5 months agoTwo is being generous. There are 20 people in line for self checkout and 7 more just waiting for the one register they have open. Only half of the self checkouts are working and not one of the staff cares or is helping the 3 out of 4 working self checkouts. They have 12 self checkouts and only 4 are working. SMH5 months agoI really like the ladies at the self check out. They have a lot of patience, so that’s the reason for the 3 stars. My main issue is that they always have expired food on the shelves and cold sections. I hate getting home and realizing something expired weeks ago. I used to just throw the food away because it’s a headache to drive back up there. But, I was basically throwing money away so now I take it back to the store.
I understand always checking perishable items before purchases. But pasta? Soup? Cookies? Why are these things on the shelf if they expired a month ago? Please do better.
2 weeks agoYou had a good thing going when all discounts were connected to Kroger plus card but this new system with the digital coupons that you have to scan and not having staff trained to override that stupid system that doesn’t work just cost you a lifelong customer.a month agoPlenty of parking spots and handicap accessible. Employees were helpful and courteous.7 months agoHeidi in the floral department is off the chain. She takes care of me with roses and fresh flowers often. Very friendly and easy to talk to by the way. I only come when she’s there, nobody makes the floral Arrangements as good as she does.Hershell

a year agoThis has to be the cleanest most organized Kroger in Douglasville! I’ll drive the 5.5 miles just to shop here. I’m really impressed with their stock, selections, and the layout! They are extremely organized and well stocked with all kinds of selections to choose from. ❤️????3 months agoI cannot say enough good things about the awesome customer service that Tye in the produce department provided me. I went to get a watermelon and there were none in the bin. He offered to get me one from the back and picked out the sweetest one and placed it in my basket, all with a smile. Thanks Tye for making this a great shopping experience.7 months agoI usually go to a different pharmacy but decided to try this one because it was close by, that was my first mistake. I went by at 7:00pm to drop off my prescription, with no expectation for them to fill my prescription at all seeing that they close at 8pm. Before I could even open my mouth to say what I was there for I was greeted by this old lady with a jagged blonde wig saying “ we ain’t gone fill no prescription tonight” not one hello how are you in sight! But I ignored that and said, yes mam I understand, I just wanted to drop it off. Someone came and took my phone number and said I would be called when it was ready. No one asked for my insurance info or anything. So It’s now 11:00 and I haven’t even received a call, so I reach out. And the rudeness continues, I give my information and she states I’m not even in the system, I inform her that I dropped it off last night. And she comes back and says “well who do you have insurance with ” I respond, and she responds in a nasty tone “well do you have the information because I don’t have anything” I kindly let her know that no one asked me for my insurance information and she cuts me off and says, “okay, what is it” not asking for specific Info because I don’t have a clue what I for she needs. I kindly say I want to take my prescription elsewhere at this point. I refuse to patronize anywhere that people are rude and nasty. And unprovoked at that. Based on their previous reviews. They need a whole new team!7 months agoIf you are a person of color DO NOT SHOP HERE !!! They will have security watching you from the moment you enter the store. They wear gray shirts and black pants to try and blend in but they follow you around everywhere…and when you are Checking out they will pretend to buy something usually something at the register like candy or a drink and no other groceries or they are on the phone pretending to be casual …sadly they are EXTREMELY obvious. Very disappointed that this has happened so many times that I can point them out .I can’t shop in peace. I just want to get groceries and go home without the the AP Team making me feel like I’m a criminal!!!6 months agoThe store is looking more uniform to the other Kroger in the area. Self check out and fresh foods and you can buy lottery tickets here as well

I love this Kroger. It’s always neat and clean and staff is always friendly. It’s that time of year where displays of fall start to appear and Kroger is already making themselves available for the upcoming festivities of what fall brings. The store is always clean and stocked and is starting to look great. I hate they got rid of the bank of America but we can’t have it all right?
Kroger have great prices but at this location the bathrooms are horrific, and the floors are dirty. But other than that the prices of their food and beverages are great. I’m a clean person so that’s why the score is low
No greeters or welcome back, to minimize the energy from the customers/ public- to make them feel welcome. Certain area of the produce department had a spoil smell that Health Department needs to evaluate, not fully stocked, despite of the heat outside, not cool inside to kill the germs of all sorts. No sanitizers at door for entering & exiting. Where’s family restrooms. The smell of cleanness is vital, for those with allergies ????!. The self service wasn’t bleach and where is the cashier(s) for emergency flow. This place is becoming like Wal-Mart laziness and no cashiers in other sections after 6 o’clock rush to closing. Customers service is a major part of any business. Keep that reputation up and that will prioritize the business productivity and prosperity level to vital, excelling rate.
If I could give 0 zeros stars I would. This place is always dirty and in disarray. Every time I see the new head manager she’s belittling her employees and rude to customers. I’m taking my business to Publix at least they have things on the shelf and people who are welcoming and helpful.
Went to Kroger to get fresh fish. No employee anywhere to be found. Went to guest care to notify, the employee immediately made the call over the loud speaker. I went back to seafood and stood there. No employee showed. I saw two employees chatting nearby, one was dustfing the floor, the other seemed to be a supervisor maybe, his name tagged said DARRELL. I notified of the issue. He said Bradon supposed to be there, I will find Brandon, but continued his conversation. When done with his conversation, he went to the loud speaker to call Brandon and disappeared. I walked out the store. Customer service seems to be lost.
