I’ve been to 2 Concentra clinics this year (2022), both for employment physicals, and neither clinic met expectations. On my last visit(September, 2022), I had several issues with medical staff drawing my blood. I insisted that blood be drawn from my hands because the veins in my inner elbow are small, deep, and move a lot. This is from years of experience of having multiple surgeries and my blood taken regularly to monitor my A1C levels for diabetes. After 4 sticks (2 in my inner elbows) and a ruptured vein, they got the blood they needed. I was also in the last clinic for more than 3 hours, even with an appointment. I was in the exam room waiting to be seen for so long that my blood sugar dropped and they had to bring me some juice and pretzels because I started to shake. When I left the exam room to ask for something to raise my blood sugar, one of the staff in the room I entered even rolled their eyes. To make things worse, the last 30 minutes I was waiting in the clinic was pointless because they had already done the test I was waiting for. No one had communicated to the PA that examined me that they had already taken the sample they needed. The ONLY saving grace, and the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1, is that everyone but The Eye Roller was very nice and polite. The PAs that examined me, on either visit, were sincere in their concern about my blood sugar and well-being, and that alone made the waits more bearable.By James Alexander Fontanilla (5 months ago)Overall the staff was friendly and professional. However, with that said the female X-ray tech that took me in for my physical was rude and unprofessional. Her attitude was very unwelcomed by me and made be feel uncomfortable. I think in the medical profession a more empathetic approach to everything that we do with patients is the better way to go, along with behaving in a respectful manner to all.By Anna (5 months ago)I went in to do a drug screening for pre-employment on a Tuesday afternoon. Staff was great, waited for a while but It was busy and I had no appt so it was fine.
Come to find out over a week later, after having to reach out to multiple people to see what is the delay, I receive an email stating the following: “Your drug test specimen was not able to be tested because it was lost in transit from the collection site to the lab.”
how do they lose something and not say anything until I have to dig it out of them? Now my employment is delayed some more! Losing more time and money and now I have to go again for another test:) fun

Towards the end for the physical was weird . Why? They told me to strip down to my boxers and where them disposable shorts and I had to do was touch my toes.By Erik Tamez (3 months ago)The person who gave me the hearing test was so inpatient and didn’t really told me when should I press the button, also she was mad because I didn’t find the button, since im not working at concentra I didn’t even know how the button looks like. The button was on the floor and she rolled her eyes and just pointed. Was not a pleasant experience even if I previously let her know that I was nervous, hopped she were more emphatic with customers since taking tests and all medical stuff make us naturally nervous.By J R (2 months ago)

The website makes it very easy to schedule appointments and complete all of the required paperwork beforehand. Once I got to the clinic, it was a super fast process. I was out within 10 minutes of getting there for my COVID test. Plus, I got my results within 2 hours!
The staff is really friendly and super helpful. They helped me out quickly and ensured that I got my results before my doctors appointment!!
Provided insurance card, got a covid test, they state I never had insurance. My insurance stated I am covered and they never got a claim from Instant Urgent Care. They also mistyped the date wrong on the test date. This whole experience has just been a huge waste of time and money. I wouldn’t recommend Instant Urgent Care or Athena Health to anyone.
I had a bad pain and went to Instant Urgent care at 5138 Monterey Highway, Suite G, San Jose on 12/6/2022. Dr. Ramandeep Kaur made an inspection and decided it’s Pilonidal Abscess. She issued an antibiotic prescription to my pharmacy, gave me care instruction and detailed information of the disease. She’s very good doctor and a appreciate the timely service that IUC provided.
This clinic is undoubtedly the best urgert care facility (San Jose & Santa Clara facilities) I’ve ever been to. Special thanks to all the PA’s and doctors who tended to my wounds. 100% as good as walking into a fullblown ER. I was able to make a same day appt & was seen within 10 minutes of arrival. Treatment was throughly explained & w/o confusion. Thank You Doc Kava & staff, Melissa for seeing me today on Monterey. 100 stars …
I felt very comfortable putting my life in the hands in this facility. Even though they’re just as busy helping patients as any other urgent care center, the staff made me feel like I was properly taken care of in a timely manner. I had an unbelievably time-sensitive medical issue yesterday that Instant Urgent Care was able to help me resolve immediately. Dr. R Kaur was extremely understanding, quick-to-respond, and comprehensive. I would definitely return for future issues, even if I’m make a large detour!
