  I recently hired Henry and his team to do a project around the skylight in my master bathroom. I had Henry drop in prior to committing to the project to do an assessment of the situation and to determine as best as he could what the issue was. When Henry came by, I was pretty adamant that I thought it was a little bit of surface mould because of some condensation from the skylight. Henry believed it was an insulation issue in the attic. He charged me money to do the inspection/removal of the mould and then I had to hire another person to do the remediation of the mould. When his workers came to do the work, it was discovered pretty quickly that the issue was simply surface mould and that there was a tiny gap in the skylight where the connection to the roof was. If Henry had spent the time inspecting the skylight like it was his job to do, then I would have saved almost $2,000 on a project that was virtually useless. I tried reasoning with Henry after the project was done to get a discount because the work was done in a few hours, however he wasn’t having any of it. I’m not a petty person, so I didn’t complain, but I think others should be aware of the poor customer service I went through based on my experience. I won’t work with this organization again if I encounter another problem.

  We found the service and communication to be excellent. Henry quoted us in detail for asbestos removal and reinsulating. On the first day of service Mike and his team arrived on time. They spent a lot of time setting up barriers and doing everything they could to protect our home. They were so hard working in extremely hot weather. We couldn’t have been happier with Healthy Environmental and thoroughly recommend them.

  Upon selling our home in 2019, we learned from buyer getting inspection that there was a strange piece of “material” in a crawlspace basement. Turned out to be asbestos. We had to have proof of proper removal and disposal. And Health Environmental came to our rescue. While here they also fixed a bathroom fan issue and after they were done- it was spotless and clean. Service was professional and I would absolutely recommend them!

  I worked here for a month and the level of incompetence within the corporation was amazing twice I had people training me running a peristaltic pump backwards blowing air into the water being sampled completely volatilizing and VOC’s in the sample and wasting major amounts of time. Anyone using Pinchin should be extremely weary of there results and insurance companies likely shouldn’t insure them as there results are likely wrong leaving the firm open to enormous amounts of E and O liabilities. Let alone the fact that their project management staff approved us drilling through a gas line after the trainees had marked it as being there. Followed by me being let go for no apparent reason. Do not give them your time they will not even give you an explanation when they cut you in order to cover the cost of increased premiums from having drilled through a gas line. Really is a shame they are allowed to operate that way.

  Not a very professional company to deal with. They charge you for consult meetings without notifying you that it is chargeable before the meeting. So watch out clients, ask them. They do not give you any clear answers. Literally charged us over $5K for discussing findings with us and god forbid if you decide not to go any further with them like us. They send you thousands of dollars in billing and indicate that the phone conference calls where you asked questions on their findings are chargeable. What kind of engineering firm does that? They do not even wish to explain except the same invoice again and again. They also charged us for giving a Phase 2 proposal since we told them we would not be going ahead with the study. I do not give reviews but I have tried talking to these guys multiple times and have given up and don’t wish any client who is a small company to go through this.
