Always friendly staff and clean. Today the kids where looking at the balloons and Jennie blewup each a kroger balloon. Always something positive at this location.
The absolute worst Kroger in the entire chain. I have shopped at Kroger all over the Memphis area and in many, many, many other areas around Tennessee and other states and the one in Oakland, Tennessee is by far the worst. Starting with custom service the employees are unbelievably rude. They will do anything possible to not assist you. They ignore you, walk the other way when they see a customer approaching, roll their eyes when you finally do catch one and ask a question, have a disgusted look on their face while they are dealing with you. They are horrible. The selection is terrible. You can tell that the company doesn’t feel as if the town of Oakland can either afford a better selection or that we don’t know enough about the products to deserve to have the option for the better products. It’s really rather insulting to be honest. I have to go 18 miles to a different Kroger to find about half of the products I need or want. It’s just a horrible experience to go in there to shop and if I can help it I try not to shop there but sometimes I don’t have a choice. I hate this location.
There is clearly a line at the meat department but yet not one employee has come to assist. I called the store number to even get assistance and all they said was that they would try to get someone over there.. How Ghetto. I even went to the deli department and asked for help and the old white guy looked at me and said he couldn’t help although all he was doing was just standing around .
You cut meat either way so what’s the difference wrapping up tilapia ?? Ugh now I have to shop in Bartlett
Horrible store I’ve returned meat at least 4 times never shopping this location again
Kroger is the only grocery store in Oakland I don’t have much of a choice
