From my initial contact with Jennifer to the end of my appointment with Dr. Xu and his staff at the Athens GA location, the experience has been 100% pleasurable.
Dr. Xu showed very personal concern, explained very clearly his plan of action for my particular situation and welcomed me, as did his entire staff, as a new patient.
Besides Dr. Xu, I feel I developed a friendship with Trip and Anthony who walked me through the appointment explaining, in detail, what would be taking place in the exam process.
I feel very confident I have found a very competent doctor and staff to continue the maintenance of my age related macular degeneration.
Dr Xu is very thorough and explains any changes in my eye exam at each visit and lets me know if further treatment is needed. I feel confident I am receiving the very best care from him. Staff members handle this busy office in a friendly/efficient manner.
Southeast retina center is a caring and wonderful facility. They have a kind, friendly and knowledgeable staff and employees. They make you feel at ease and explain every detail. My first time here. I was 3rd in line to check in. The wait was 8 min because the guy in the front of the line was on the phone with his insurance company.
I waited another 10 minutes to be called, of course she only wanted my id and payment.
40 minutes of waiting in the office I was excited that my name was finally called, but she only needed me to fill out paper work.
The eye guys have an assembly line approach, these guy have a ‘you are going to here for hours so no rush.
An hour and 10 minutes after my scheduled time. I am rescheduling.
Doctor Xu is amazing. The staff are all considerate and supportive. But this is our fourth visit and as usual it is an over two hours wait time.
