- Reviews:Worked here for over a year and was driven to quit recently by poor management, unsafe work environment not just for employees but unsafe conditions for shoppers as well as children. Employees made to climb over boxes just to get needed equipment, little to no help from management. Only one fully trained manager but he rarely shows up. Sad to leave but the store just continued to decline more and more each day. Dealing with the overwhelming amount of work with no real leadership or help just wasn’t worth it for $13/hourBy Natalia (a year ago)Very surprised at the condition of this store. They appear to have a staffing issue and the line was extremely long for a mid Friday visit. Shelves and racks weren’t stocked or either empty. No inventory. This used to be a great location. Maybe they haven’t recovered from the holiday season. Probably won’t return for a while…wasted trip.By Ty P. (3 months ago)The store is okay, but I much prefer the location at Willow lawn. A few days ago, this store on Midlothian Turnpike looked as though a small tornado had blown through it. There were clothes on the floor underneath the racks, there were tons of clothes and empty hangers in the dressing rooms, and a couple of the employees were borderline rude. But, they do have a decent selection of women’s clothes at really good prices.By Cara Kinning (a month ago)Customer Service excellence! Prices are higher than usual. The problem I had was that everything was out of place! It was just so messy! I could not find what I was looking for but I did find other good stuff because I spent over 450. I guess it wasn’t so bad after all! I still love the store because it has name brand items but only one time so you have to be there at the right time to get the bargain!By Edna Moore (6 months ago)We got some good buys but their customer service is awful. There were 21 people in line when one of the 2 cashiers turned off her checker and light and left. When asked if there was a cashier to check out purchases the lone cashier _who was processing returns) said rather snipingly, “yeah. Me”. So with 21 people in line we waited close to 30 min to check out. Long story short….. Go there for the bargains but don’t expect any kind of customer service. Be sure to allow plenty of time as the checkout process takes forever.By M (3 years ago)

Thank you for reading! If you have any additional information about the Ross in Richmond VA, please leave a comment below. We would love to hear from you!

This Ross is a very big store at this location and you can find lots here. But when you go on the weekend you can see almost many things are gone. So I would always recommend to go on a weekday so that get lots and lot. I just love the collections of Ross always. You get completely new stuffs in a very cheap price .
There is a huge parking space and it’s inside a complex surrounded by many other stores. I always love the home decor items from them.
I love Ross for the finds. I always pick up great dresses and shoes for work and church. $39.99 is the most I’ve paid for a dress and or shoes, and they are all typically good quality whether name brand or not. I’m always complimented on my purchases and I never hesitate to give Ross their recognition. I even have a saying, “Ross is the boss!” Lol.
Was there Christmas Eve OUTSTANDING cashiers they got a line down within minutes over 15 of us in line. Great seeing store Manager helping and ringing up. I even complimented him on great customer service looks like none of the workers where stressed m. Dr. Brown.
In general we find good deals in Ross, though not jeans/trousers for big and tall men. Today I was very frustrated with the customer service I received from the two members of staff on the tills. A line was forming and one of the two ladies was hanging up coat hangers instead of serving me. When I asked her to serve, her colleague said that she needed to continue to do this, when this is not an essential task. This was after she had already made me line up in the regular line when I had a return. Unacceptable service today, hence why I’ve decided to write this review.
This is a great store, especially compared with the Ross Dress for Less on Midlothian Turnpike. The clothing racks and dressing rooms were neat and organized, they had a nice selection of clothes for very good prices, and almost all the employees I spoke with were nice and friendly.
