Services include US Bank, Starbucks, Deli, Meat and Seafood, beer, wine, and liquor, Groceries, and ATM. Store offers everything. Store was well stocked, parking is abundant, the staff is nice. Picked up cake and wrong frosting, cake flavor, and characters. I asked if they were sure this was my cake because it was wrong and she said yes it was the only cake they had for pick up that day. I refused to pay for it and went to get just a generic cake from Whole Foods across the street but so disappointing. I didn’t want to mess up his groove, and I was embarrassed…. But, I had accidentally kicked the cart and split open my toe. He went and got me two bandaids— one normal, one with wings. He then finished helping my cashier bag and then pointed to where the paper towels are. He was so so so kind and helpful! I love the staff and love their cheerful attitudes. This wasn’t a huge gesture, but it was enough to make me write a review!! You can’t make it to Pars Kosher Market & Deli. This place is second the best to get your kosher meat products. If in stock, I always go for the 8 piece chicken cut up. Better deal for all your meat portion for chicken. Includes the neck and butt. I’m not a fan of the butt. But definitely the neck. Its too bad they don’t have kosher chicken liver. Would have been amazing on the grill. I cut all the breast meat to save it for a later day to make schnitzel. Then the two drumsticks for fried chicken. Everything else is made into a soup dish I made called Marak Temani, which is a Jewish Yemenite favorite dish. When its ready to eat. You can add the croutons into your bowl. If you like most people eat it with bread, so that they can say the prayer for Birkat Hamazon. This shopping plaza on San Antonio Ave in Mountain View has all the stores and grocery shops you need. Definitely recommend this store to all local shoppers and visitors. Here is a store with a decent selection of Japanese goods and items that you might find in another Japanese market. The prices are not too cheap, but probably just about right for the San Francisco-area market. There is a small deli/good counter at the front of the store that you can eat into store (chairs and tables nearby) out carry out with you. Parking is free, but it’s shared with all the other stores in the plaza.
They have a good variety of Japanese staples. However, it wasn’t the freshest when it came to the seafood section. In regards to the prepared food, it was ok. I don’t think I got the value for the price paid.
What times Uji Time so long? Finally I can find Uji Time ice cream in nijiya mountain view, and this location just carries too many flavors that it will take a while for me to try.
I got Thai tea today.
It’s close and has everything I need. The produce here is better than anywhere else I’ve been. Great tasting and super fresh.
The fish though… Once upon a time it was great quality. A year or two ago someone else started cutting the fish. Now you have to be careful of scales and bones in your sashimi and bento. The fish is not as fresh and firm as it used to be. I was hoping the person just needed time to be properly trained and practice. It has only gotten worse. Having worked with professionals in the industry, I’ve seen the gamut. The people who don’t keep the product clean tend to be the same ones that don’t wash their hands after using the restroom or wear the “eternal gloves.” Aka one pair of gloves for everything – trash, making your food, etc. The quality in your work shows your level of care. I really hope they replace whoever the joker/s is handling the fish and bento.
Clean, lots of high quality items, everything is neat. I get the blocks of salmon sashimi and all my shabu shabu stuff from here. Love this store!
