  Seem like scheduling is a little off, maybe had emergency, don’t know, didn’t ask. Appointment was at 2pm, didn’t see doctor until
  3:05pm, then leaving office at 3:25pm. Did enjoy meeting Dr. Rebecca for the first time, believe she going to be great to work with has my doctor. Thank you!

  I’ve never left a doctors office feeling more defeated in my life. I was referred for surgery thru my local eye doctor. When I arrived I was told that “normally they would do surgery but because I’m too large for their operating table, they are gonna pursue other things”. And initially would be an inconvenience for me, but I can always do it at the hospital but I won’t be able to do it with a laser, I’ll have to use a microscope to do it”. Honestly I have no confidence in the doctor using an alternative method they don’t normally use, nor do I like feeling like a burden bc im not skinny. My mental health took a big hit from this. I won’t be recommending to anyone and in 1 call I found another doctor who can accommodate me.

  Fantastic from start to finish cataract surgery. My surgery was by Dr Huffman at the Richmond facility. I think it was Dr Mark Huffman. All the staff were lovely as well.

  Several years ago Dr. Hollins performed laser procedures on my eyes to fix retinal bleeding and has also reattached my right retina. I experienced only minimal discomfort and am very pleased with the results. I still see him for regular check-ups and he continues to show the same skill and concern that he did during my initial procedures. He is friendly while remaining professional and has made a complex condition easy to understand and manage. If you need a specialist for retina issues I highly recommend Dr Hollins.

  I saw Dr Blake Isernhagen yesterday for the first time. He was very warm and personable, yet professional and direct which I appreciate. He took his time to discuss the reason for my visit, exam, and plan moving forward. All the staff were kind, respectful , and efficient. I highly recommend Dr Blake.

  Appointment was at 1, we sat in the second one waiting area for 2.5 hours. While they were nice, an overall 3 hr wait was ridiculous. Pushed through the appointment very fast said we’re no issues and sent us on our way. So either they book appointments too close together or they take an extremely long lunch that puts them back a few hours. I’ll be looking around for other professionals to go with who have knowledge of how to schedule patients.

  Dr. Isernhagen (Dr. Blake) hands down is an exceptional doctor! My son (14yrs old) has been on this horrible road with Uveitis. Dr. Blake since day one has explained everything thoroughly. I feel like he’s always been very straight forward and honest. When I call the office worried I always get a call back the same day. He’s still doing everything he can to find the underlying cause of my son’s problem. He most definitely never makes us feel like he’s in a hurry to get to his next patient.   I had been diagnosed as a diabetic, I chose Doctor Curtis William J . MD Ophthalmology as he vigilant monitored my progress ensuring that my eyes remained healthy, I ,however; developed cataracts in both eyes. Doctor C monitored my eyes closely until it was time for cataract surgery. His entire staff are wonderful, friendly, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I had surgery on both eyes which were very successful. I was a little nervous but the entire surgical staff at Lexington Surgical Center were amazing . Thanks to Dr. Curtis, I can now sing, “I can see clearly now the rain is gone “..

  Appointment at 3:00 arrived at 2:50 was told Doctor had to leave because of an emergency and that my appointment was at 2:15. I produced my appointment card reading 3:00 the
  Witch said Oh well we tried to call so I looked at my phone showed it to the witch on duty See no calls Back to back lies. I had driven 70 miles and was told that now the next appointment was a month away. Beware of these unprofessional people !!!!!

  Dr Johannes Evans is amazing. The staff is friendly. However, they are really, really bad at scheduling!! They always schedule people on top of each other. I’ve never had a wait time less than 45 minutes, which is completely absurd. I have to allot at least 2.5 hours just for an annual eye exam.

  Upon arrival the receiving staff was very nice. Dr. J. Evans was cheerful with a great personality however I felt rushed. I was triple booked with 2 other ladies all with appts at 3pm for the same Dr. (Learned that while we all visited as we waited). I finally saw Dr. Evans at 4:48. Being anxious about having eye surgery, I was only going in for a consultation, just for a talk, to understand the process of surgery. I was not expecting an exam and to have my eyes dilated. No one told me I should have had a driver bring me. The drive home was a nightmare! Total time with Dr. Evans was less than 10 min. After a whirlwind and confusing conversation I was then escorted to Shannon to set up surgery. She was very nice however, after being dilated and told it would take about 2 hours to see clearly, I was expected to read and sign papers for an invasive eye surgery I could not clearly see to read. I was then asked a personal question that had nothing to do with my eyes, did not relate to this office visit and violated hippa laws. By this time I was so overwhelmed and stressed I said “forget this” and walked out. I will not return to this office.

  I had a great experience at Kentucky Eye Institute! They got me an appointment super fast and everyone was very kind and friendly! I especially appreciated Karen for going above and beyond in her patient care skills! I also appreciated Dr. Bryant Evans, as he was very knowledgeable about the concerns I had. The woman who helps with the glasses was a breath of fresh air (I cannot remember her name, but she was amazing!). I definitely will be coming back for any of my eye care needs!
