I’m someone who gets a lot of anxiety going to the dentist. Every single time I’ve been here I’ve felt not only comfortable, but also supported by Dr. To and each hygienist/assistant I’ve had. They’ve even said things like “good job, you made it through!” or “you’re doing awesome!” They are good and honest people here, which I’ve definitely not always had in the past. So glad I found them!

I had a great experience at Door Creek Dental today. It was time for my semi-annual cleaning and the hygienist did a great job. I also felt that the dentist did a very through examination of my mouth. They certainly have my recommendations.

Door Creek Dental is a great facility. They always tell you the cost upfront. They have a great staff. The dentists are very thorough and consistant. The dental hygentist are detailed and polite. They work on making my smile the best it can be. They also work to educate their patients on what is best for their teeth.

The dentist and techs are both very nice & friendly. The dentist has very soft hands and is gentle in your mouth. I am a nervous patient and I was treated so kindly and everything was explained & made as painless as possible. When I started to feel sensitivity, I was given more anesthesia so the remainder of my appointment was completely painless. My only complaint is that it takes about 4 months to get an appointment for routine services, however when I had an emergency I walked in and was seen within 30 minutes of getting there. I highly recommend both Madison branches of Familia Dental.

The dentist my son had was amazing!! She was gentle and passionate about her work! He wasn’t on comfortable with her at all!! I really wish I knew her name because she deserves a lot of appraisal on how she was!! She was so sweet and kind! And my son also made her happy on he was so patient and wasn’t moving or anything just laying there while she was checking his teeth and cleaning them! And when they were done she even let him pick out a prize! Definitely recommend!

Familia Dental did a great job on my grandsons teeth. They were friendly and polite. Most importantly they were thorough! Started with x-rays, visual check, cleaning, sealants, full mouth x-ray to get better look at wisdom teeth and finally fluoride. Very happy with this dental office.

I had an 11:00 appointment. It is 11:45 and I am still waiting. No one has come to explain that the dentist is running behind nor how much longer I’ll have to wait. New dental care facility, I think.
A hour an a half wait for about 15inutes of care. Seems a bit lopsided. While everyone I interacted with was polite, no one explained the long wait or apologized until I asked why my appointment was so delayed. I must return next week. I’ll let you know how that one goes.

UPDATE
For my follow up appointment the wait was better, maybe 20 minutes and the dentist answered all of my questions. A much better visit. Still not sure if I will stay with Familia Dental off East Washington Ave. If the in the next visits the service remains uneven, I will start looking for a new dental care facility.

I just had my teeth cleaned at Artisan Dental today. Such a lovely office, with excellent staff. Artisan Dental has provided by far the best and most pleasant dental care to all three members of my family. My child had significant dental anxiety after dental work in other dental offices in Madison. After just a few visits to Artisan Dental, this anxiety has greatly reduced.

I have gotten a cleaning and a couple fillings over the past month. I have an aggressive gag reflex, and DREAD going to the dentist for this reason. The dentists and hygienists are always really patient and calm with me, and have lots of tips and tricks to help me get through the procedures. Highly recommend!

Very professional and efficient. For my first appointment and when I needed to move an appointment, I had a long initial wait time due to the flood of appointments after COVID lifted some, but they set me up on text alerts for openings and I got appointments both times for sooner dates I wanted. Staff is very nice both in person and on the phone, even recording my availability and time preferences when I wanted to be alerted for an opening.

I visited several weeks ago to get some decalcification spots removed. Everyone was super nice and helpful. My only complaint is that they missed 2 spots right on my front teeth. Overall the results were a significant improvement, but the remaining spots are unfortunately on a very visible part of my teeth.

All things considered, it was a pleasant experience and my teeth are certainly better because of them, but I’m slightly disappointing with the remaining spots.

I had such an amazing experiences at Oak Park Dental! I have been so anxious about getting my teeth looked at and the whole entire office has been fantastic. Amy made me feel so comfortable during X-rays and pictures. She explained everything so well and listened to my concerns. Dr. Jana immediately made me feel so comfortable and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so heard by a dentist ever. Danielle did my cleaning and she was so great! She checked in with me frequently to make sure I was doing okay and talked me through all that was happening! From start to finish Sydney helped me get my appointment and talked me through pricing and scheduling for my future appointments! Overall I’m so impressed with this office and cannot wait to continue my dental future with them! 😊

While they are currently very booked up and it took me a while to get an appointment as a new patient (called in July, just had my appointment), I think it was well worth the wait! Everyone working there is very kind, and they take time to understand you as a patient and your dental goals. Multiple times throughout my regular cleaning I was asked how I was doing. While I’m usually good with dentists, it helped me feel more comfortable that they cared about my well-being, and I feel like this would help people who are more scared of dental work. Really great place, and I’m glad I went!

It easy to write this review given all of the staff at this facility is exceptional. Like many others I suffered from the anxiety of making my own appointments and starting with a new provider, however, I have found the transition seamless from Olivia working, at the front desk, all of the dental hygienists I’ve worked with (Amy, Danielle, Carla), and even Dr. Gyurinan herself. I waited before I wrote this review so I could credit each person, and while I have had multiple visits to this provider not once has my opinion changed. To put it simply, the staff here is excellent and thorough! In honesty I have already moved 2 hours away from Madison but continue to drive here just to make my appointments because I would prefer Oak Park Dental over a new provider in my current location. If you are a new patient, rest assured as I was also once looking at reviews to make my decision of who my next dental provider would be. I followed the star ratings, comments, and in my personal opinion even that did not do justice for the professionalism of the staff.

I had read the reviews about their amazing water pic and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t convinced. A water pic’s a water pic right? Nah – this water pic hits different

Half an hour after my appointment and I know exactly why other reviews specifically highlighted it. My teeth feel as clean as they’ve ever been, and it was quick and easy.

The staff was also very welcoming and pleasant. I had never used dental insurance before and the lady on the phone was able to guide me through it. Great experience, I think I’ve found my new dentist!

All my teenage and adult years I have had a fear of dentistry and have lacked confidence with my smile always trying to make sure I smile with no teeth showing. Recently, my very imperfect smile has been a way bigger stress being as I am getting married in the coming months. I knew I had to do something in attempt to gain some kind of confidence so I can smile normally for my wedding pictures that I’ll last a life time. So, I put on my big girls pants and walked on into oak park dental and was greeted by a wonderful, understanding and passionate group of people who made me feel as comfortable as I could . Just a few appointments later I have a smile I can be confident with and a plan to fix my smile even more in the near cuter with this wonderfully group of ladies . I am happy for myself with the results and they are genuinely happy for me which made it even better . Love you guys !

I have been getting cleanings, exams, and x rays here for the past several years. All of the staff are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. The dental hygienists are friendly and seem to care about my level of comfort during cleanings. They have given me a lot of information about the connection between my chronic health issues and oral health and always give me good tips for reducing plaque and keeping my mouth as healthy as possible. And, best of all, my teeth always feel extremely clean after appointments! I would definitely recommend Affiliated Dentists to anyone looking for a dentist to visit regularly.

Fantastic biannual visit at Affiliated Dentists today! The friendly staff checked me in and within 3 minutes a dental hygienist took me on back for X-rays, cleaning and an exam by Dr. Porter. Consistently the staff from the clerics to the dentists have been welcoming, informative, caring and so proficient. My routine dental cleaning with Neil is impeccable. Today, I had several issues to discuss and a plan to decide. Dr. Porter took time to explain everything and the clerical staff gave me answers about cost and insurance. Since we just moved to Madison (and we don’t have any dental connections yet), a friend suggested Affiliated Dentists. I am glad he did. I went for an initial visit. They are so kind and, here’s the operative word, gentle. (One normally doesn’t use ‘gentle’ and ‘teeth’ in the same paragraph.) The hygienist Laura was simply amazing and Dr. Mark G spent the time explaining what he saw and recommends. Nice. No one looks forward to going to a dentist, I know, but at least here is a professional and kind group of folks.
