The gentleman by the fish struck up a convo while I waited for my wife to arrive and the lady at the register was extremely kind while my son threw a fit for not getting a ball he wanted. She even offered to give my son the ball with a free product voucher she had (my son needs to learn how to deal with not getting what he wants so i declined the offer). He’s extremely knowledgeable about fish and aquariums and always gives the perfect advice. Give the man a raise!By A W (in the last week)What happened to this place? Absolute mess of a store. aisles always closed off with inventory carts. I was just in the store for maybe 5 minutes tops to just get cat liter and an employee told me to get out of the aisle I was in for maybe 15 seconds as he was using it for moving product. I explained to the employee that I needed to simply grab the items I needed and I would be out of the way and had to remind him that I am the customer! Absolutely blew my mind how little the store cares about selling any products. This store is frankly a fire hazard with so much product closing off aisles and is an absolute ADA nightmare. Lastly, if you’re going to provide carts, provide a cart corral in the parking lot. - Reviews:Friendly local pet shop with a decent selection of fish and other pets. I have visited many times and every time the staff have been friendly and helpful. I have purchased a few fish the likes of which no other store in the area had including Galaxy Rasboras and some very nice Galaxy Koi Bettas. Their aquatic plant selection is nice as well as their fish food selection. The right stock to take care of them also. Knowledgeable staff! It is smaller than chain store pet shops, but l think much better and fun! While they do take great care of the fish… the animals in the back are in extremely horrible conditions. None of them have the correct habitats and they are sitting in so much spoiled bedding. They have tarantulas on aspen which is not right at all, snakes in very dry enclosures, and the smell of pee coming from there is just horrid. That place should be shut down if I’m being honest. One of the only places around to pick up amazing saltwater coral and amazing saltwater fish. Just pets is also the only place in the area to have live rats and mice for my snakes ????. They also have best prices on freshwater fish too. Added bonus is that there receipts have a coupon for 20 percent of fish for next time u stop in!!!!! Great place large spacious aisle ways large selection good prices freindly helpful knowledgable staff large store compared to our local one at least! Like I say large selections of pet items aquariums bird accessories and cages even have live birds and other animals
Everything pet related in one store. Some items seem pricier than other places but again all you need in one spot! Bought an aquarium and the pump went out after a few hours. Took it back, returned with no issue. Ended up upgrading to a bigger tank. So far so good.
Store is great! Don’t recommend grooming they’ve gone SO downhill in the past year. They took 5 hours to groom our dog who usually takes 2 1/2. “Extremely matted” he gets groomed every 8 weeks and brushed twice weekly. They even called us in an hour early and it still took so long. They said he was anxious and didn’t like it but when we go to a competitor they have nothing but positives to say about him. I’d be anxious to if I sat somewhere to for a 5 hour hair cut! Absolutely ridiculous we will not be back!
There is nothing special, high prices, and the only thing cool is that you can bring ya dog, but note. Most places will let ya dog in longs as it’s not hyper. crazy huh so save ya money an go to cheaper store for dog stuff
Was literally denied a goldfish sale.. I could tell she just didn’t feel like getting me one she kept asking questions and no matter what I said she would come up with an excuse. “Oh your tanks to small” I offered to buy a bigger one “oh it needs to be cycled sorry I’m not making this sale today” I know what cycling is and you can cycle with a fish in the aquarium.. I’ve been keeping many different kinds of fish for over a year now never have been denied a sale before
