- Reviews:I signed my then-11-year-old, who is now 12 years old. The bullying that my son faced at school and his lack of confidence were tough times. It is the first time that my son has participated in any sport. My son has been training in Muay Thai and BJJ for a few months now, and I must say that I have noticed a significant difference in him. His attitude is positive and his confidence is growing. School is fine. The professor believes in his team, is very dedicated, and is passionate about what he teaches. Very honest. I’ve heard horror stories about this gym, in terms of low level bjj, and getting screwed for alot of money. There are plenty of other MMA orientated martial art schools in the area. I’ve been doing bjj for almost ten years, and have ran into plenty of people who left this team, and they all showed lower level skill for the amount of time they’ve been training. This school also doesnt let you train at other gyms at all from what I’ve heard. You also have to buy their gear and cant wear anything else. It’s a money racket, and you wont find high level bjj here. I’ve heard even worse stories, and its unfortunate. I wish the gym and the people there the best at the end of the day, but if they dont change there ways (or for god sakes get some actual real bjj black belts there) theyll continue to have real reviews like this one.By s3venfold24 (a month ago)More than happy with the results of my children, not only in sports but also in their daily lives. The professors here not only know exactly what they’re talking about but actually try to get you to understand it and apply it. Everything I learn here I find an applicable use for when sparring. - Reviews:ATA is a great organization that has provided my daughter guidance and discipline. In only 5 months my daughter’s behavior has improved, she is more accepting of constructive criticism and she has gained lots of self confidence thanks to the teachings during her taekwondo sessions! The sessions are twice a week for about 45 mins. They have different schedules to best accommodate everyone’s needs and they are pretty flexible if in need of adjustments or arrangements! The studio is always clean and all matters seem to be properly organized. All the staff at ATA are polite, encouraging and project very positive energy around my daughter and all the other children. I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking to have their children form part of a very welcoming and uplifting community! Our son has been training for almost a year, and it has been wonderful for him in many different ways. The instructors are very good at what they do and building a rapport with their students. This a a woman-owned and led studio with a strong, serious, compassionate (and sometimes playful) way of teaching all of the pillars of Taekwondo. My son started almost a year ago at next level (age 5).
Right from the start we felt this class was going to be great for our son. The owner is very involved and professional.
All the coaches have been great. They have a lot of patience and you can tell they really do enjoy teaching their young minds.

We started Muay Thai as a family at the beginning of December ’22 and love it. We feel so welcome and bonus….its so much fun. The coaching team is amazing and continues to motivate us with new skills they teach each week. Highly recommend!
Next level has been the best activity for our four year old son! The coaches are patient, passionate, and really know their craft. They consistently check in to improve our sons experience and are always helping him during class. It’s been an incredible confidence booster for him and we are so thankful to have found next level!!
Very friendly and professional environment for children and adults. My 7yo and myself are in beginner karate classes and it has been a great experience so far. You definitely get what you put into it, you have to put in the work and practice in order to grow and learn.
Next level martial arts is not just for young kids. My 17 year old takes Muay Thai classes and he LOVES going here 3 times a week. It says a lot about the instructors to get a teenager to look forward to all the classes. He is not only shown how to succeed on the mat, but off the mat as well. They encourage him to be the best he can in life. He feels accepted and encouraged all while learning Muay Thai. Even the other students are amazing! Very welcoming place. Master Charles, the owner, is very respectful, professional and helpful and will answer any questions you have. You won’t meet a nicer, more welcoming guy than Master Charles!
