  2. Do NOT purchase gift cards at this store. Store clerks know they are frequently tampered with but the store does nothing to keep the cards secure. I am out $150 for my daughter’s birthday gift now and there’s nothing the store can do to help. I understand this is a third-party purchase, but when I asked (politely!) that at the very least the gift cards at the front of the store be checked and secured, they said there’s nothing they can do. Since the store won’t do anything to protect its customers, please protect yourselves so you don’t get scammed like I did.

  3. This is the best Walmart in Peterborough. A Huge range of products at affordable prices are available here. Self Check-out is the most important facility available here. Combo offers, Saver deals, and amazing prices. This is a shoppers destination for sure. This Walmart is super clean and tidy. Awesome experience shopping here. Loved it❤️

  4. Terrible employees with such lack of knowledge in their inventory its sickening, and they barley speak english. I was in cosmetics looking for a skin tag remover, 3 employees (indian of course who were speaking their native language with each other) running around asking people what that is and where to find it. And still unsuccessful, im appalled that these people are being employed.

  5. I just finished picking up a few things at the Walmart in Peterborough North End. I got toothpaste and 2 stalks of broccoli. I went through self checkout which wasn’t busy. As I was finished paying the employee who oversees the self-checkouts game over and grabbed the receipt as it was coming out of the machine before I had a chance too. The employee asked why I never weighed the broccoli stocks? I said because it’s paid for by quantity, not weight. She then read over my receipt and said she was making sure I put both stalks through (which I had, I’m not a thief). I DID NOT APPRECIATE WHAT SHE WAS IMPLYING. After checking my receipt, she handed it to me and walked away saying nothing. I was in a hurry to get to work or else I would have given her a piece of my mind. If she is going to be overseeing the check-outs then she should know what is paid for by weight and what is paid for by quantity. And she needs to be a lot more tactful. Because right now…..your lowers prices aren’t worth this kind of B.S.

    The guy working at the computer desk in electronics ignored me while playing some game on his phone. Then after 5 minutes of waiting he said he cant help me because his shift ends in 10 minutes… i wouldnt buy a computer from here…seems lazy and uncaring

    I was very disappointed with the fact the store is heavily understocked purchased 2 items and they are not made for what I need extremely poor customer service rude checkout do not shop here

    This Walmart unfortunately racially profiles their clients. Discrimination is NOT okay, there should be better training for equal treatment

    Update May 29th 2020: Would be good if your cashier could not put bags of sugar on top of bread, better yet not have them put cleaning supplies with the kids snacks. Don’t appreciate cleaner with bleach spilling on the 3 bags of kids goldfish. Self checkout is 20 items or less 🙁 then only 2 checkouts open 5-6 people in each. They might want cashiers that know how to scan efficiently 44 items and 15 mins wait is insane. Sure they can find a department they are more suited for than cashier.
