicer but I still see lots of things out of stock. They recently gave me a free sample of an almond. It was ok. The employees were friendly too. This target is definitely on par now with all the other ones. Will miss the old designs though.
