  1. I always have a pleasant experience at Dental Plaza. I just had a crown done and they did a great job. The crown turned out very well, great fit.
    Thanks,

  2. My kids have been going here since they first got teeth and now they’re teens. We see Dr. Meyers and he’s great at what he does! We love it here, they’re very professional, listen to your concerns, and do a great job. The staff is super friendly and the kids have had the same hygienist since the start so they get to know you. They work very efficiently and appointments are quick and easy. My daughter just had her wisdom teeth removed here too.

  3. Best dentist I’ve been to in town! They’re always as gentle as possible and check in if you need anything. They talk you through ways to better your teeth and don’t resort to the most extreme solution immediately like previous dentists I’ve been to. The insurance ladies is always very helpful at walking me through any concerns or questions I might have.

  4. Love this place. Michelle the dental assistant is great with my 4 and 2 year old. I like that she’s quick and just gets it done while being really gentle and encouraging. I’ve had visits at other places where they drag it out to get the kids comfortable, but honestly seems to make it worse with my kids and it takes an hour just to get the cleaning done before we see the doctor. My daughter is nervous and I do hold her arms and hands out of the way, but is mostly cooperative. Michelle makes it super quick and easy and she’s so good at encouraging them. My daughter loves the stickers and the prize machine at the end of the visit. I don’t remember the doctor’s name but we’ve had him the past couple times and he is really nice and quick too. Really patient with my nervous daughter. Very satisfied with this office.

  5. Went in for my consult today.

The receptionist and the hygienist, Ashley, was very kind and understanding of my severe dental anxiety.

The dentist, David Adam Meyers DMD, was also great. He was also very understanding, and kind I didn’t feel judged for my poor dental health. He seemed very willing to work with me and my anxieties and phobias and clearly presented the issues to be dealt with, his preferred treatment plan, and all the sedation options available to me.

UPDATE: I had my double extraction yesterday with oral sedation and nitrous. They got me in quickly, were very kind and patient with me, and I felt nothing!! I highly recommend them!

From Cavities to Discoloration: The U.S.’s Most Prevalent Dental Concerns

Here are some of the most common dental issues in the U.S. include:

  1. Tooth Decay (Cavities): This is one of the most prevalent dental problems not just in the U.S., but worldwide. When plaque forms on the teeth and is not removed through brushing or flossing, it can produce acids that wear away tooth enamel, leading to cavities.
  2. Gum Disease (Periodontal Disease): This is an infection of the gums surrounding the teeth. It’s also one of the main causes of tooth loss among adults. There are two major stages — gingivitis and periodontitis. Regular dental check-ups along with brushing at least twice a day and flossing daily play a significant role in preventing gum disease.
  3. Tooth Sensitivity: Many people experience tooth sensitivity, which entails discomfort or pain in teeth when encountering certain substances and temperatures.
  4. Toothaches and Dental Emergencies: These can result from a variety of issues including abscessed teeth, wisdom teeth, or facial accidents affecting the mouth.
  5. Tooth Erosion: This is the loss of tooth structure and is caused by acid attacking the enamel. Tooth erosion signs and symptoms can range from sensitivity to more severe problems like cracking.
  6. Tooth Discoloration: Over time, teeth can become discolored or stained, especially after smoking, taking certain medications, or consuming foods and beverages such as coffee and tea.

Regular dental visits can help detect these issues early and can aid in prevention and treatment. It’s worth noting that trends and statistics related to dental health can change over time, so it might be helpful to consult the American Dental Association or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the most recent data on common dental issues in the U.S.

Great staff and experience from welcoming at the front desk to a pleasant procedure.

I can get nervous at the dentist even with just a regular cleaning. Not only was I surprised at the modern equipment but how calm and kind the staff are before, during, and after my visit. Not once did I feel uncomfortable.

Coming from another office (the Doctor had retired) everything went better than I could have ever expected. Feels like I have been a patient for years already.

Unfortunately going elsewhere they were very helpful for me when I had a dental emergency and we thought we found our new dentist. Now my wife has tried to make appointments for the family and they are requiring we pay a deposit per person just to make an appointment. This can be very inconvenient as well as unheard of as far as my experience with a number of different dentist offices

I’ve been going here for years and have always had a good experience. Everyone is friendly and the work I’ve had done is very good without ever giving me trouble or needing to go back in to have something fixed. Definitely check Merski out if you’re looking for a new dentist.

Dr Lee Simon has a first rate practice, When I had a dental problem in Florida we came back early to have Doctor Simon fix the problem, after seeing a dentist and a endodontist in Florida. We made the right decision, have always received the best care with any dentist and we are in our 70s.
