Update 8-31-22. So I went back, I know that’s weak but they are the closest in my area. Disappointed again! I bought sausage links and patties for the upcoming weekend, there’s going to be a large group of us so I was buying the double packs (or just extra). When I went to the register my double packs, which were right next to the single packs, rang up 70 cents more each (sign said 2 for $5). Now I am not posting this because of the money, I’m posting because of their deceptive practices. I often see this sort of thing at Kroger. There will be tags by a couple of products (that are nearly identical) that don’t match the price at the register. The joke about this instance, is A they wouldn’t refund my money, B the twin packs in theory are usually less, and C they were the same ounce packages (I could have bought two that weren’t taped together) The most laughable part of the entire thing is that the manager went back and did a price check, so she could have brought the correct packages up that were two for five. Instead she just chose to come back to the register and say that I was wrong, that actually the double packages were $0.70 more. Am I wrong here?! I’m done, DONE!!!!! The bottle return area was finally in service, but it was absolutely disgustingly dirty!
We all need to stop shopping here until they make major changes or go out of business.
I have been coming here for years but I keep on getting let down by lack of stock, increased pricing, and once again the bottle return being out of commision. I feel you keep pushing me to shop at Meijer, because that is what I end up doing. I’m frustrated with you Kroger and taking my business elsewhere.
This is by far the worst grocery store I’ve ever been in. It starts in a terribly configured parking lot. It then continues into a vestibule that smells of the restrooms. The produce and bakery sections are usually about half stocked by noon and oast that don’t bother. The aisles are very narrow. The prices are awful compared to Meijer. The whole store needs to be cleaned and reconfigured starting in the parking lot. I’d avoid this store at all costs.
Kroger has been steadily going downhill is extremely sad. They’re fried Chicken is probably the best out of any even better than Kentucky fried. Yet they randomly open it you never know when you can get it. You can smell the fish counter that’s in the back all the way from the front door. They do seem to be properly staffed at registers to check out.
Kristen and Jason were so helpful. Okay I don’t think I’ve ever been at a grocery store especially a big chain one had someone goes so out of their way to help me.
Even though I’m removing closer to a different Kroger I will make the extra trip to go here such a great experience
