The store manager did a really great job. There was a line of people with some difficult issues. I was first in, and he handled my phone upgrade quickly, while also juggling many other customers and I never felt like I wasn’t a priority. He was professional, upbeat, calm and positive, even when it would have been really easy to get frustrated with all of the needy impatient customers trying to get a free replacement for their iPhone 3G haha. Jeffrey did a really great job.
My wife and I ordered 2 new iPhone 14 Pros to establish an account for 2 new lines and switch my wife’s line over from T-Mobile. My phone showed up a couple weeks later but they didn’t call to inform us so we had to call them. Went into the store a couple weeks later once back from vacation and they said my new phone was no longer there and our account had been cancelled since we didn’t pick it up in 3-5 days. We would have to reorder both phones which were now on a 1+ month back order.
No one informed us of this policy in any communications, and my phone had been there for 3-5 days before we called them to try and figure out if it had arrived. The reaction I got from the customer rep was unapologetic and a basic “well there’s nothing we can do, do you want to order new phones or not” rather than seeing what else they could do to remedy the situation.
After this experience we’re now going to add my new line to my wife’s existing account at T-mobile instead of switching over to Verizon.
Only reason for 2 stars rather than 1 is that the first customer rep when we set up the account and placed our order was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Horrible place to go upgrade. Tried upgrading through the app, but couldn’t, went in store to trade in and upgrade me s20+ for the s22ultra with 800 savings or whatever. After giving my info, the salesman said I couldn’t trade my phone in for an upgrade but they could only put $80-$200 of my phones worth towards it or upgrade my family plan because verizon changed everything and is making everyone upgrade. Total lie and up sale to pocket money. I’ve had friends work at other places say and do the same stuff. Mind even though I was already approved online for a free upgrade no family plan upgrade. We called support and they said that was not the case and we could upgrade with nothing to worry about except the upgrade fee. DO NOT go to this place or probably any store front. They will say you have to do all this needless stuff and you’ll pay more for them to pocket money. If you want a job do it honest, dont scam people, to make your sales. Just like cops
My phone died and I needed a replacement. Made an appointment and when I showed up, only had to wait a few minutes for the store manager to finish up with another customer. Told the manager (Kimberly, I think her name was) my situation and she was able to set me up with a new phone & plan and transfer my contents from the old phone to the new one. Kimberly couldn’t have been more efficient, helpful, and pleasant, and sending me on my way in a very decent amount of time. Thank you!
Ethan was helpful with getting a new phone, he was alone in the store which angered other patrons. Verizon should always staff 2 people each shift to avoid angering other customers if the only staff person needs to spend 90 min setting up new phone. Also not enough phone cases and accessories in stock to select for new Galaxy 23 phone. Ethan was pleasant and helpful despite all these issues
