  My appointment was concerning eye floaters an aging disease. I was promptly greeted by a vision assistant based on my arrival time, and she was pleasant and courteous setting up my profile and performing vision tests. After a short wait I met with Dr. Schultz, and he was very thorough and professional in conductng his exam. He allowed me plenty of time for questions and discussions on my condition and my overall vision health. Thumbs up👍for making a patient feel significant.

  My experience with GR Ophthalmology has been exceptional ! My experience with Dr. Muallen has been outstanding to date. I had cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment for both eyes.   Dr. Morehouse performed cataract surgery on both my eyes. His explanations were excellent. Surgery was easy & recovery was great. During the whole procedure he was easy to talk to and patiently answered any questions. Glad I had it done.

  This sounds cheesy but when it comes to my eyes 👀 I only go to West Michigan Eyecare. Dr. Kenyon’s thorough when it comes to my eye care. West Michigan Eyecare staff and personal assistant to the ophthalmologist are naturally nice. None of that unfriendly friendly there seems to be a lot of these days. That said a lot about the character of the establishment and enough to keep me a customer

  After my long time doctor retired, I chose this practice because it is very near my home. The website and comments impressed me. They didn’t do it justice! I have glaucoma that was advancing, and every single person in this office is so friendly and professional. My doc erred on the side of caution by referring me to a specialist. I feel very cared for and about–not just a not patient to get through quickly. This includes the eyewear department. They didn’t even blink about me bringing in 4 pair of glasses for size adjustments. The doctors are amazing and thorough (Dr. Geneva is my assigned doc.) They are happy to work around your schedule, and don’t make you feel like you are putting them out because something came up and a switch is needed. The doctors have an assistant in the exam room taking computer notes so that the doc can focus on the exam and you, not the “paperwork”. They even take your copay right in the the exam room. Besides that, the office is gorgeous, and has a calming effect. 1000% happy with my new eye doc and so is my husband. Sally 🙂

  I see Dr. Kenyon and have been a patient of his for the last 4 years. One of the best ophthalmologist I’ve seen in this area. Listens, willing to give samples to ensure contacts are the right fit and pricing is pretty average. They stopped accepting my insurance 2 years ago but have given me discounts and rebates to keep my cost down and very similar, if not better, than before. Office staff is very friendly too.

  Before leaving for an out of town trip, one of my contacts ripped and a piece was suspected to be still in my eye. After trying to get it out myself, I called my eye doctor and he could not see me due to office being closed. They recommended Grand Rapids Opthamolgy, which they told me they would not see me because I wasn’t a patient. My doctors office then recommended I try West Michigan Eye Care. The receptionist was very nice and agreed to to talk to the doctor about my case. They agreed to see me and gave me an appointment later that morning. Everyone from the receptionist,the tech, to the doctor were so nice. Going above and beyond to help me. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated them fitting me into their Friday schedule. And even better, the doctor was able to locate the missing contact piece. I would definitely recommend their office. Thank you again.

  I had an eye appointment scheduled, but the doctor had to leave for an emergency. I was given the choice to reschedule or wait for another doctor to squeeze me in. I waited a few minutes and was seen by Dr. William G Schultz, OD. He was very thorough and took the time to address all of my concerns. His approach was straight forward, respectful, and educational.   My ophthalmologist is Marcus Muallem, MD. I have a number of eye problems and among them
  glaucoma, which is one of his specialties. In his capable hands, I have stopped pain in my eyes, constant squinting, and serious difficulties with glare. I have grown to have complete faith in him.

  Grand Rapids Ophthalmology does NOT care about bad experiences their customers have. Each time they said to leave a message with one of the top people (Amy I believe) about a bad experience I had with one of their doctors, I never heard back. They never followed up, never wrote in my chart regarding the issue or wrote down my request to not be seen by that doctor again. Dr. Schultz made me so uncomfortable and acted so annoyed that my children were with me. If I asked to redo seeing a comparison he acted annoyed. When I asked a question about my previous script compared to what he was going to write me, he was annoyed and gave me a super short answer. I didn’t understand his answer but felt uncomfortable to ask him to explain it more as I could tell he couldn’t wait to be done. He had such an attitude and made me feel uncomfortable trying to make sure my results were accurate. Our presence irritated him. Between him and the head lady not returning multiple calls – Terrible way to treat customers. Now I have been stuck without perscription glasses for the majority of the year and have had many migraine headaches because I cannot process a bad script.

  Words cannot describe my experience here. The team here is amazing! Dr. K was supper accommodating to our last minute visit there. I was not expecting a follow up call on how my daughter was doing and he did just that.
