  1. Thank you so much to Dr. Justin Petracek and his assistant Hailey for helping me today. I called them in the morning to get an appointment for a tooth I chipped and they got me in and fixed my tooth the same day (super quickly)! I was able to go back to work in no time. Everyone in the office was extremely kind and helpful. This will be my new dental home from now on. Thank you for all of your help Standley Shores Dental Group.

  2. Always very professional. They are HONEST! They are gentle and take the time to explain what they’re doing. Everyone is very welcoming. I have needed a couple extractions and they went very well despite my reservations. I’m so happy I found them!

  3. This place is amazing! Staff is great. Dr Jerenko is extremely gifted and seasoned in his field. By FAR the best dental office I have ever experienced and I have had a fair amount of work done with various places. Stumbled across this place by chance when we lived in the area. Have since moved but will always drive to stay with these guys. I honestly don’t believe there is a better dental office in the Denver metro area.

  4. My 91 year old dad came in for a slight adjustment for his top bridge. The incredible Dentist that we had not only fixed the top bridge perfectly, he also took the bottom set of teeth out and made a large adjustment to them for a better fit.
He took the time to fix a problem, that frankly we didn’t even know we had, until after it was done.

  5. This is the most friendly and welcoming dentist office my family and I have ever come across. The staff really wants to help you out in anyway possible, is always apologetic if things don’t go as planned, and make sure that every need is filled. I really love this team.

Essential Dental Procedures in Westminster CO

Dental health plays a pivotal role in our overall well-being. Routine dental check-ups not only ensure the health of our teeth and gums but can also prevent a variety of potential health complications. Here, we delve into some of the most common dental procedures that individuals may encounter in their journey to maintain optimal oral health.

1. Cleanings:

  • What it involves: This is perhaps the most routine of all dental procedures. A dental cleaning involves the removal of plaque and tartar that accumulate on the teeth over time. The dentist or dental hygienist uses specialized instruments to gently clean the teeth and gums, followed by polishing the teeth.
  • Why it’s done: Regular cleanings prevent cavities, gum disease, and other dental complications. They also provide the dentist an opportunity to examine the mouth for signs of other issues, such as oral cancer or tooth grinding.

2. Fillings:

  • What it involves: A filling is used to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. The dentist first removes the decayed tooth material, cleans the affected area, and then fills the cleaned-out cavity with a filling material. This material can be gold, porcelain, a composite resin, or an amalgam (an alloy of mercury, silver, copper, and sometimes tin).
  • Why it’s done: Fillings are essential to treat cavities and prevent further decay. Without a filling, bacteria can enter the tooth, leading to more serious infections and complications.

3. Extractions:

  • What it involves: An extraction is the complete removal of a tooth. It can be done using local anesthesia to numb the area around the tooth, ensuring the patient feels no pain during the procedure. The dentist then uses special tools to loosen and remove the tooth. In some cases, a more involved procedure may be necessary if the tooth is impacted (not fully erupted into the mouth), which is often the case with wisdom teeth.
  • Why it’s done: Extractions are performed for various reasons. A tooth may be too damaged or decayed to save, or there might be too many teeth in the mouth, causing crowding. Additionally, some diseases or treatments (like chemotherapy or an organ transplant) might require a compromised tooth to be removed to ensure the patient’s overall health.

In Conclusion

While dental procedures might seem daunting, they are essential for maintaining oral and overall health. Modern dentistry has made these procedures relatively painless and often quick. It’s crucial to have regular check-ups to identify potential issues early and address them, ensuring a bright and healthy smile for years to come.

Best dental experience in 30 years. I recommend mountain range dentistry to anyone and everyone. I typically hate dentist offices and leave never wanting to go back. This was a very comfortable—very thorough experience. Every staff member I talked to was very sweet and helpful. For once, I look forward to going back in 6 months!

I’ve been coming to Mountain Range dentistry for more than 2 years and the service I have received today has been exceptional. Kendal was my dental hygienist this visit and she was one of the best I’ve ever seen. She was smart, kind, and did a great job! I would recommend this place to anyone.

They are the best dental office that I ever been to. I moved from Westminster to Centennial four years ago over an hour drive for me, but I will continue using them. they do great work and are very. Pleasant to deal with. I and this is the first place. I ever did a review for.

I’ve been going back to Chicago for my appointment since I moved to Denver. Finding a dentist is tricky! My dental hygienist friend referred me here. She had worked in m offices as a temp while she lived in Denver. I’m glad she referred me. They had some neat high tech equipment. My hygienist, Ami had lots of patience with me and she told me what she was doing and why. Most importantly she was very gentle with me while effectively cleaning teeth. They haven’t felt cleaner! Dr. Bright was cheerful, took his time and explained to me all my options for future dental procedures and brightening options. (I’m the age where they gave out too many antibiotics and my teeth are a little yellow with different densities, so they are difficult to brighten) Though I don’t live in the same town, it was totally worth the drive! I’d drive twice as far for this kind of care and quality!

Every staff member goes above and beyond to provide the best possible experience. Everyone is so kind- a staff member came and took my rambunctious 3 year old exploring while I got my teeth cleaned and the doc bounced my baby and showed her the prairie dogs while I got my XRays. They are thorough but quick and the hygienists are very skilled and make it as easy and pain free as possible. No one loves having to go to the dentist but staff at Arbor make sure you have a wonderful experience

I had a dental emergency as a new patient and they squeezed me in right away because they genuinely care. Dr. Matt Strange is so kind and knew exactly what to do to resolve my pain and replaced my broken filling from a previous dentist. All the staff here are compassionate as well as thorough and knowledgeable. This is the kind of personalized, reliable dental care I think everyone hopes for, especially during a crisis. Thank you Arbor Dental for turning my week around!

Dr. Strange and all of the staff were absolutely amazing. I came in to the office with horrible wisdom tooth pain and a fear of going to the dentist. They made everything go so smooth and I have never experienced that level of care and compassion before. I don’t have insurance but they worked with me to make sure I was taken care of. I can’t say enough about how great my experience was, I highly recommend Arbor Dental and I am looking forward to working with their wonderful team again!

Finally found a dentist office I enjoy going to. While I only met a handful of the staff, all were friendly, communicative of what was going to happen and while they doing the checkup and cleaning. They even have different flavors for polish and fluoride (although didn’t get it done, my wife said it was pleasant)

Building is also very conveniently and independently located with not having to fight for parking.

Most importantly between my wife and I, we can first hand confirm that 2 of the 3 dentist are great and knowledgeable. They are very transparent and honest with their recommendation.

Extremely friendly and pleasant staff; I had a wonderful first visit after not having been to the dentist in a couple years. From when i called I was able to get an appointment on the books within a week and a half. The location was great for me and there was plenty of parking. Looking forward to my return in 6 months.
