- Reviews:The work performed was done well. It looks professional and works well. My only issue was cost. I was shocked at the material cost and upcharge on that. I was also surprised it took 3 hours to install a small stationary tub (But I wasn’t there to watch what all was happening). It was over $800 (excluding the tub/faucet). The plumber also said he would secure the sink and did not. I will say that I should have gotten it quoted before I did the work. Lesson learned. This was my first experience with Avid Plumbing and I highly recommend them for any plumbing issue. Communication via email/text was amazing-meaning getting a date set to do the project was timely. Jake-my plumber arrived on time-gave me great options and then went to work. This guy is one efficient, plumbing artisan! I now love looking at my new faucets, nice drain assembly, and shiny copper pipes. I really did not like the old galvanized pipes and am most thrilled they are gone in that area. The city was coming back on Tuesday. I called Avid and they set up an early Tuesday appointment and sent Collin out to do the job. I’d asked for Collin to come early not realizing arrived he’d need to wait for the city to turn off the water from the street first. He arrived and coordinated with the city to get everything done and then waited. He did an excellent job and was quick and efficient. Our latest experience was exactly that. First, Collin came out in response to our claim, repaired the water softener and went through our options with our failing water heater. We decided to go the tankless route, which is a little more extensive from a project standpoint, but within hours, Pam had a project plan in place and a time reserved on their schedule for us. When that time came, Rob and his trainee came out ready to work They were very friendly and did an outstanding and thorough job. All the runs look nice and their cleanup was top notch. The Service Tech was on time, professional and courteous. He shared what he was going to do in an easy to understand manner. He did find an issue with the AC system (leak in the system) and will file the warranty work necessary. Overall, I found the annual maintenance to be well done. I am very satisfied with the work.
A+ Service from the crew at Dave Jones. Our fan went out on our furnace so I sent them a message through their web portal (it was after hours and I didn’t think it needed an emergency visit). Julie at DJ promptly replied back the next morning and set up a service call that day. They were pleasant, respectful, clean, and quickly solved the issue (fan controller module). Price was reasonable especially given the speed at which they were able to address the problem.

My Dave Jones experience was great – they recently did some warranty work on an AprilAir system I installed the prior year. The people that you call and book appointments are cheery and delightful. They were able to come quickly and our technician was friendly and was able to explain what went wrong. Although we received a bill, their admin specialist Caitlin was quick and friendly to make sure it was covered under warranty. Choose Dave Jones for great service.
