I would not go to this place again the staff was very friendly and it was busy and made me think they had yummy food. I had to get my own duck sauce from the hostess and had to go back to her for to go containers and find our bill. I took away a star because of this. I came back to find that they were no longer The same place I remembered. My go-to was always the sweet and sour chicken. The meal was always accompanied with pineapple and maraschino cherries mixed in with the chicken and sauce. I was highly disappointed when I bit into the chicken which seemed very large on the outside about the size of a small clam cake but had a chunk of chicken the size of a small dice inside. If I had to compare how much meat was in the whole container, I figure it was less than maybe a 10th of a pound. Safe to say I felt ripped off and will not go back to the restaurant again. That’s too bad too because I used to go there quite often. If that is what they have done to my go to meal, I can imagine what corners they have cut on the other meals in the menu. At least the meal was hot. I’ll give them that. Crab Rangoons had no filling. Less than a marble size of filling. mostly a pocket of air. Chicken wings both my Islander wings and my husband’s fried chicken wings were over cooked and tough. We.had both spare ribs. mine was boneless and were a little tough. The bone in..not one bit tender. This was on a Monday. I swear they tried to pass off the leftover food from the weekend Over 70.00. For what they charge I expected the food to be decent at least! Shocked and disappointed. I have been eating here since I was a kid up until I moved. The Co Reviewer and I were not feeling well so we were staying in for the night and decided to try Lemongrass for Chinese take out.
We ordered the basic stuff and it was okay.
The potion size was okay for our items.
If we ever dine in we will update the review.
Loved this place. 3 of us were going to Newport and wanted to have sushi, Thai and Vietnamese food. This place was amazing. We had sushi rolls, their combination platter as well as Thai noodles. They were delicious.
Another home run. You can never go wrong here. Food is excellent, very clean, very kind and attentive wait staff. Sushi is excellent. Good drinks with friends at the bar.
Great Asian food, including Chinese, Japanese and Thai dishes that are very reasonably priced. The wait staff are great, food is consistently good, visit after visit, year after year.
They make great bar drinks too. Plenty of free parking, centrally located and easy to get to.
Can I rate it higher? Best tasting ever, all my favorites with delicious Seasoning!! You must try Lemon Grass. We had take out, 25 mins………..
