Everyone was extremely nice, absolutely no wait. The facility is modern and clean.
2 options – quick test and pcr. I needed to know quickly as I’d been with a group dancing so got results back in an hour. I then notified everyone I’d been in contact with. Excellent plus clear guidelines were given on what to do. Very pleased with my treatment. Highly recommend!By Jane Richey (6 months ago)I was a walk in for urgent care. I thought I had bronchitis because I get it several times a year. They told me it could be a 30-35 min wait. I ended up being taken back within 5 minutes and the staff were amazing! The facility in itself was super clean, but what made my visit so great was the staff. Each person was so kind and helpful and they got all my test results back quickly and made sure I had everything I needed. I actually have never had such a good experience at urgent care and I was super impressed by everyone.By Janelle Mertens (3 months ago)So grateful for everyone who was involved in my care at Carbon Health Urgent care on 10/10/22. I was on vacation from Ohio to San Francisco and became ill. I searched on-line for a walk-in clinic near 47th Ave and read great reviews for Carbon Health Urgent Care! First, the receptionist was so understanding that i was late for my appointment because i couldn’t find a parking spot and she was eager to work me back into their busy schedule, so that I wouldn’t have to come back. I was promptly called back to a room where i was thoroughly assessed by Meagan, the nurse practitioner on duty. She was very knowledgeable and very kind to me. She described the medication she was going to prescribe to make sure I understood the side effects. In 5 days, I was good as new!
Thank to everyone at Carbon Health Urgent Care for such wonderful care and hospitality to an out of state patient!By pamela Medica (4 months ago)I From start to finish the process was easy. I made an appointment on line. I showed up and I only had to wait a few minutes. The staff were super courteous and professional. My treatment was quick and handled completely what I came on for. Thanks, Carbon Health!By Robert Romano (4 months ago)This is my first time to use this facility. I Googled COVID Rapid PCR Test. Carbon Health on Irving St., listed, and is very close to where I live. So this is a very convenient location for me. I called, and Alba answered the phone. She was knowledgeable, clear and concise. I followed her instructions, downloaded the APP, scheduled my appointment, and upon arrival, Alba processed my appointment without hesitation. While waiting, as well as being escorted by the Medical Technician, I did notice the facility to be clean and well lit. My vital signs, COVID 19 PCR, FLU A & B, RSV Test’s and Flu vaccination were processed within the next hour. Christian, the Medical Technician administered the Flu vaccination with competency. As a registered nurse I do recognize competency. I only made an appointment to have the COVID PCR Test. However, appreciate the fact that Ray, the PA took the time to ask whether I would also like to be tested for Flu A&B, as well as RSV. This prompted me to inquire for whether I could get a Flu vaccination too, and he was able to accommodate my request. I was able to get a lot done within a small window of time. Thank you all for your efforts on my behalf.Best Regards,

Be prepared to wait…if the printer breaks again, be prepared to wait even longer. First, you’ll wait in the lobby. Then, you’ll wait in a waiting room in the back. Then, you’ll wait again while they try and find a printer that works to give you a receipt for your visit. I saw four people give up on waiting during my time in the lobby. And we were the ones that showed up early. Apparently it gets worse as the day goes on as you’ll see people come back in the morning who couldn’t get in before they closed the day before. Staff was nice enough, I’m just not sure what exactly takes so long.
The wait was over an hour even with an appointment. However, the staff was very kind and lovely. I needed to have a physical as a potential stem cell donor, and they did a very professional job of taking my blood for testing, and navigating the “kit” from the donor program. The care was great, even if the wait was long.
I work for the city of San Francisco and routinely have random drug testing. My last visit about 2 weeks ago was the worst. First off… the front desk staff never took down the time I arrived on my paperwork, which we are required to be there within an hour from when you noticed of the random test. The next issue was having to wait 53 mins to use the restroom for the drug test. That is just unacceptable and unprofessional.
Excellent! I have been going there for many years and a particular nurse knows that I come there about the same time every year. Not only that my recent visit was a breeze. I hardly waited before being called up and everything was taken care of. Keep up the good work
My main frustration with the place was I sat there for 2 hours before I was even called into a room when there was many that came in after me the winter rooms and we’re seen .
Then when I finally brought it up with staff they just basically ignored me oh you’re still here you haven’t been called in yet and there was two others at the same time going through the same issue…. Now my second visit wasn’t nearly as bad and the doctor was fine and informative and thorough and both occasions but I I just could not believe sitting there for 2 hours when my appointment was at a certain time and I was there even early thinking there be paperwork to filled out yet sat there for 2 hours afterwards…..
